Dina Lohan is really trying to insist that we believe her daughter Lindsay backed out of the role as porn star and drug addict Linda Lovelace in the movie Inferno. She’s practically cramming it down our throats that Lindsay turned the role down. Methinks doth protest too much, Dina.

It makes sense that she would turn the role down, considering that it would be weird for her to tap into her own personal experiences to play a drug addict. But Lindsay was adamant on playing this role for the longest time and even the director was behind her. Until recently, that is. The director has since said that she’s opted to go with Malin Ackerman for the role, instead of Lindsay.

Dina said, “The movie is about a drug addict and a porn star…it is hard when you are a serious actor with what she has been through, we don’t need that. Lindsay was disappointed because she really wanted to do it, but she felt that it would not be good for her after what she has experienced. It was hard for her to turn it down, because it was an amazing role.”

Perhaps she finally got around to reading the script for the part?

Still, Dina persists, saying, “She felt it wasn’t right to take that role after what she had been through, and play a drug addict. She made the ultimate decision, she always does.”

Even though Lindsay Lohan has no plans on actually filming the role as Linda Lovelace for the movie, Inferno, Tyler Shields has released a couple of more photos of the fallen actress in the porn star role.

Well, it looks like Papa Lohan got his wish! Lindsay Lohan is no longer slated to appear in the movie based on Linda Lovelace’s life — Inferno.

She says she quit the movie and the movie’s producers are saying that they had to move on. TMZ reports:

Malin Akerman — best known for her roles in “Watchmen” and “The Heartbreak Kid” — will play the lead role in “Inferno” now that LiLo is no longer attached, this according to Deadline Hollywood.

As for the circumstances of Lindsay’s departure … sources close to Lindsay told us she quit, her rep called the decision “mutual,” and other reports claim she was fired. You be the judge.

I’m sure Malin would be a better fit anyways. What do you think?

Lindsay Lohan has some hoops that she has to jump through before she can take it all off for her role as Linda Lovelace in her upcoming movie, Inferno.

Producers behind the new flick has confirmed reports that they are adding a “sobriety clause” to her contract so that they can ensure that she behaves on set.

Inferno producer Chris Hanley has now revealed movie bosses are determined to make sure Lohan stays out of trouble when she finally begins filming the role and they have made sure her contract now contains a specific “sobriety clause”.

Hanley tells E! News, “Formally, the terms of the acting services agreement would be such that Lindsay would not violate any obligation she would have to fulfil with the court, with her probation, or with the production insurance… Informally, as far as I am concerned that would include being 100 per cent sober, yes. The actual contractual wording would be more legal to include making sure the movie production would not be compromised in any way.”

They should put a “No nose candy” sign somewhere. Just sayin’.

Ok, so it’s not technically a porn movie… but it’s definitely supposed to be racy. Complete with orgies, and threesomes, and girl on girl action…

In an attempt to eradicate her ‘bubblegum’ image, Kristen Stewart, like many before her, (La Lohan for instance) is taking on a very ‘adult’ sort of role.

The upcoming film “On the Road” is an adaptation of an old Jack Kerouac novel about a young guy who sets out on the road in the US and well, I’m guessing some debauchery creeps in there somewhere… cuz well… Kristen’s character is said to be proud of her love of giving blow jobs.

I think I’d rather watch Lohan as porn queen Linda Lovelace, to be honest… at least psycho Linds has some sex appeal.

Reportedly, Lindsay Lohan’s actions were way too much for her to promote or star in that Linda Lovelace movie, Inferno. Wow, who knew that her DUI conviction and jail stint would drive off a movie about a porn queen? It’s madness, I tell you.

The Fab Life reports:

The producers of the much-buzzed-about Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno, which was supposed to mark LiLo’s acting comeback, might be giving her the boot. Filming was supposed to begin in August, but a 90-day rehab stint would certainly make that hard. Word is the Lindsay will be replaced by Sarah Scott who is rumored to have met with the film’s producers yesterday.

Lindsay needs to take time to get clean anyways, so this is a good thing. She can’t come out of jail and rehab and do a porn movie. It just doesn’t seem like the right formula for a comeback.

It doesn’t seem that Lindsay Lohan is going to catch a break any time soon. Apparently, the makers of her new flick, Machete, have decided to cut her completely from the trailer.

In the first version of the trailer, she appeared as a nun with a gun. Now, she’s been axed from her brief appearance in the teaser and has also been removed from the credits for the movie.

At least the makers of that porn flick, Inferno, are holding out for Lindsay. But how could her reputation really damage a movie’s PR, considering the script?
