I had no idea that John Mayer was such a fan of “The Bachelor”, but apparently that’s how he’s been spending his free time. During a recent appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, John revealed that he is absolutely obsessed with the reality show. After a friend nudged him to follow the show and give it a chance, he said that he caved in and began watching as Brad Womack tried to find love.

He said, “I don’t even feel like it’s my fault for liking it. It’s not a guilty pleasure. It’s designed to be a pleasure. It’s like a producer’s game. I wouldn’t be as excited to meet a cast member as I’d be to meet the guy who cuts that show. They have to ask someone like Ben like, ‘Okay, Ben, we need you to walk out on the balcony without a shirt and just think.’”

After doing an impression of Ben Flajnik, Ellen asked his opinion on the last season’s winner, Courtney Robertson. He said, “There was nothing you could say to Ben to not pick Courtney. Girls were coming up to him, like, ‘I watched Courtney rip somebody’s face off.’ And he’d go, ‘I’ll take that under consideration.’”

Ellen asked, “What if they come to you and say, ‘Would you be the Bachelor?’” He responded, “It’s one of those things where I would waste their time taking a meeting, just so I could hear more about it. Ultimately I’d say no. But I would just have to take the meeting.”

Right after learning that Whitney Houston had died, her former husband Bobby Brown took to the stage to perform for his fans. Now, in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, he has defended his decision to perform that day. He said that the only reason that he still performed because it’s what Whitney would have wanted.

He was scheduled to perform at the Landers Center in Mississippi on February 11th, but refused to cancel the show in order to grieve for Whitney. He was scrutinized by Whitney’s fans for continuing on with the show, despite her untimely passing on the same day.

In a new interview with Ellen on Wednesday, he said that he tried his best to get to Los Angeles the day of Whitney’s death, but performed instead out of respect for the iconic singer. He said, “I was in Mississippi performing and I got the call. Of course, I tried to get a flight. Tried to rent a jet. Whatever I had to do, but it was impossible. So I knew the best thing that she would want me to do was perform.”

He went on to say, “You know, we are performers. That’s what we did. That’s what we do. And she would want the best for me.”

The ever hilarious Ellen DeGeneres tried to read the new S&M novel by E.L. James, Fifty Shades Of Grey — supposedly for the audio book. This is something that really needs to happen, because the book is begging for her comedic side to bring it to life. Don’t you think?

She begins reading the book, then stops and says, “I’m not going to read that!” After opening the book again, she stops and asks if it’s okay that she paraphrases. Ha.

Jennifer Love Hewitt appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote the new season of her show The Client List. During her appearance, she revealed that she’s been harboring a crush on The Voice judge Adam Levine.

After Adam went radio silent, J-Love went on a radio show and said that she should write Adam an apology letter on Twitter. Since, he has appeared on Ellen’s show and has spoken out about J-Love’s crush. He basically said thanks, but no thanks when Ellen offered to hook them up.

Now, Jennifer is talking about the crush AGAIN. She took to her official Twitter account an hour ago to discuss Adam’s graciousness about her revealing crush.

She tweeted, “The moment when you make a comment about something or someone and the world makes you feel like a total fool #keepcrushesquiet”.

She went on to say, “Am I dating? Am I crushing? No! I’m directing The Client List season finale!;)”

Afterward, she thanked Adam for being a class act during his appearance on the talk show. She tweeted, “Thank you to @adamlevine for being so gracious on Ellen about my crush heard round the world. I’ve learned a lesson. #Sssh”.

A couple of weeks back, Jennifer Love Hewitt appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her show The Client List when she told Ellen that she would look cute with Adam Levine.

Following her split from Jarod Einsohn last month, she talked to Ellen about how she had her eye on Adam since his split from Anne Vyalitsyna. And after she seemingly made a huge fuss about it, saying that she should apologize to him on Twitter — he is finally acknowledging her flirty comments.

He appeared on Ellen’s show and said that it is always nice when a pretty chick thinks you’re hot. Well he didn’t exactly say that, but that’s the gist. He said, “It was really sweet and flattering. Beautiful life, you know, when a beautiful woman says nice things about you.”

When Ellen offered to play cupid for Adam and Jennifer, he responded, “I’m cool.”

That’s “hot guy talk” for “thanks — but I only date models.”

Last week, Jennifer Love Hewitt revealed her celebrity crush — Adam Levine. Since, there was radio silence from The Voice judge. Until now, that is.

Jennifer appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ TV show where she said that Adam is hot and newly single. She held up a picture of him and said that they would be cute together.

Access Hollywood talked to Adam after Tuesday’s episode of The Voice where he spoke about Jennifer’s suggestion that they would make a cute couple. He said, “It’s very, very flattering. It’s very flattering and very sweet and it was lovely to hear. But I’m not going to let it get to my head.”

Interesting. So he’s flattered by her, but obviously isn’t interested. He has just gotten dumped by his girlfriend of two years, Anne Vyalitsyna, so perhaps he’s not ready to dive back into anything with someone? Is the timing all wrong for a Jennifer Love Hewitt and Adam Levine pairing? Possibly. Perhaps he just needs time to heal after his breakup?

After revealing her crush to Ellen, Jennifer went on a Texas radio show and talked some more about it. She told the show’s host, “Everybody is talking about it and Adam Levine will probably never speak to me. I feel like I should write him an apology letter on Twitter or something just to say I’m so sorry.”

Perhaps he’s not ready to jump into a relationship with someone who has three pre-selected wedding rings and would have their children named before breakfast? Just a thought.

It seems that any time a super attractive celebrity man comes out of the woodwork to say that they’re single, Jennifer Love Hewitt is lurking in the shadows with her pre-selected engagement rings and her best Herve Leger wrap dress. So it really wasn’t any different when it was announced earlier this month that Adam Levine had split up with his girlfriend of two years, Anne Vyalitsyna.

Later, on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, J-Love publicizes her single life and talks about how she would like to date Adam. Poor thing has never uttered the word “subtlety”, has she?

Ellen: Are you in a relationship, right now?

Jennifer: I am not. I am very single.

Ellen: You’re very single. Is that good, very single?

Jennifer: It’s good. Yes, it is. It’s good.

Ellen: Do you have you’re eye on anybody?

Jennifer: Well, yeah, I always have my eyes out… I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again…I’m just saying.

Jennifer: Look, we would be cute…(photo of Adam). His haircut is hot.

Cute, right? Or perhaps a bit stalkerish? Still, we can’t say that we would blame her for trying to stake her claim on Adam. He’s hot, works on a hit television show and sings for Maroon 5. Clearly, no woman could go wrong trying to date this man. Obviously, and sadly enough for J-Love is the fact that he is so out of her league that it’s not even funny.

A heavily pregnant Jessica Simpson appears on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She looks like she’s about ready to pop any minute. It’s a good thing for her that Ellen opted to have a paramedic on the set of the show — just in case!

Imagine the ratings bonanza if Jessica went into labor during the taping. Still, Jessica said that her due date is still weeks away. Why is Jessica still sporting those insanely high heels even this late in her pregnancy?!? That’s what we want to know. She addresses that on the show, as well, joking that she should be “ticketed” for it. At least while she’s home she wears flip-flops…we can’t blame her there.

Jessica is doing the media rounds to promote her new fashion show, Fashion Star. The new reality show makes its series premiere tonight at 9:30PM. Jessica reveals that she is expecting a daughter with her football playing fiance Eric Johnson. Jessica told Ellen that she and Eric have already selected a name for their new addition, but declined to reveal what it is.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

After the hometown dates on The Bachelor, Ben Flajnik eliminated Kacie Boguskie. Ben went to Kacie’s hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee and learned that her parents were religious and her father doesn’t drink. He didn’t feel as if he got their approval, so he sent her home. If you’ve missed that episode, read the recap here.

On Monday’s episode of the show, Kacie went to Switzerland to ask Ben what actually happened that led to his elimination of her from the previous week. She also warned Ben about how Courtney Robertson really is, prompting him to fake contemplation about his future with her.

Kacie appeared on today’s episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about the show. She told Ellen that Ben really did break her heart. Ellen asks her if she thinks Courtney is really that manipulative and she says yes. Editing only goes so far and the producers can’t edit the actual words that came out of her mouth.

She said that she was shocked to learn that Ben and Courtney went skinny-dipping in Puerto Rico and her “jaw dropped” when she found that out.

Ellen asked Kacie if Ben picks Courtney and she said that she thinks he does. Afterward, they played a clip from the upcoming Women Tell All special, in which all of the women gang up on Courtney. Casey S. tried to defend Courtney, claiming that she wasn’t the only one bad-mouthing the other ladies. But that was debunked when one of the ladies asks why they are all friends except for Courtney.

Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, talked to Ellen DeGeneres for a new interview, where she talks about the advice that her father gave her. The advice was simple and to the point: Always remember.

She told Ellen, “He said, ‘If I die tomorrow, always remember what I told you.’ I took his advice, and I remembered everything he told me.”

Paris is currently starring in her first movie, and said that her father shaped a lot of her life, including her decision to get into acting.

She revealed, “My dad was in the movie Moonwalker, and I knew he could sing really well but I didn’t know he could act. I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him.’ We would do improv together. He would give us little scenarios. He would go, ‘Okay, in this scene you’re going to cry’, and I’d cry on the spot.”

When Paris was younger, her famous father had her face shrouded with a mask. She said, “I’m like, ‘This is stupid, why am I wearing a mask?’ But I kind of realized the older I got, like, he only tried to protect us. And he’d explain that to us, too.”

She added, “I’m treated the same. When I came to school, they didn’t know who I was. I was like, yes, I have a chance to be normal.”

Lindsay Lohan is gearing up to debut her nude photo spread from Playboy for the Ellen DeGeneres Show!

She appears nude on the January/February cover of the men’s publication and has chosen Ellen’s show as a vehicle to promote the “classy photos”. She’s reportedly giving Ellen the first sneak peek on an upcoming episode of her show.

A rep for Playboy said, “Lindsay has agreed to do one media interview during the on-sale period of her issue, and has chosen Ellen. Lindsay will not be doing any additional interviews to promote her pictorial.”

Hugh Hefner even touted the photos as a “classic tribute” to Marilyn Monroe, someone whom Lindsay has referred to as her idol. Hef said, “It’s a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate in the very first issue of Playboy. Oh, yes, she’s naked. And classy, very classy.”

Country singer Taylor Swift appears on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is set to air today, and talked to her about her personal life. Taylor made it loud and clear: she’s not seeing anyone at the moment.

She’s been linked to Joe Jonas and Jake Gyllenhaal, but currently there is no one special in her life. Taylor is promoting her new scent, Wonderstruck, on the show.

Of the fragrance, Ellen asked, “Does your boyfriend like the way it smells?”

Taylor replied, “I don’t have one! I keep telling you that…I just don’t. I, for real, don’t have a boyfriend. I sit by myself and I watch Law & Order.”

She went on to say, “I don’t have a boyfriend — I don’t even have like kind of a boyfriend – I don’t have someone that I’m texting that is a guy that someday might be my boyfriend. There’s nothing going on right now!”

Ellen joked, “That’s pathetic.”

Taylor added, “I want to be the girl that when she falls in love, it’s a big deal and it’s a rare thing.”

Disney starlet Demi Lovato has really come a long way since quitting the Jonas Brothers tour last year and checking herself into rehab.

Now, she says that she wants to be a role model. In a new interview with Ellen DeGeneres, which is set to air on Tuesday, Demi said, “There was nobody out there for me to look at and say maybe this is unhealthy.”

She went on to say, “I want to be that for a 13-year old girl at home deciding whether or not to eat dinner, or an 18-year-old girl deciding whether or not to keep her breakfast down.”

She also discussed finishing treatment, saying, “It was the time in the tabloids when very, very skinny girls were on the cover of every magazine, and that’s what I was looking up to. That’s what I had to idolize. I don’t want that for young girls to idolize.”

She went on to say, “So many things were going great in my life, and then all of a sudden my personal life just went down at crazy speeds. I had a negative breakdown and it changed my life forever.”

She added, “But if I hadn’t gone into treatment. I know know if, one, I’d even be sitting here today, or two, if I’d be alive today.”

Kudos to Demi Lovato for changing her life around!

Breaking Dawn actor Robert Pattinson revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that he was once suspended from school! What makes matters worse is that it was all because of a good deed that he’d done! Go figure!

He said, “Everyone used to chuck snails at each other at school and I used to try and save them. And not only did I get in trouble for it, I got suspended for doing it. For saving the snails. I kept about four or five hundred of them at the back of the class – in Snail Land.”

He continued, “We were like six or seven or something, people didn’t even realize what they were doing. I had a strange compassion for snails. And the teacher just chucked them all in the trash in the end.”

That sucks!

Breaking Dawn actor Robert Pattinson appears on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and what did they talk about??? Underwear, of course!

Rob was filming a scene for Water For Elephants and was down to his last pair of underwear, which happened to be the pair that Ellen gave him.

He said, “I only had one pair left and they were ‘those ones’. We were doing this big fight scene and for some reason I think the shape of my body, my back is too long or something. So my a** is constantly hanging out!”

He went on to reveal, “Every single shot we were doing this big fight and every shot has these Ellen underpants. It came to a point where producers are calling up my agent going, ‘I don’t know what he is up to, but I don’t like it!’”

Kim Cattrall starred as seductress Samantha Jones in the Sex And The City franchise and says that her alter ego might be putting men off.

She’s 54 and in the market for finding Mr. Right, but says Samantha has caused a bit of a problem for her. In a recent interview, she talked with Ellen DeGeneres about the subject.

She talked about her quest to find a man, saying, “It’s very difficult.” Ellen replied, “I would think that it would be difficult, that men would be intimidated.”

To that, Kim said, “A little bit. Yeah. Writing a book about the female orgasm didn’t help my dating career either! Men like to think that they know it all, especially in that department.”

Selena Gomez wasn’t able to pull the wool over Ellen DeGeneres’ eyes about her relationship with Justin Bieber!

In a previous interview, Selena referred to Justin as her little brother, but Ellen sniffed her out. She called Selena on the comment after she appeared with the teen singer at the Vanity Fair Oscars party recently.

She backed Selena into a corner, causing her to blush on the show. On Tuesday, the Disney starlet tweeted, “Haha Ellen got me SO good today, what a difference one visit makes ;) She’s the best!”

Back when Selena Gomez appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show last September, she claimed that Justin Bieber was like her little brother, but she came back to the show today — to Ellen’s teasing!

Ellen asked her, “He’s like your little brother? What do you have to say now?”

Selena responded, “I don’t know. I don’t know.” Ellen replied, “Well…. you were trying to hide it still, right? But now you’ve made it public. You went to the Vanity Fair party and made me a fool.”

Selena answered, “No, I really didn’t.” Ellen said, “Yes, you did!”

Selena came back with, “I promise you, I didn’t. He’s just sweet.”

Ellen said, “He is. He’s as sweet as can be. But he’s not like your little brother, is he? No, he’s not. And he’s a fantastic guy. You can’t try to hide that forever. I know you all were sneaking around but that’s crazy. You’re both huge stars, and you can’t hide from us.”

Selena went on to say, “I didn’t lie to you. I didn’t, though. I’ll say that.”

Ellen said, “No, you didn’t blatantly lie. A little brother is not someone you want to date.” Selena said, “Well, no. That would be weird.”

Ellen added, “That would be wrong and weird in so many ways.”

To conclude the interview, Ellen gave Selena a pillow with Justin Bieber’s face on it. How cute!

Justin Bieber dropped by Ellen DeGeneres’ TV show earlier to drop off a lock of hair that he’d promised her. The talk show host has placed the hair on eBay to benefit The Gentle Barn.

The Gentle Barn Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1999 as a safe haven and place of recovery for abused farm animals and children. We are home to over 120 rescued animals and we are host to at-risk, inner-city and special needs kids.

The auction has already received 32 bids at the time of this writing and is at $1,125. She tweeted about the auction, saying, “My @JustinBieber hair has been up on ebay for an hour and it’s already at $10,000!”

Country singer Brad Paisley has encouraged families to keep the music alive by giving children musical instruments this year. He said that he remembered the most important gift he’d ever received, a guitar from his grandfather.

He said, “He just wanted me to play and wrapped up one of his.” He added, “I hope there’s kids out there getting guitars for Christmas or any instrument for that matter. Nothing changed my life like that Christmas gift when I was eight from my grandfather.”

TV actress AnnaLynne McCord is spending her Christmas this year with her sister in Cambodia. They are there to help raise awareness of sex slavery in the country. AnnaLynne tweeted, “Taking off to Cambodia with Angel McCord and 1 of my BFFs, Melissa H. to spend Christmas with @somalymam [Somaly Mam Foundation] and bring Christmas 2 her girls!”

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and Brittny Gastineau teamed up to pass out gifts to sick kids in the hospital. Toy supplier Hobby Tron donated toys for the occasion. Kim tweeted, “Heading to the LA Children’s Hospital to give out toys! Thank u Hobby Tron for the amazing donation! 500 toys! Wow. Today was a heart warming day!”

Justin Bieber wrapped up his U.S. tour on Thursday and parked his tour bus outside of the Atlanta, Georgia venue and asked fans to donate toys and games for sick kids at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Center. He joined up with local radio station Q100 to create the Stuff Bieber’s Bus campaign.

He said, “I have such a big platform, it would be silly if I didn’t do something positive with it. I got contacted by their radio station…and they asked us if we wanted to be involved…and it was just something I thought would be really cool.”

Not leaving out the nation’s stray pets, Ellen DeGeneres has teamed up with dog food company Halo to deliver one million meals to unwanted dogs.

She said, “At Halo we want to promote healthy living for pets and good food is a big part of that. So, we agreed to donate one million meals of Halo to shelter pets. I mean, imagine, an animal, in a cage, lonely – a good meal is kinda all they have to look forward to, until you adopt them!”

Kudos to all of them for making a difference this holiday season!

Taylor Swift is hooking up with Jake Gyllenhaal, as proven by pictures of the twosome floating around the internet, on a date. Last weekend, they went on a date apple picking and Jake picked up the $3.00 tab.

Taylor is set to appear on the Monday, November 1st episode of the Ellen DeGeneres Show where she is promoting her new album, Speak Now. When asked by Ellen if she is optimistic about love right now, she added, “Especially if your boyfriend is Jake Gyllenhaal because he is very handsome. Y’all are just hanging out though right?”

Taylor responded, “You have a picture of us on the screen don’t you?”

Lady Gaga had heads turning on Sunday night as she graced the MTV Video Music Awards stage to accept an award. Known mostly for her outlandish style and crazy antics, Sunday night was no different. You see, Gaga was wearing a dress comprised of nothing but real, raw meat. I love her music, but that is just gross.

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Gaga attempted to take the mystery away from the maggot friendly ensemble. She said, “It’s certainly no disrespect to anyone that’s vegan or vegetarian. As you know I’m the most judgment-free human being on the Earth. It has many interpretations, but for me this evening it’s if we don’t stand up for what we believe in, if we don’t fight for our rights, pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones.”

She also added another interpretation, saying that it’s meant to say that she’s “not a piece of meat.”

Her music is great, but I still think that dress was weird, even for her. Don’t you?

Now that Simon Cowell has jumped from the American Idol ship, Ellen DeGeneres was shortly behind. And today, we’ve just learned that Kara DioGuardi has been canned, in favor of Jennifer Lopez. Wha?

And the rumors go on to reveal that the only remaining original judge will be Randy Jackson. He’s said to be joined at the judge’s table by J-Lo and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.
