Singer turned fashion mogul Jessica Simpson is covering the April 2012 issue of Elle magazine nude and pregnant.

Now, Jessica is talking to the magazine about her hopes that their daughter will be a fashion maven just like her mother. She said, “I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!”

Her first child with Eric Johnson is due this spring and she looks like she is about ready to pop!

She went on to say, “Eric is so athletic – we’re gonna have this athletic girl and I won’t even be able to take her shopping ’cause all she’s gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!”

Is she really that concerned that she won’t be able to fork over $800+ on a pair of shoes for her daughter?!? If she really wants to partake in spending some dough on fancy shoes, I wear a size 9. Hook me up, Jess. We can go shopping whenever you’re ready if you want to get that girlie shopping experience out of the way.

She says that they have already chosen a name for their new addition and it’s nontraditional. She said, “We’re sure. It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it, they’ll know…why.”

Is it Nicki? I hope it’s Nicki! What do you think they’re naming their daughter?

Just yesterday, we posted Katy Perry’s craptastic Elle magazine cover and now we’re getting some quotes from inside its pages. In the vein of doing anything for the attention, Katy is saying that she has learned to appreciate her boobs.

She said, “When I was a kid, I had enormous boobs that I didn’t know what to do with. I wore minimizers, which were not cute. Those thick-ass straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder.”

That was until someone told her that she could totally use the boobage to become a media darling! Then Shazaam, Katy Hudson died and Katy Perry was born!

She went on to say, “All I wanted was to look like Kate Moss. Little did I know that my breasts would come in handy someday.”

When speaking of her husband, Russell Brand, she said, “Everything clicked really fast. We kind of instantly got past all the surfacey stuff. And ever since then, there hasn’t been a dull moment.”

She also revealed that she wants kids with that idiot. She added, “I want to have kids! I’m totally fine with saying that. I think some people are…worried it’s going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life.”

Katy Perry is featured on the front cover of the March 2010 issue of Elle magazine. She looks a little dull here, doesn’t she?

In recent events, she’s seen showing off her goody parts for the entire world, but this cover seems more demure.

The “Teenage Dream” chanteuse graces the March 2011 cover of venerable fashion magazine Elle, showing lots of color (and cleavage) in a green, blue and purple ensemble, accessorized by a gold-tassel belt. Quite the vibrant splash to get the spring season started.
