Hope Solo Inconsolable After Dancing With The Stars Ousting

In case you hadn’t heard, Hope Solo was the latest celebrity to be sent packing on last night’s elimination episode of Dancing With The Stars.

After the show was over, Hope refused to give any interviews backstage and was seen breaking down in tears. Eyewitnesses said that Hope had a series of outbursts after getting eliminated and only wanted to talk to one journalist.

Earlier in the night, they showed a brief clip of Hope’s Monday night performance, where she only scored 24 points. She was obviously unhappy with the judges’ scores and gave off some negativity over it.

Later on that night, usually the castoffs from the show do an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but last night was different. We expected to see Hope and professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy talking about getting close to the coveted Mirror Ball trophy. Yet, the three finalists appeared instead.

Spoiled sport? Or did she deserve to be in the Finals? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think!

DWTS: Maksim Chmerkovskiy Will Not Apologize To Len Goodman

DWTS: Maksim Chmerkovskiy Will Not Apologize To Len Goodman

On Monday’s Broadway themed episode of Dancing With The Stars, soccer player Hope Solo performed a saucy Rumba with her professional dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Head judge Len Goodman wasn’t feeling their performance and commented that it was Hope’s worst dance of the season. On Tuesday, we reported the scuffle:

Len said he was really disappointed and then the audience started boo’ing. Maks was encouraging them to get louder with their disapproval. Len told Maks, “Don’t start all of that Maks, because half of the fault is yours.”

Maks replied with, “As long as the audience liked our journey, we’re good.”

Len quipped, “The audience liked the effect” and commented that he’s been in the business for fifty years. Maks snapped, “Maybe it’s time to go!”

Maks went on to talk to Brooke Charvet about the incident, telling her that it’s “his” show. The judges appeared upset at his proclamation. Now, Maks is revealing that he will not apologize for his comments from Monday night.

The dancing pro appeared on Good Morning America and said that he has nothing to be sorry about. He said, “I definitely have nothing to apologize for. I have nothing to apologize for to Len, and certainly not to Carrie Ann. She can make all the faces she wants. The last time I apologized was to my grandma when she was dying of cancer.”

He added, “I don’t regret anything. That’s why I think I’m a bit misunderstood in this situation. Everyone is waiting for me to bow my head, take a knee and say I’m sorry and plea for forgiveness. I have nothing to apologize for.”

Do you agree with Maks? Or do you feel he was out of line?

Hope Solo's Dancing With The Stars Rumba (Video)

It’s Broadway Week on Dancing With The Stars!

Dancing sixth was soccer star Hope Solo and her professional dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing the Rumba.

The dance was slow, smooth and sensual. At one time, it seemed like she lost her place, but quickly got back into the groove.

WATCH:

Carrie Ann Inaba said that Hope needs to trust her natural sexiness. She also commented that the dance goes against her natural feistiness. She said it was blossoming and then it wasn’t.

Len Goodman said that he never lost faith in her and that there’s so much there. He called the Rumba her worst dance of the entire season. He added that he’s really disappointed.

Bruno Tonioli said it was a difficult song and that she tried to tell a story.

Scores:

Carrie Ann: 7
Len: 6
Bruno: 7

Total: 20/30

Hope Solo’s Dancing With The Stars Tango Performace Video 10/17/11

Hope Solo's Dancing With The Stars Tango Performace Video 10/17/11

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are dancing first, doing the Tango to Livin’ On A Prayer by Bon Jovi. I’m not sure that I’m sold on this performance, but Maks looks good. It’s awkward with them trying to avoid dancing on her cape.

Len Goodman said the Tango is about action and reaction. He said there was no sprint in her. He didn’t know how Maks controlled her and she was too loose.

Bruno Tonioli said she got the “80′s super bitch” down to a T.

Carrie Ann Inaba said she was strong and in character, but Len is right. She attacked it so hard that her lines were awkward. She has to learn that less is more.

Check out the video of their performance:

Hope Solo & Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Dancing With The Stars Week 4 Foxtrot 10/10/11 (Video)

Dancing fifth on last night’s performance episode of Dancing With The Stars was soccer star Hope Solo and her professional dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing the Foxtrot to the theme from Toy Story. In case you’ve missed the show, you can check out our official recap here.

This was the cutest dance of the season. Hope and Maks were adorable as Woody and Jessie, from the movie. It was a totally adorable and well executed dance. This was my favorite dance of the night. Hope and Maks have really good chemistry, dancing together. I hope that they don’t land in the bottom two, this dance alone was enough to keep them in the competition.

Bruno Tonioli said that they made sweet music together.

Carrie Ann Inaba said that they made her smile the whole way through the dance. She commented that it was refreshing to see them out there having fun.

Len Goodman said that he’s frustrated and that she could go all the way in this competition, but also said that he feels she’s not rehearsing enough.

Scores:
Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 8
Bruno: 8
Total: 24/30

Dancing the Cha Cha Cha on last night’s performance episode of Dancing With The Stars, was soccer player Hope Solo and her professional dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. In case you’ve missed last night’s show, you can read our official recap here.

The video:

This Cha Cha Cha was the sexiest dance of the night! Hope and Maks sync’ed up perfectly with this dance. It was fast, saucy and precise. This was most definitely my favorite dance of the entire night.

Carrie Ann Inaba said Hope is a really strong dancer and the dance was sexy and hot. She said that Hope needs to work on her walk a little.

Len Goodman said that the dance was a little provocative for him, but he still thought it was pretty good.

Bruno Tonioli and his crazy self said that the “sexy minx is out of the cage!”

Scores:

Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 8
Bruno: 8

Hope Solo & Maksim Chmerkovski’s Dancing With The Stars Jive (Video)

Hope Solo & Maksim Chmerkovski's Dancing With The Stars Jive (Video)

Hope Solo and her professional dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy took to the Dancing With The Stars stage first, last night to perform the Jive.

Check out the video of their Jive:

The dance was cute and fast and enjoyable to watch. She did kind of mess up a little bit here and there, but it wasn’t anything that terrible. Len Goodman commented that the dance was charming, crisp and fast moving, but noted that she lost her timing a little bit here and there. He said that there wasn’t quite the synchronicity and the audience expressed their displeasure with his commentary.

Bruno Tonioli said that he knows she’s fit and her fanny (?) could crack a walnut, but all of that power is not enough. He said that she has to be precise in this dance, but that she lost it so many times. He said that she didn’t put enough time in to perfect her routine.

Carrie Ann Inaba said that she thought it was a fun performance and that Hope was fun and flirtatious and that was a new side of her. She agreed with Bruno that there were some mess ups, but said that Hope should work on relaxing into it.

Judge’s Scores:

Carrie Ann: 6
Len: 7
Bruno: 6
Total: 19/30
