Paris Hilton Felt Ambushed On ‘Good Morning America’
by Jessica LeFevre on Jul.23, 2011, under articles

On this episode of the Whiney Rich Heiress™, apparently some reporter asked Paris Hilton something that wasn’t scripted. So, she stormed off of the interview and marched right over to her publicist for an answer to the reporter’s *tough* question. After receiving an answer that didn’t make sense, Paris deemed it was better than what she would’ve said, which is likely, “But — I’m Paris Hilton!”
Paris agreed to give the interview and the questions were supposed to be surrounding her recent stalker. But the interviewer gave us the best minute of reality television ever when he asked Paris about relevence and then compared her to Kim Kardashian.
Dan Harris asked, “Do you worry sometimes that people that have followed in your footsteps like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?”
She replied, “No, not at all.”
Then, he asked the deal breaker, “Do you worry about your moment having passed?”
She got up out of her chair and headed straight for her publicist, because these aren’t the usual puff-interview questions that she was expecting. A source said that the question set her off because a few minutes before that they were discussing how successful her empire is. The source said, “It’s ridiculous that he went on and on about her making a billion dollars, and then asking if she’s relevant. She is upset. She felt ambushed.”
Oh noes. Someone asked her a real question…Whatever shall we do?!???
Rosie O’Donnell defends Chris Brown
by Lydia Harris on Apr.05, 2011, under articles

Chris Brown was interviewed on Good Morning America by Robin Roberts recently, when he threw a temper tantrum in his dressing room and tossed a chair at a window. She went on the record to say that all of the questions that she asked him were pre-approved by Chris himself.
Now, Rosie O’Donnell is defending Chris and is taking aim at Robin!
On her radio show, she said that Chris was treated unfairly during his interview. She revealed, “I don’t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anybody else. I felt mildly angry at Robin Roberts. I felt like writing her and going, ‘Can you take a look at this again and see if maybe you find — in any way — your responsibility in this?’”
She said that she understands how Chris was feeling because she felt the same way during her time on The View. She added, “Part of me wanted to take a chair and throw it through the window at The View…but, you know, there are no windows down there in that rat-infested cellar.”

Rehabbed Disney starlet Demi Lovato is going to be opening up to Good Morning America and 20/20 in a weekand a half in her first post-rehab interview.
Since entering rehab, she has stayed out of the spotlight, only emerging once in an online video to thank fans for their support. Now, she’s ready to speak out about her troubles and what led her to rehab in the first place.
She has already recorded the interview session with ABC’s Robin Roberts and it’s set to air on Good Morning America and 20/20 in about a week and a half. Robin has commented that she was “moved by her honesty” and that Demi is “very open, wonderful”, adding that “she looks great and is very happy.”
Good for her. We do love a success story!
Billy Ray Cyrus says he could’ve been a better dad
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.23, 2011, under articles

Billy Ray Cyrus appeared on Good Morning America earlier today where he talked about his Hannah Montana comments.
He said, “The way they wrote it, Hannah Montana, you know, destroyed my family what I mean to say and I hope I said, was fame, the pressures of fame….fame can be a dangerous animal. And it’s a delicate thing. It’s funny. You know, when you get in this industry and…you strike so hard for that moment.”
He went on to say, “But, fame is dangerous. I did kind of approach being a dad as a friend. I was a great playmate. I mean, for teaching them how to camp and build fires and ride motorcycles and four wheelers, and horses, and all those fun kind of things.”
He added, “I was really good at that. As far as sitting down and doing Algebra and Science, the homework, I wasn’t very good at that. I look back on it and think, ‘You know what?’ Maybe, no doubt, I could have been a better dad.”
ABC calls the police on Chris Brown!
by Jed Eckert on Mar.22, 2011, under articles

After Chris Brown had an epic fit in his dressing room after his Good Morning America interview, he reportedly smashed the window! GMA staffers called in the window repair crew, but not before they called the police!
We were curious how this would play out, considering that he’s on probation for the Rihanna beating incident. TMZ has more:
TMZ obtained audio near the dressing room where Chris allegedly took a chair and smashed a window, sending shards of glass onto 43rd Street. During the conversation between the staffer and a glass repairman, the staffer says “I have a police officer coming just to take a look at it before we do any work.”
Despite the conversation, NYPD sources tell us … none of their officers were dispatched to the scene.
If Chris did indeed smash the window, it probably constitutes at least 2 crimes — vandalism and assault on the passersby below. As a result, the judge in the Rihanna battery case could revoke Chris’ probation and, worst case scenario, he could end up in prison.
Do you think anything is going to come from this??? Let us know in the comments!
Chris Brown’s Good Morning America violence
by Jessica LeFevre on Mar.22, 2011, under articles

Chris Brown went on Good Morning America with the intentions of promoting his new album F.A.M.E. earlier today — but it didn’t exactly go as planned.
He had a fit over the interviewer asking him pre-approved questions about the Rihanna incident. PRE-APPROVED!
He was so angry that he allegedly threw a chair through his dressing room window.
On his way out, he confronted a segment producer and stared him down. After the incident, Chris took to Twitter to say, “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie Sheen and other celebs for there bullsh*t.”
He has since deleted the message, but we have to say SPELL CHECK goes a long way, dude.
I wonder if GMA is going to bring charges against him for destruction of private property. I would imagine his probation could get violated for that if they push the issue. Still, this fool approved the questions, so there is really no excuse for this type of behavior!!!
Adam Lambert talks about AMAs performance – audio
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.24, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert talked to Ryan Seacrest about his racy stage performance at Sunday night’s American Music Awards, along with his subsequent GMA concert cancellation.
When asked about his AMAs performance, Adam said, “It’s choreography, we were dancing. The sexuality of it kind of got a little more extreme when I got up on stage. I think the adrenaline kind of took me over, and I admit it, and I’m proud of the fact that I did get a little carried away. I don’t feel I owe anyone an apology for anything. I performed, it was late night TV, I did something that female performers have been doing for years, no different. It’s just the fact that I’m me and it’s a little different for people. It’s really not that big of a deal.”
He added, “I’m not a babysitter, I’m a performer.”

‘Good Morning America’ cancels Adam Lambert concert
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.24, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert was set to perform a couple of songs of “Good Morning America”, which was slated to air November 25, 2009. The show has pulled the plug on the appearance, after his racy performance at Sunday night’s American Music Awards.
The network said that it received over 1,500 complaints due to the content of the show, after Adam kissed a guy, shoved another’s head into his crotch and diddled a girl.
An ABC spokesperson said, “Given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”
So sad that people won’t just let Adam be Adam. Female entertainers have been doing the same thing for a long time, so why the double standard?
Update: Ryan Seacrest has just tweeted this, “just got off the phone with @adamlambert. He’s not taking @ABC’s decision personally. “they probably have a lot of pressure coming at them”. He’s a good sport, but it’s just silly for them to cancel his performance. Shame on NBC for being so closeminded. This is 2009, not 1889.
