Miley Cyrus Was Bored As Hannah Montana

Disney starlet Miley Cyrus has revealed that she was so bored playing her alter-ego, Hannah Montana, and she’s relieved to be moving on with her life.

The show made her a household name, but she said that she felt stifled by her repetitive filming schedule, along with having to be on her best behavior at all times.

In her interview with Prestige magazine, she said, “I miss the family vibe, but I don’t miss the routine at all. I was so bored doing the same thing every day. It’s a lot easier, not being on a show, to live my life a little bit and do some of the other things that I want to do. I don’t have to be back at a certain time. You’re not worrying about a cast schedule or what the producers are going to think.”

She went on to reveal that she fears that she’s been typecast forever as Hannah and says that she wouldn’t exactly encourage her little sister, Noah, to follow the same path.

She added, “My little sister, who’s eleven, wants to go into acting. I just say, ‘Just wait, dude, because the way you’re going to be when you’re my age and the way you are right now are so different. Don’t put yourself in a situation where people are going to think of you as only one thing. You’re going to change a lot. It interferes with your growing up if you’re not strong enough and you’re not sure who you want to be. I’m glad I’m not a character any more and able to be me.”

Billy Ray Cyrus says he could’ve been a better dad

Billy Ray Cyrus says he could've been a better dad

Billy Ray Cyrus appeared on Good Morning America earlier today where he talked about his Hannah Montana comments.

He said, “The way they wrote it, Hannah Montana, you know, destroyed my family what I mean to say and I hope I said, was fame, the pressures of fame….fame can be a dangerous animal. And it’s a delicate thing. It’s funny. You know, when you get in this industry and…you strike so hard for that moment.”

He went on to say, “But, fame is dangerous. I did kind of approach being a dad as a friend. I was a great playmate. I mean, for teaching them how to camp and build fires and ride motorcycles and four wheelers, and horses, and all those fun kind of things.”

He added, “I was really good at that. As far as sitting down and doing Algebra and Science, the homework, I wasn’t very good at that. I look back on it and think, ‘You know what?’ Maybe, no doubt, I could have been a better dad.”

Miley Cyrus will knock a paparazzo out!

Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus isn’t messing around when it comes to the paparazzi messing with her family!

Twice now, Miley has busted a cap on the snappers! A few days ago, one photographer quickly brushed by Miley’s mother Tish, leading Miley into an altercation. Even more recent, Miley had to lay the smackdown again as she left her gym in West Hollywood, when a videographer got a little too close for comfort.

She’s not messing around! Reportedly, Miley lunged at the photographer and tried to grab his camera!

If you’re wondering why Miley isn’t answering charges of beating up these photographers, it’s probably because no one wants to come forward, like a wimp, telling everyone that they got beat up by Hannah Montana.

Jealous Billy Ray Cyrus tried stealing spotlight from Miley

Jealous Billy Ray Cyrus tried stealing spotlight from Miley

Disney show Hannah Montana made the name Miley Cyrus a household name, but rumor has it that her father Billy Ray was completely jealous of her!

Billy Ray gave an interesting interview to GQ recently where he said that he was scared for her. According to reports, the mulletted one had an ulterior motive for talking about her to the media.

An inside snitch said that Billy Ray “totally pushed Miley into being a star!”

Another source said it was all because of the green-eyed monster, jealous. The source said, “He was always upset he didn’t get as much attention as Miley. This is his way of stealing the spotlight.”

Billy Ray also said in that GQ spot that he never profited from his daughter, but another insider is calling BS on that claim. The snitch said, “Let’s face it: Hannah Montana revived his career as much as it made Miley’s.”

Do you think Billy Ray is jealous of Miley???

Miley Cyrus talks about Hannah Montana

by on Jul.22, 2010, under articles

Miley Cyrus says that she’s outgrown her alter-ego Hannah Montana. In a new interview, she says she has done a lot of growing, but it’s hard when the character can only grow so much.

She said, “I’ll be 18 this year. Definitely you do a lot of growing, and that’s hard to do on a show that does have a lot of restrictions as well. Because there are things we want to do that involve growing up, but then what? Once you put them in college, it’s like, ‘Okay. Then Hannah Montana does what?’ So, it’s kind of hard to keep it going when there’s only really so much you can do with the character than can only grow so much.”

As for playing Hannah, she said, “I think it’d be easier if it was someone that was a little bit older, but it’s hard to still start a show at eleven and let it grow, but still appropriately, as you’re growing.”

Her father, Billy Ray chimed in, adding, “For Miley, myself, the cast, the crew, everyone — it’s just the right time to end this chapter and begin a new one. Miley as a singer and a songwriter, she knows where she wants to go… I think she’ll always be growing as an artist.”

Miley Cyrus talks about the end of Hannah Montana

by on Jul.14, 2010, under articles

In this interview with Miley Cyrus she talks about the end of the long-running show Hannah Montana. The reporter asks, “Are you excited or sad for the show to end?”

Miley responded:

“I’m really looking forward to it. It’s exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. Right after this I go into an independent film called LOL with Demi Moore. With Hannah, I’ve been so attached for so long. It is so commercial and so franchised and done for such a big market. I’m going off that type of show into a film that is an indie movie. There isn’t a huge distributor behind it. I’ll be making a film that we think is going to touch people. It’s got a lot of edginess to it and it’s definitely not just for the fan base of Hannah Montana. So that’s both exciting and nerve-wracking. You never know how people are going react to that. But you’ve just got to choose things that you really like and that are right for you at the time.”

I’m excited that this show is over, too. Now I don’t have to have that crap on my TV. And as for the “film” your making, PLEASE DON’T! Spare us all from your retarded bullcrap. You brainwashed my little sister. (YOU SUCK)

I wonder what criminal act she’ll get caught with first? Drug possession, public nudity, or DUI (my bet is on the DUI).

Hannah Montana doll drops the F-bomb?

by on Dec.03, 2009, under articles

cussing-hannah-montana-dollParents are up in arms over the new Hannah Montana doll and say that some of the words could be misconstrued by younger kids.

One parent heard her daughter singing a song which contained the F-word and asked where she’d heard it. The young girl told her mom that her “baby” said the word. When it was replayed, you could plainly tell that the doll sounded like it was uttering swear words as a part of the song.

Disney markets Hannah Montana cherries

by on Aug.13, 2009, under articles

miley_cyrus_cherriesThis has got to be the dumbest marketing ploy ever. Disney is selling their “Disney Garden” brand of Hannah Montana cherries.

I know the movie is supposed to be about losing her innocence or whatnot, but this is just plain stupid. Bad marketing guys, *slaps their hands* – try harder next time, this was so obvious!
