Iron Maiden are gearing up for the release of their fifteenth studio album, The Final Frontier, on August 16, 2010.

On their official website, they’ve posted this:

The release date for IRON MAIDEN’S new studio album THE FINAL FRONTIER is now confirmed for Monday 16th August.

The new album pictured here features artwork illustrated by Melvyn Grant and, to mark the occasion, the band have made special arrangements for one new album track ‘EL DORADO’ to be made available Worldwide as a FREE digital download MP3 with immediate effect.

Activision has just released the official band listing for Guitar Hero 5 and it’s good!

Among the coolest of bands on the list are Megadeth, Nirvana, Billy Squier, Iron Maiden, and Rammstein.

Bruce Dickinson, singer of Iron Maiden, has recently shown that he totally does not approve of people doing drugs at his shows.

At a recent show, the singer yelled at a fan for smoking marijuana during a concert.

Blabbermouth says that Bruce reprimanded the man in front of the entire crowd, telling him, “Would you please put that f**king s**t out? My lungs are trying to work up here, dude.”
