Maria Menounos’ Dancing With The Stars Tango Video 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, TV correspondent Maria Menounos and her professional dance partner Derek Hough are dancing the Tango. Are you a fan of them dancing together?
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
They are dancing to School’s Out by Alice Cooper. She has stress reactions in her left foot and in her right foot, a stress fracture. She says that quitting the show has never been an option and she is going to keep pushing through.
Our commentary on the dance:
Maria sheds the good girl image for a black dress to dance in. Derek is rocking the faux-hawk. The crowd is cheering as she dances. She’s doing fabulous. She doesn’t appear to be injured at all when she dances. She pulled it off!
Judge’s comments:
Carrie Ann: She’s a tough one. They have incredible chemistry when they dance. There were beautiful lines and passion. It was good, very good.
Len: The Tango is a mix of anger and control, and occasionally they lost control. She’s got great posture. It was pretty good.
Bruno: It was the best. With a broken foot, she did well, so he looks forward to seeing what she can do when her foot is healed.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Total: 26/30

William Levy’s Dancing With The Stars Jive Video 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Latin soap stud and underwear model William Levy and his professional dance partner Cheryl Burke are performing the Jive. We’re going to need to see some shirtless action there, William!
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
Why is he wearing a shirt tonight? If Donald can do it, why not William? Cheryl rips his shirt open before their dance to show off his abs. She knows what sells. They’re dancing to Twisted Sister’s We’re Not Gonna Take It. He’s being mentored by two guys from Steel Panther.
Our commentary on the dance:
Her dress is cute and he’s got the moves down. It’s fast and hip — and the butt shaking. Thank you to Cheryl for her wonderful choreography. He’s in control and he’s rocking it. Cheryl lost a shoe!
Judge’s comments:
Len: It went wrong and he lost timing during the end part. Last week, he went wrong and this week he went wrong.
Bruno: His performance always rocks the house, but he did go off. He went wrong quite a few times. He’s got so much talent, but tonight wasn’t as good as he could be.
Carrie Ann: Len is right, he’s got to learn the routines and stay focused on his partner.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 7
Len Goodman: 7
Bruno Tonioli: 8
Total: 22/30

Gladys Knight’s Dancing With The Stars Tango Video 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, legendary soul singer Gladys Knight and her professional dance partner Tristan MacManus are performing the Tango. We’re rooting for you Gladys!
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
She said that she’s the grandma of rock n’ roll. They are dancing to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
Our commentary on the dance:
Oh lordy did they really kick off the song with the judges singing the song?!? Ugh. Seriously. Gladys is doing well and seems to be very light on her feet. It’s slow, but it’s good. The song got faster and so did they. Excellent!
Judge’s comments:
Carrie Ann: By far her most ambitious routine. She thinks it’s a hard song to dance to. It didn’t quite all come together.
Len: He commends Tristan on his choreography and Gladys coped well with difficult music. Her posture needs to be better.
Bruno: She’s a class act, regardless of what she does. It was a difficult song.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 7
Len Goodman: 6
Bruno Tonioli: 7
Total: 20/30

Donald Driver’s Dancing With The Stars Paso Doble Video 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver and his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd are dancing the Paso Doble. Will he continue to improve like he has already so far?
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
Donald and Peta are dancing to Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix, which is an excellent song choice for them. Peta is making Donald shirtless for the dance. The ladies are going to love it — along with Bruno, according to her.
Our commentary on the dance:
Donald is really taking the bull by the horns with this dance. He definitely is in control, but appears to be having a blast with it. He definitely has the right amount of aggression and passion for the dance. I imagine it helps the audience that he’s shirtless.
Judge’s comments:
Bruno: Great guns Donald! Muscular, masculine and magnificent. It had power, pride and a sense of humor.
Carrie Ann: It was raw, sexy, raunchy! It was one of the most memorable moments of the season.
Len: After the show, they’ll compare tattoos. He didn’t hold back and he frightened the life out of him. By far his best dance.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Len Goodman: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Total: 27/30

Melissa Gilbert’s Dancing With The Stars Paso Doble Video 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Little House On The Prairie actress Melissa Gilbert and her professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy are taking on the Paso Doble. It’s our favorite week of the season!
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
Our commentary on the dance:
The dance appears to be a little slow and she’s losing her footing with it. It’s lacking the aggression that the dance is known for. She looks strange in her facial expressions.
Judge’s comments:
Len: He liked it. He was concerned and thought she would be unsure and unsteady, but she attacked it. He’s looking forward to her doing a slower dance.
Bruno: HOT BLOODED DRAMA APLENTY! They messed up the ending. In the slower parts, it was great. He felt like she was running for it, instead of being on top of it.
Carrie Ann: It was her best performance by far. They are stunning together. When she is in hold, she doesn’t consider herself equal with Maks. They need to find a balance in the hold.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 7
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 7
Total: 22/30

Katherine Jenkins’ Dancing With The Stars Paso Doble Video 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas are dancing the Paso Doble. She dances pretty well, let’s hope that she can continue to do just that!
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
Our commentary on the dance:
The dance is aggressive and Katherine is definitely bringing out her inner Welsh Warrior. The steps are well done and it looks like the boxing really helped with her aggressive attitude. Well done!
Judge’s comments:
Bruno: She unleashed a whirlwind of fury, but it has to retain definition. Nice job, she’s a great dancer, but it’s not as refined as a Paso Doble should be.
Carrie Ann: The intensity was there, but it threw her off her footing.
Len: It had promise, but it didn’t quite deliver. She went for the attack, but it wasn’t there. She’s a wonderful dancer.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 8
Len Goodman: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 8
Total: 24/30

Sherri Shepherd’s Dancing With The Stars Tango Video 4/9/12
by Lydia Harris on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

On tonight’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, talk show host Sherri Shepherd and her professional dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy are performing the Tango. Will she be able to pull it off??
As always, we are live-blogging all of the action in tonight’s show, so you can read all about that here.
They’re dancing to Quiet Riot’s song Cum On Feel The Noize.
Our commentary on the dance:
The dance is good, but a little slow for Rock Week. It’s well done, but feels like it should be a little faster paced. Val looks good in leather.
Judge’s comments:
Len: Be still my beating heart. This dance suited her bubbly personality. Overall she did a great job.
Bruno: She did a lap dance for him and he likes it when she’s mean and moody. Great attitude, but she needed to be a bit sharper.
Carrie Ann: It was good, but it was lacking her normal exuberance. Her face was expressionless. She needed to be more intense and there was no sparkle.
Scores:
Carrie Ann Inaba: 7
Len Goodman: 7
Bruno Tonioli: 7
Total: 21/30

DWTS’ William Levy Has Nude Photos Online
by Jessica LeFevre on Mar.28, 2012, under articles

This might surprise some fans of Dancing With The Stars, but hunky telanovela star William Levy has some nude photos online!
He has already been no stranger to shaking his money maker on the dance floor, but we’ve learned that there are some super racy photos floating around on the internet of William.
The show’s co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet said, “I can tell you there was silence in the ballroom when William danced. I have never seen an audience react like that ever. You know his shirt will come off at some point.”
There are definitely perks to hosting DWTS!
An insider at the alphabet network said, “Of course the producers knew the pictures existed. It’s not like he was involved in a crime or made X-rated porn. He was a model. They are probably happy that this year, without any reality star train wrecks, William is giving the show buzz. Plus, I guarantee you lots of people will be tuning in again this week to see exactly who this William Levy is.”
We’re not going to publish the racy photos, because we’re a classy organization. But — in order to see them, all you have to do is a simple Google image search and BAM! Enjoy!
Martina Navratilova Reacts To Dancing With The Stars Elimination
by Megan Lindsey on Mar.28, 2012, under articles

Tennis player Martina Navratilova has become the first celebrity to get eliminated on the fourteenth season of Dancing With The Stars. This week and last, she received the lowest total of judge’s scores combined. After receiving the lowest amount of viewers’ votes, she was eliminated on Tuesday night’s results show.
Speaking of her short-lived stint on the dancing competition, she said, “It was an amazing experience. I just wish it had lasted longer. I gave it everything I had but I blew it yesterday [Tuesday] and it cost me.”
She went on to wish the other remaining contestants “great luck” with their attempts to win the mirror ball trophy. She was next to singer Gavin DeGraw in the bottom two, right before she was eliminated on the show. He told her, “It was an honor to be on this stage with you.”
It sounds like she was really expecting to get the boot so early on. Don’t you think? She put on a good show, but it was just her time to go.
Did you think the viewers made the right choice in eliminating Martina so quickly?

2012 Dancing With The Stars Season 14 Cast Rumors
by Jeffrey Noble on Feb.17, 2012, under articles

Just before the release of the Dancing With The Stars Season 14 cast, the rumors are flying — and some of them are unbelievable!
The co-host of The View, Sherri Shepherd, was rumored to be on Dancing With The Stars. There are athletes under consideration including Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow and Victor Cruz. Taylor Armstrong from the show Real Housewives and Jenny “JWoww” Farley from Jersey Shore are also rumored to be on the cast. Reality actors are almost always a good guess. Regis Philbin might be on the show. They always welcome elderly people to be on the show and we think he’d be a great addition. What else is he doing? Surely he could last for a couple of shows?
The country cook Paula Deen recently revealed that she has had Type 2 Diabetes for years. The dancing could be good for her so it’s a good guess that she will be on the show. The most eccentric rumors say that the former Presidential candidates Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann have already been tapped to appear on the show. Ugh.
An other rumor suggests that country singer Dolly Parton will also be appearing. We would definitely love to see her on the show as opposed to anything to do with Perez Hilton. Ugh.
These are only rumors though. The actual reveal of the legit list cast members will be revealed on Good Morning America on Feb. 28. The season premieres in on March 19, 2012.
What do you think? Are any of these rumors true? Who would you like to see on the show?
2012 Dancing With The Stars Season 14 Casting Rumors
by Jed Eckert on Feb.06, 2012, under articles

The fourteenth season of Dancing With The Stars is right around the corner! The official casting announcement will be made on February 28, 2012, but we have got a list of folks who have already been asked to join the dancing competition. Who do you want to see on the list?
None of the celebrities or quasi-celebrities (in Perez Hilton’s case) have confirmed their appearance on the show, but here’s a list of those who have been offered a spot on the show:
Kylie & Kendall Jenner – Bruce and Kris Jenner’s teenage daughters. Could you imagine either one of them sexy dancing with Mark or Maks? Us neither.
Taylor Armstrong – Star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her husband killed himself and now you will, too, if those gigantic lips grace the screen during primetime. Too soon?
Perez Hilton – Celebrity gossip blogger. Wanna-be celebrity. If they bring this loud mouth onto the show, we will NOT watch. EVER.
Regis Philbin – Former morning TV host. Everybody loves Reeg. He would be the token old dude. Not necessarily a bad casting decision.
Tim Tebow – Denver Broncos quarterback. We would like to see him on the show, only because he was said to have dissed Kim Kardashian. We can appreciate that.
Sherri Shepherd – ABC talk show host. Figures. Not exactly a strong personality.
Who do you think they should get to do the show this season? Who don’t you want to see take the stage to dance for the mirror ball trophy? Let us know in the comments.
Dancing With The Stars Grand Finale Recap – Who Won The Mirror Ball Trophy?
by Jessica LeFevre on Nov.22, 2011, under articles

Last night on the performance episode of Dancing With The Stars, Rob Kardashian, J.R. Martinez and Ricki Lake brought it with their dances. Each proved why they were in the top three in the competition. You can view all of the performance videos at this link and read our recap here. Tonight, only one will emerge as the winner of the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy!
Before the show, we conducted a poll to ask fans who should walk away with the show’s prize. Unsurprisingly, 53% said that J.R. should win, while 30% voted that Rob would win and the remaining 17% thought that Ricki would win the competition.
Tonight, the top three will perform their favorite dances from the season. Rob and Cheryl will perform their Foxtrot to Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra. Ricki and Derek will perform their favorite dance which was their Psycho Tango. J.R. and Karina will do their first Jive to Jump, Jive And Wail by The Brian Setzer Orchestra. We’ll be covering all of the performance videos at this handy link, so check them out after the show starts!
It’s a close competition this season and it’s hard to say who will win. So stay tuned, as we’ll be recapping the Grand Finale tonight — Live. Also, performing on tonight’s show is Lady Antebellum!
Can Rob pull it out of his hat and win it? Perhaps. But his sister Kim has said that she’s super proud of her brother. She came out in support of him on last night’s show.
IT’S GO TIME — ARE YOU EXCITED?
Lady Antebellum is kicking off the show with their performance from We Own The Night.
Round Scores:
Ricki & Derek – Psycho Tango – Scores: 30 (1st place)
Rob & Cheryl – Foxtrot – Scores: 26 (3rd place)
J.R. & Karina – Jive – Scores: 28 (2nd place)
FIRST RESULTS:
Ricki and Derek are in third place! That means that Rob and J.R. will be competing in one final dance for the Trophy! Stay tuned, it’s getting good!
J.R. is dancing his Instant Samba first, with Rob going second. They are dancing to Shake Your Bon Bon by Ricky Martin.
As always, they are taking a trip down memory lane with all of the stars and their pro dancers from this season.
Carson Kressley’s Vogue dance was cute, but we’re digging David Arquette’s performance. It’s unfortunate that he was booted off of the competition way before his time. He just tried to run off with the Mirror Ball Trophy….too funny!
J.R. and Karina danced first and it was great! Rob and Cheryl picked right up where they left off and did pretty nicely, as well.
J.R. and Karina: Scores: 10-10-10 = 30/30
Rob and Cheryl: Scores: 10-10-10 = 30/30
Who won the thirteenth season of Dancing With The Stars???? J.R. MARTINEZ & KARINA SMIRNOFF!
