Did you feel bad for Taylor Swift when you found out the news that her short-lived and rumored boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal ditched her in the same fashion that Joe Jonas did?

How mad would you feel if you found out that the whole relationship may be a figment of all of our imaginations? Seriously, these two only really met up for a coffee date once and then they went apple picking. Then they were the new “it” couple. Take a step back now. Did either of them actually confirm any romance between them? Sure, we’ve seen the photo of them walking down a street and her arm is around him, but that could be a friendly gesture only.

You see, there is no real concrete evidence that these two were actually an item. So that brings me to the “why”. Why would they make something like this up? Well, we’ve already covered why Taylor would want to do that. When people feel sorry for her, for some unknown reason, they run out to the store and buy up her music. And then there’s Jake. Why would Jake fake it? Of course there’s the obvious “he’s gay” rumors (which I think are false, of course.) And then there’s the movie he was trying to promote, Love And Other Drugs.

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal broke up just before Christmas last year due to the “age difference” and “publicity”, but they might just be getting back together.

As you can see in the photo above, the twosome were spotted out and about in Nashville, Tennessee last week, prompting speculation that they have rekindled their romance. The former (?) couple had dinner together at the Boundry.

It’s possible that they were just having a friendly dinner. But I can’t see her being too friendly with him, considering the reports that he dumped her over the phone just like her ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift were spotted last night having dinner at a restaurant near her condo called Bound’ry in Taylor’s hometown of Nashville. The two were acting very affectionate with each other and has caused speculation that they are back on.

A source revealed: “There was no holding hands, but they seemed happy together. They sat next to the fireplace just chatting away.”

Taylor has been laying low and is said to have been heartbroken but their split. Actually she is far better off with someone her own age. Maybe they are just moving on as friends. What do you think are Jake and Taylor getting back together?

Jake Gyllenhaal showed up to the Golden Globes on Sunday night with his ex-girlfriend, Jenny Lewis in tow. But don’t read anything into that, because according to reports, the former couple are just friends.

An inside source said, “Jake and ex-girlfriend Jenny Lewis went to the Globes as friends. Jake and Jenny haven’t dated for years. They’re still friends, and they went as friends.”

After splitting with Taylor Swift just a couple of weeks ago, it was thought that he was trying to get back together with his ex. But not so fast! She’s still dating her boyfriend, Johnathan Rice. Jake Gyllenhaal teased his ex-girlfriend Natalie Portman as he awarded her Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The two dated for a very short time in 2006, but that didn’t stop Jake from praising, as well as teasing the pregnant actress.

He has promised to see her as much as possible while she is away but so that she knows he is going to be supporting her all the way through. Anne Hathaway is obviously still on the promotional circuit for her new movie with Jake Gyllenhaal, Love And Other Drugs. So of course, because the movie has so much to do with sex, she has to discuss that at every given opportunity.

In a recent interview, she said that she and Jake developed an intimacy for them to both be able to make their raunchy sex scenes more authentic.

She said, “We had to go to a lot of emotionally and physically vulnerable places and we spent a lot of time rehearsing. We watched a lot of love scenes that have been done throughout film history and talked about which ones we liked and which ones we didn’t.”

This might be news to his girlfriend Taylor Swift. He says that he admires the values that his parents instilled in him from a young age and wants the chance to pass their advice down to another generation.

In a new interview, the actor said, “Family is ultimately what I want. I was always taught to feel comfortable about my body. My parents told me that there is beauty in whatever you are and however you look.”

Jake revealed that he was attracted to the Viagra salesman role in Love And Other Drugs because the script came at the time he was questioning love in his life. He said, “There comes a time in people’s lives when they say, ‘Do I have real love? Do I want real love?’ When I read the script, it was a time when that seemed to be a pressing question.”

On November 25th, Jake Gyllenhaal and girlfriend Taylor Swift spent some time at a coffee shop in Brooklyn, New York, grabbing lattes. We’ve got some new details on their sweet date!

He was very gentle toward her and was being super polite.
