Nice. I guess when Lily feels she’s hit the big time, she wants to arrive for a show in style….and so she did.

Apparently the super-producer, Mark Ronson offered jokingly (or so he says) to buy Lily Allen “anything you want, a car, a driver, a helicopter” when she agreed to perform at Glastonbury last year. He says that he was stunned that she called him on it and had her assistant call him with the $10,000 bill.

He says, “She completely took me seriously! And what was I going to say at that point? I had to f**king pay for it. She got the helicopter.”

Hey, I’d say don’t offer a chopper and be stunned when you get the bill. You offered, Mark. You said, “Anything you want”. What else ya got?

Apparently, someone over at NME Magazine gave Mark Ronson’s Glastonbury performance a not-so-nice review. Mark has taken to his Myspace page to say that he’s going to eBay his award from them as it would make a nice doorstop:

He writes, “I got the following email from a journalist at the NME in reference to what I imagine was a scathing review of my Glasto performance (if only I read the mag, I might know what it said….oh well). My NME award for 2008′s best international solo artist will be on eBay as soon as the morons send it to me. I doubt the bidding will go that high and it makes an excellent doorstop.”

I’d buy it.

Mwuhahahaha….

Pete Doherty is getting out of the clink early. He was sentenced to 14 weeks in the slammer for probation violation and drug use, but after serving 28 days of his sentence, he’s being set free.

They’re letting him go early due to prison overcrowding. But his early release means that he’ll be able to play the Glastonbury Festival, as previously planned.

If he was Paris Hilton, he’d have been out after a day.
