by Megan Lindsey on May.10, 2013, under articles

By now you might have heard reports that “Vampire Diaries” co-stars and real life couple Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have called it quits. There hasn’t been a reason publicly given as of yet, but we’re wondering if it has something to do with his rumored role as Christian Grey in the upcoming movie adaptation of “Fifty Shades Of Grey”.
Ian has publicly thrown his hat in the ring for the role of the billionaire with a BDSM fetish. The rumors were swirling at that time that the role would cause a rift within their relationship. That would especially be exacerbated by the idea of another woman other than Nina landing the role of Anastasia Steele.
After they’ve been dating for three years, there has to be a reason why they have split up. If it wasn’t the role of a lifetime, then what could it have been? Cheating perhaps? Sound off in the comments below – we want to know what you think of their breakup!
Emma Watson Denies ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Rumors
by Noah Johnson on Mar.18, 2013, under articles

Ever since hearing about the book “Fifty Shades Of Grey” getting made into a movie, we’ve heard countless rumors about who would be playing Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Numerous actors and actresses have been linked to each of the roles, but now we’ve heard that “Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson would be playing Ana.
Not so fast, according to Emma herself, who is now denying all of the reports circulating online that she’s going to be playing Ana. Just recently, the actress shot down the rumors on her official Twitter account. She tweeted, “Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life. Good. Well that’s that sorted then.”
A Universal Pictures spokesperson said, “No one has been cast yet.”
The books’ author, E.L. James took to her Twitter account to say, “There have been no casting decisions made about Fifty Shades.”
We’ve also heard that Emma is currently on the studio’s wish list for the role of Ana, but nothing is concrete as of yet. Stay tuned for the latest, but in the meantime, tell us who you want to see playing the roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of “Fifty Shades Of Grey”?
Mila Kunis To Star As Anastasia Steele In ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’?
by Megan Lindsey on Jan.28, 2013, under articles

There have been a ton of rumors floating around about who will be playing the lead roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of “Fifty Shades Of Grey”. Ian Somerhalder, Alexander Skarsgard, James Deen, Mila Kunis and Alexis Bledel have all been thrown out there as possible contenders for the racy roles.
There was a report making the rounds that Mila said she could have a “good time” with the role of Ana on the big screen, but don’t count her in just yet. “The Sun” said that Mila gave an interview where she expressed her interest in the role because “there are times when you just want to do something fun because you’re going to have a good time doing it.”
According to E!, Mila never even spoke to the tabloid about the casting rumors for the saucy movie.
But don’t pull out your whips and chains just yet, because a source tells E! News that Mila never even gave an interview to The Sun, meaning the quotes have no merit.
Kunis is the latest sexy star to pop up on the Fifty Shades casting couch. Emma Watson is rumored to be the current front-runner for the erotic franchise, and Anna Kendrick and fan favorite Alexis Bledel have also been named as potential hopefuls.
But even though the Sun’s story is false, there’s still a silver lining to the tabloid chatter: Kunis hasn’t denied that she wouldn’t be down for the erotic thriller.
As for an actor who has expressed a desire to star in the raunchy role (besides Ian Somerhalder, that is)?
Porn star and Lindsay Lohan’s Canyons costar James Deen recently told Entertainment Weekly that Christian Grey is a character he “could have a lot of fun with.”

Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie To Be Rated NC-17
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.09, 2013, under articles

In case you hadn’t heard, E.L. James’ book “Fifty Shades Of Grey” is being made into a movie — or three. Well, the screenwriter, Kelly Marcel is now chiming in on the MPAA rating for the racy movie. According to her, the movie will be just as racy as the books and will garner an NC-17 rating from the board.
She revealed in a new interview, “Well, there is going to be a lot of sex in the film. It will be rated NC-17. It’s going to be raunchy.”
She went on to say that some of the sex scenes would be edited out in favor of the plot, but said, “We are 100% going there.” She said, “We did go through and decided which are our favorites and which are not. Most of them are in there, but I can’t say more than that.”
With regard to the male lead in the books, she said, “I just love Christian Grey, I feel….very deeply for him.”
Still, there has been no word released on who will be portraying the rich S&M freak and his submissive girlfriend Anastasia Steele. Who do you think would be a perfect fit for the roles? Did you expect the movie to get anything less than an NC-17 rating? Hit the comments and let us know your thoughts!

by Jessica LeFevre on Sep.18, 2012, under articles

If you’re wondering who will be taking on the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of “Fifty Shades Of Grey”, then you are not alone. The truth of the matter is that even the books’ author, E.L. James doesn’t even know. So it’s not yet cast in stone as far as who will take on the lead roles for the movie, but the author is making a wish list.
She revealed on Katie Couric’s talk show that she does have a short list of actors for the movie roles, but she’s not revealing the names on that list. She said, “I have three people who could play Christian and I think four who could play Anna, and I’m not going to tell you any of them.”
When speaking of creating the books, she said, “All this has been a huge shock to me. When I got the first email asking about the film rights, I nearly fell off my chair; it was a huge Hollywood agency! The books are my fantasy. I wrote them for me, really, and the wonderful thing about doing this is they seem to be other people’s fantasies, so I’m not such a pervert.”
Who do you think is going to make the cut to play Christian and Anastasia?
Ryan Gosling To Play Christian Grey In ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’?
by Jessica LeFevre on Sep.06, 2012, under articles

There is no doubt to Ryan Gosling’s hotness. We swooned when he seduced Allie as Noah in “The Notebook” and chuckled as he fell in love in “Crazy, Stupid, Love”. Now, we might get the chance to see him take on the role of sexy, S&M loving billionaire Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ novel “Fifty Shades Of Grey”.
Reportedly, E.L. James is telling people that Ryan is in talks for the lead role of Christian. The author’s husband Niall Leonard tells “Now” magazine that the “last he head” Ryan was being looked at as the number one choice for the part.
Since the announcement that the books were being adapted to the big screen, a lot of actors’ names have been thrown out there for the role of Christian Grey. Most notably, “Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder has expressed interest in taking the role. He said, “I absolutely would be up for that. Absolutely. That would be a pretty incredible thing. If the latest cover of “Entertainment Weekly” is to be believed then the search for the actor who will play Christian Grey is over. Alas, the magazine reveals that “White Collar” star Matt Bomer is taking on the role of the S&M infatuated billionaire.
Fans pining away for “The Vampire Diaries” star Ian Somerhalder to take on the role must be upset — if this is even remotely true. Could it be?
The answer is….no! According to our sources, the cover of “Entertainment Weekly” showing Matt Bomer playing Christian Grey is a Photoshopped masterpiece. At this stage in the game, the movie execs are still short-listing actors and actresses to take on the lead roles in the movie. No casting decisions have been made.
Now you can sleep at night. Matt Bomer is not playing Christian….yet. We are still waiting with baited breath for the release of the casting list for the movie.
