George & Cindy Anthony Talk About Casey Anthony On Dr. Phil

Casey Anthony’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony talked to Dr. Phil on Tuesday in part one of a two-part interview. The second part of the interview airs tomorrow.

He started off his questioning with whether or not they believe Casey had anything to do with Caylee’s death. George said, “Well, the last one I saw Caylee with was Casey. To me, in my mind, that one and one adds up to two. She’s responsible for Caylee – that’s her daughter.”

When Dr. Phil asks George to elaborate on what his definition of “two” is in that, George said, “Casey and Caylee, when I saw them leave on June 16, 2008, that was the last time I saw them together. And Casey, again, is responsible for Caylee no matter where she was at or what happened.”

Both George and Cindy admitted that Casey had stolen from their wallets and gas cans, but said that perhaps an illness was responsible for what went down. Cindy said, “I want to find out what’s wrong with Casey. I know there’s something wrong. She had a grand mal seizure after she came home the first time.”

She went on to say, “I’m not making justifications for that but there’s a cause for those. You don’t just have a grand mal seizure.”

Dr. Phil suggests that Casey is displaying “behaviors of an unconscionable psychopath”, adding, “As a mental health professional, I’m skeptical. I have not seen any evidence that Casey suffered from post-partum schizophrenia.”

He added, “I feel this mother is desperately reaching for any reason to excuse her daughter for her role in this tragedy.”

Casey Anthony's Parents Claim She Has Seizures?

George and Cindy Anthony are set to appear for their interview with Dr. Phil on September 12, 2011. In that interview, they claimed that they had some new evidence that the courts didn’t hear.

At the end of August, George and Cindy were hyping up their appearance on the show:

Casey Anthony’s parents are finally opening up about what REALLY happened to their granddaughter — revealing NEW information that could have changed the outcome of the case … at least that’s what Dr. Phil wants you to believe.

The good doc has released his first promo for his tell-all interview with George and Cindy Anthony — and though neither one of them utters a word during the 30 second spot … Phil seems pretty excited about some new “information” that he claims America has never heard before.

Now, a source has revealed that they might be claiming that Casey suffers from grand mal seizures and that she could have been incapacitated while her daughter Caylee was drowning in the family’s swimming pool. TMZ has more:

Casey Anthony’s parents reportedly have a brand new theory in the death of their granddaughter — suggesting Casey may have been incapacitated from a seizure while Caylee was drowning in “the swimming pool incident.”

According to FoxNews.com, Cindy and George Anthony revealed their theory to Dr. Phil during their recent sit-down interview.

Cindy reportedly told Phil that Anthony suffered gran mal seizures in 2005 and 2008 — and suggested that the seizures may be symptomatic of a condition that could make it difficult to “sort fact from fiction.”

We think her ability to lie makes it difficult to sort fact from fiction. What do you think?

NBC Nabbed Casey Anthony’s First Post-Jail Interview?

NBC Nabbed Casey Anthony's First Post-Jail Interview?

Accused murderer Casey Anthony has been laying low, after being rumored to be hiding in Carlsbad, California. Reportedly, her lawyer, Jose Baez, has been negotiating with several networks in an attempt to garner the highest bid for her first post-jail interview.

She was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, earlier this month — and since, she’s gone into hiding. Some of the major networks were throwing around offers for her interview — and the latest we’ve heard was an offer for $1.5 million. The networks were even clamoring to get her parents, George and Cindy Anthony, on television for the sum of $250,000 — an offer that they reportedly laughed at.

TMZ’s head honcho, Harvey Levin, took to his official Twitter account to dispense with the rumors that his company had entered into the bidding war. To avoid any confusion, he tweeted, “we reported the bidding for Casey Anthony is >$1.5 mil. they think TMZ bid on her. We did NOT, would NOT and will NOT. I think NBC got her.”

Since ABC has decided that they will no longer offer money in exchange for photo and video licensing for interviews, we figured they would be out of the equation.

Will you watch Casey Anthony profit from her little girl’s murder? Are you boycotting the network? Sound off in the comments! Let the big guys hear your voice!

Update: NBC is denying that they’ve reached out to Casey with such an offer. Surprised? No one wants that kind of backlash, do they?

George & Cindy Anthony Offered $250,000 For An Interview!

George & Cindy Anthony Offered $250,000 For An Interview!

Not only are the networks clamoring for that first post-jail interview of Casey Anthony, they’re also going after her parents — to the tune of $250,000!

We’ve learned that a talk show was laughed at after they put in the $250,000 bid for an interview with George and Cindy Anthony. We’ve also heard reports that Casey has been offered a whopping $1.5 million for her first interview.

ABC News has released a statement, saying that they won’t be paying for photos or video in exchange for interviews, so that means they’re out of the equation. Casey isn’t going to talk for free, and you can guarantee that she won’t allow anyone to ask her any hard-hitting questions.

We hope that Casey won’t stand to profit from her daughter’s death. This is not something that we would want to watch on television. Not unless someone really grills her. She cannot convince the public that she’s innocent of any wrongdoing in regard to Caylee’s death, can she?

Casey Anthony, Jurors & Lawyers Targeted By Death Threats

Casey Anthony, Jurors & Lawyers Targeted By Death Threats

Someone out there is awful upset that Casey Anthony is going to walk free on July 17th. Yes, we’re all upset at what is believed to be the biggest bungle of a not guilty verdict since O.J. Simpson. However, Casey, her attorneys and the jurors that found her not guilty are receiving death threats!

Her attorney, Cheney Mason, has revealed that they all have become the target of death threats, but he’s not really worried. He said that his team has been getting “all kinds of threats” at his office since the verdict was handed down, including one he says “we just turned over to law enforcement.”

Recent reports suggested that Casey’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony, have also been receiving death threats and have gone into hiding. Cheney says that he’s not worried and those who are making the threats are “cowards”.

Yes, there’s outrage at the fact that she’s being released while the entire planet thinks she’s guilty. It’s hard to imagine how she can move on with her life, knowing with certainty what really happened with her daughter. But — that’s no excuse to kill her or anyone else. The jurors were only doing their jobs, too. If the Prosecution would’ve proven their case, it may have been a different story, right?

Casey Anthony’s Parents Respond To Murder Verdict

Casey Anthony's Parents Respond To Murder Verdict

Earlier today, a Seminole, Florida jury gave several verdicts in the Casey Anthony murder trial. She had been accused of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. The verdicts were handed down today, and it was found that she was not guilty of first degree murder or manslaughter. Instead, the jury found her guilty on four counts of providing false information to a police officer, which carries a term of one year in orison for each offense. The clerk seemed to stumble as the verdicts were read and Casey’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony, left the courtroom during the reading.

There is no real closure for this family and so many questions that have been left unanswered. It didn’t seem as if there was any real question about Casey’s guilt or innocence, but the Prosecution in the case failed to prove that Casey was the one who actually murdered her daughter.

Now that the dust is settling, Casey’s parents are speaking out through their attorney. He said, “The family may never know what happened to Caylee Marie Anthony. They now have closure for this chapter of their life. They will now begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.”

He went on to reveal, “Despite the baseless defense chosen by Casey Anthony, the family believes that the jury made a fair decision based on the evidence presented, the testimony presented, the scientific information presented, and the rules that they were given by the Honorable Judge Perry to guide them.”

In the end, Caylee’s grandparents wished for the public to honor their granddaughter’s memory by donating stuffed animals to families in need, religious centers or any other “entity where the toys would be appreciated.”
