America’s Got Talent Season 8 Promo (Video)
by Jessica LeFevre on May.01, 2013, under articles

The hit talent competition “America’s Got Talent” is making its way back to the small screen on NBC on June 4, 2013 at 9PM EST. With that, the show will have four judges: Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, Mel B. and Heidi Klum. In a new interview, Howie opened up about the show adding a fourth judge to the fray.
He said, “Because there are four judges, it changes the rules. You need three yeses to move forward. Because you need three, I think that has upped the game in the talent. You have to do that much better to convince more judges that you’re worthy of it. And I think that has proved great. America is going to be so surprised at what they see.”
The show’s host, Nick Cannon, said, “I’m excited because Radio City Music Hall is one of the most historic stages in the world. There are entertainers out there that are professionals that have never performed on that stage, and to give an everyday America that opportunity to experience that is going to take the show to a whole new level.”
Watch the promo:
With regard to the judges, Nick added, “They all bicker. Mel B. bickers with Howard a lot. Howard and Howie still go at it. But it’s all love.”
Is this a show that you’ll want to tune in for when it makes its premiere this summer?
James Franco Denied Sex With Lindsay Lohan
by Lydia Harris on Mar.27, 2013, under articles

If you’ve looked at Lindsay Lohan in the past five years and thought no one would be wise to go near that firecrotch with a ten foot pole, then congratulations, you are not alone. Apparently James Franco had that very opportunity, but quietly backed away from it.
Lindsay offered up her goody parts to James years ago, but even then, he wasn’t going anywhere near that. can you blame the guy? He probably had no idea what she was into then and still doesn’t. At least when he was questioned about it by Howard Stern, he was a gentleman about it!
We were surprised to learn that James actually turned her down… We aren’t sure about the exact time frame with regard to his rejection, but he was just about mum on Lindsay’s offering up the firecrotch.
To learn exactly what went down between Lindsay and James, head on over to Celebrity VIP Lounge. Seriously, it’s that funny. Poor Lindsay can’t even give it away, can she?
Howard Stern To Replace Jimmy Fallon On Late Night TV?
by Jessica LeFevre on Mar.06, 2013, under articles

As we’ve previously reported, Jimmy Fallon might be looking to fill Jay Leno’s shoes on “The Tonight Show” as its official host for the 2013-14 season. Be that as it may, but it leaves a void in the late night spot for the network. Enter Howard Stern….possibly!
Even for late night, it’s hard to imagine he’ll be tame enough for network TV. After it leaked last week that Jimmy Fallon is likely to take Jay Leno’s 11:30 p.m. time slot in 2014, new rumors are abounding as to who will take Fallon’s late-show spot. One of the rumored contenders? Shock jock Howard Stern. A source at NBC tells the New York Post that Stern is seriously being considered for the gig. Stern’s agent and NBC have so far declined to comment on the rumor.
“Page Six” reports that anything regarding Howard taking the soon-to-be open late night slot is being kept hush hush:
His agent, Don Buchwald, says he won’t comment on clients, and NBC’s new head of late night, Doug Vaughan — an old friend and former colleague — has literally gone radio-silent.
We would love it if Howard Stern had his own spot on late night television. What do you think? Hit the comments with your thoughts!

Howard Stern Defends Kelly Clarkson Over Clive Davis Memoir
by Lydia Harris on Feb.23, 2013, under articles

Recently, music mogul Clive Davis came out with his memoir “The Sound Track Of My Life” where he apparently trashed “American Idol” season one winner Kelly Clarkson. He basically said that she was “hysterically sobbing” after he insisted her song “Since U Been Gone” be included on her second album. Kelly hit back at Clive, saying that she would not be bullied.
She took to her official website to say, “So I just heard Clive Davis is releasing a memoir and spreading false information about me and my music. I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans. It feels like a violation. Growing up is awesome because you learn you don’t have to cower to anyone – even Clive Davis.”
Now, Howard Stern is jumping into the mix, taking Kelly’s side in the war of the words. He said that he finds it “sickening” when the head honchos try to take credit for their artist’s work.
He revealed on his show, “I always find it sickening when management guys like to set the record straight about how f**king creative and what geniuses they are. And like this guy’s trying to diminish what she does? Doesn’t he have enough in life? Can’t he sort of tell his story without f**king degrading her and putting her down?”
He added, “I think she has an amazing voice, and the girl has worked hard to get to where she is. I don’t understand Clive Davis’ motivation for knocking this chick down.”
Get em’ Howard!
Howard Stern Announces Return To ‘America’s Got Talent’
by Roberta Ferguson on Dec.03, 2012, under articles

Shock jock Howard Stern has announced that he will be making his return to “America’s Got Talent” for its eighth season. It was said previously that he wouldn’t be coming back to the TV show, but perhaps they’ve made him an offer that he couldn’t refuse? Millions of dollars will do that to a person, no?
The network announced that he will be returning as a judge to the NBC show for the summer in 2013. Are you excited? We love Howard, he’s the Simon Cowell of “AGT”; honest and fair — and usually right.
After the announcement, Howard told his audience, “If I was the only judge, I think the show would be terrific.”
He told his listeners on his Sirius XM radio show, “If I don’t like the new judge, I’ll hit the ‘X’ on the judge while they’re talking. I’ll be like, ‘Shut up, no one wants to hear from you.’ Believe me, if I was the only judge, I think the show would be terrific. You don’t need the other judges, but all right. I got to learn to play with others.”
Head of alternative and late night programming at NBC Entertainment, Paul Telegdy, said in a statement, “Howard Stern’s towering presence and opinions on last season’s show as a new judge made a dramatic impact and added a sharper edge to the fascinating developments on stage. We know that Howard believes in ‘America’s Got Talent’ — which remains America’s top-rated summer series — and that dedication comes across in a genuine way to our viewers who share his passion about our amazing talent competition.”
He is the first judge on the show to confirm that he would be returning. Sharon Osbourne has said that she won’t be back and we are still waiting on word from Howie Mandel on whether or not he’ll be coming back.
Are you excited for the new season of “America’s Got Talent” now that Howard Stern is coming back?

Russell Brand Wanted Children With Katy Perry
by Lydia Harris on Jul.19, 2012, under articles

British comedian Russell Brand has revealed that he was completely open to having children with his former wife Katy Perry. When speaking to Howard Stern on his radio show on Wednesday, the shock jock prodded him about Russell about his ex.
Russell said, “She’s young, successful and dedicated. You can’t fully understand it until you do it. I was really into the idea of marriage and having children.”
The duo married on October 23, 2010 in an intimate ceremony in India. Russell commented that they enjoyed a good 14 months together of wedded bliss. He said, “She’s a good person, I’ve got nothing but love for her. I loved her so much, it just seemed like the sensible thing to do. I just loved her so much. This isn’t really working out, it’s a difficult situation…I was really, really in love with her, but it was difficult to see each other…We were together when it was right to be together, and when it wasn’t we worked it out. It was a lovely relationship…it mostly didn’t work for practical reasons…We did work it out, she’s happy, I’m happy.”
He added, “I don’t want anything to hurt her. She’s younger than me, she’s a young woman and she’s beautiful and she’s sensitive and I care about her deeply…..I don’t want to be too glib.”
Howard Stern & Howie Mandel Hate Each Other?
by Jessica LeFevre on May.16, 2012, under articles

According to the latest issue of “Reality Weekly” magazine, “America’s Got Talent” judges Howard Stern and Howie Mandel hate each other! Is it really war between the two or is it just ratings gold for the new season of the show?
The tabloid reports that there is a battle of egos behind the scenes of the show and there is a lot of tension backstage. Reportedly, Howard is getting a ton of attention for signing on to do the show and it has turned the show into Sternmania. A source revealed, “Howie isn’t a happy camper.”
Rumor has it that Howard has even been using Howie’s OCD as a point of cruel jokes. Are you buying the hype? What do you think? Are Howard and Howie at each other’s throats?
Howard Stern Makes ‘America’s Got Talent’ Judging Debut
by Jed Eckert on May.16, 2012, under articles

When it was announced that Howard Stern had signed on for this season of “America’s Got Talent”, the Parents Television Council urged the show’s advertisers to walk away and take their ads with them. This was way before even hearing the new judge’s commentary on any of the competitors. The PTC was obviously going by the shock jock’s radio show, in which he says whatever happens to be on his mind.
We were among the curious as to how he would stack up when presented with his newly acquired judging duties. If you’ve missed the first week’s episodes, you can read our recaps here and here.
As it turns out, Howard is actually a really good judge of talent. Howie Mandel defended his co-judge, saying, “Yes, he’s edgy and honest, but he’s a very bright, smart man. Nobody gets to that height without knowing what they’re doing. He’s also compassionate, emotional, serious and has god constructive criticism. He’s a good judge.”
All of Howie’s praise for Howard came true this week as we’ve seen a different side of the radio titan. Kudos to him for showing the world that he doesn’t have to be just some guy on the radio who can tell chicks if they’re hot enough to do “Playboy” magazine.

Howard Stern Says Britney Spears Will Be A Trainwreck On ‘The X Factor”
by Jed Eckert on May.11, 2012, under articles

Pop singer Britney Spears is stepping off of the stage and sitting at the judges’ table on the upcoming second season of “The X Factor”. We applauded the decision by Simon Cowell to sign Britney on for the show, but apparently Howard Stern thinks it’s going to be a train wreck. Of course, Howard is in the middle of promoting his new gig as a judge on “America’s Got Talent.”
The shock jock said that hiring the pop star is a “wonderful decision” because she “still thinks the earth is flat.” Oh snap. He revealed, “I think we’re going to tune in to see her, to see if she can function through the thing. As far as any real criticism, I think Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid will do that. I think Britney will sit there and eat a lollipop and wear a sexy outfit.”
He added, “I’ll tune in to see what kind of train wreck she is, absolutely.”
Will you be tuning in when the talent competition makes its second season debut?
