Reality television personality Kim Kardashian took to Twitter earlier to talk about her Grammy Awards experience. She tweeted about Willow Smith, Katy Perry and her Skechers Super Bowl commercial. Because it would be a Kardashian move if there wasn’t any product placement, right?

She said, “What a fun night! Sitting next to Willow Smith! She’s so cute! Katy Perry is now singing Teenage Dream…my fav song!!!” Afterward, she said, “Fun fact- The guy that was in Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream video was also the guy in my Skechers commercial.”

Then, she shared with us her most favorite part of the evening. She added, “My fav part of the night was Gwenyth Paltrow! Her performance with CeeLo was crazy! And her jumpsuit was amaze.”

“Amaze”??? Seriously, if media personalities keep effing up the English language, we’ll have Idiocracy before the year 2013. And what was she doing at the Grammys anyways????? Did the awards shows run out of Media Whore awards this year???

We’ve got some good red carpet photos for you from tonight’s Grammy Awards!

On the red carpet, we got photos of Miley Cyrus, Adam Lambert (above), Justin Bieber, Kim and Rob Kardashian, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes, Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry!

In the Katy photos, she’s seen walking the red carpet with her grandmother, wearing her white angel wings. Justin Bieber sported an all white suit on the red carpet, as well. Rihanna was also there, and she still looked like she wasn’t feeling the greatest. Poor thing!

Despite all of the negative criticism targeted at four-time Grammy Award winning country singer Taylor Swift, her label head, Scott Borchetta, says that she is the “voice of a generation.” Wait, what?

Firstly, while performing on the Grammy stage, she sang terribly off-key and I think she received more awards than she deserved. Her performance alongside legend Stevie Nicks was just unbearable. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who felt that way. (continue reading…)

The late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is set to be honored at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards with a Lifetime Achievement Grammy.

His career spanned an entire four decades, with the recording academy President Neil Portnow insisting he has contributed “the most distinguished and influential recordings.”

Also receiving a Lifetime Achievement Grammy will be Leonard Cohen. Portnow added, “Their outstanding accomplishments and passion for their craft have created a timeless legacy that has positively affected multiple generations, and will continue to influence generations to come.”

The ceremony is being held in Los Angeles on January 31, 2010.

There’s no sugar-coating what Chris Brown did to Rihanna right before the Grammy Awards last month, and there’s absolutely no excuse for that type of behavior. I know there’s been some Chris Brown fans saying that she “had it coming” for snatching his keys and throwing them out of the window, but I have to strongly disagree.

So much, in fact, that if a man did to me what he did to her, I’d say he’d have to sleep with one eye open. But, Rihanna’s father is going to support her, no matter what. While I can’t knock that too much, because you always don’t know the whole story and you want your parents to support your decisions in life, I’d say Ronald Fenty needs his head examined on this one.

He says he’s behind “whatever road she takes”, even after previously saying that they had broken up and he was pleased with that.

Ronald says, “I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I’m behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that’s the road she wants to choose, I’m behind her. I hope to see her soon. I talked to her after her birthday, and she told me she’s okay.”

The 2009 Grammy Awards were in full effect tonight and U2 opened the show with their new song, “Get On Your Boots”.

Whitney Houston was on stage to present the Best R&B Album Award. She looked good and thanked “visionary”, Clive Davis.

Best R&B Album – Jennifer Hudson

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was on stage, acting like a dork, talking about Katy Perry’s song, “I Kissed A Girl”. He also told us of all of the people who would be performing tonight. The Rock is no comedian and he told a joke that really fell flat in Katy’s face.

Justin Timberlake took the stage and discussed Al Green’s music. Everyone is trying to be a comedian tonight and it’s not going over well. He introduced Boys 2 Men, Keith Urban, and Al Green, who all performed together, along with Justin. This performance is good, but the audio seems rather poor quality.

It’s been confirmed that Jennifer Hudson will be performing at the Grammys on February 8th. She was nominated for four Grammys for her self-titled debut album.

This will be Jennifer’s second appearance in the spotlight since the murders of her mother, brother, and nephew. She’s also slated to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on February 1st, in Tampa, Florida.

Take your time, Jennifer, the world will wait until you’re ready.
