Now that the eleventh season of “American Idol” is winding down to a close, there’s another question on everyone’s mind besides whether it’ll be Phillip Phillips or Jessica Sanchez as the winner of the show. People are curious as to whether or not Jennifer Lopez will be sitting at the judge’s table next to Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson for the show’s twelfth season.

Jennifer has already cast doubt on her future with the show, telling Ellen DeGeneres that she’s too busy. Interscope head honcho and “Idol” mentor Jimmy Iovine says that he hopes that Jennifer will be back for another season.

In a press conference earlier today, he said, “She’s incredible, I hope she does it again. I know nothing about this…I just mentor the kids and do my thing. And Jennifer’s wonderful. Funny and beautiful and talented. So I hope they keep her.”

He went on to say, “I am low in the totem pole. I don’t get to make these decisions about the judges.”

If Jennifer doesn’t return for next season, do you think Jimmy would make an adequate replacement as a judge? If not, who do you think they should get to take her spot?

There were rumors floating around that Jennifer Lopez was set to leave “American Idol” after this season of the show. She hasn’t really spoken out about all of the talk until now.

The latest Hollywood gossip suggested that J-Lo wouldn’t be reprising her role as a judge on the popular singing competition. It was said that she was just too busy to do the show next season with all of her other commitments. Now, she has taken to her official Twitter page to discuss the reports.

She tweeted, “There is no truth to the reports that say I am definitely leaving Idol. All I said was I haven’t decided what I am doing next year. When I know for sure what I’m doing I will let the #LOVE!RS know!”

Do you want to see Jennifer on the show next season?

“American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez is unsure as to whether or not she will be making her return to the show next season. When speaking with Ellen DeGeneres, she hinted that she may not return to the show but did say that she does enjoy it.

When talking to Ellen, Jennifer said, “I enjoy it. I really do enjoy it. Now this is my second year. I don’t know if I can go for a third year. It really does lock you down.”

Does it sound like someone is already in contract negotiations for the show’s twelfth season? It sounds to us as if she’s trying to play hard to get in order to get a good deal for re-upping her contract next season. What do you think?

She spoke of her children, Max and Emme, saying, “Now they’re getting mobile. They’re about to go to school. I just don’t know. I don’t know.”

In a separate interview, she was asked to comment on the new “X Factor” judges, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. She revealed, “They’re both more than capable to handle it. I think they’ll have a good time. It’s fun – working with the singers and doing your thing and knowing what you’re talking about from experience and they both have that.”

She added, “You don’t have to be tough. There’s not one way to do that, reality TV, and those competition shows are about being yourself, it’s about being your best self and I think that’s the most important thing.”

Will Jennifer return for the show next season? A source close to the judge and singer says that it’s not likely. The spy revealed, “Fox really wants to keep her, and who knows what could happen if they threw an obscene amount of money at Jennifer in order to convince her to say.”

A close pal of Jennifer’s said, “Jennifer just needs more down time..more family time.”

On Thursday night’s elimination episode of “American Idol”, judge Jennifer Lopez took to the stage to perform her newest single, “Dance Again”. She was joined on stage by her boyfriend and “lead choreographer” Casper Smart. Together, the couple brought the cuteness to the stage.

She showed the contestants how it’s done right before Hollie Cavanagh was announced as the eliminated contestant. She showed off her body in a sparkling leotard, tights and heels. During the performance, she was joined by Casper, who shared a racy and flirty bit with J-Lo.

Was Marc Anthony out there watching the show? On May 25, 2011 on the show’s tenth season finale, they were on stage together. He sang “Aguanile” while she danced. They ended that show with a kiss.

The singer and former backup dancer turned lead choreographer have been dating for the past six months and Casper sure knows how to keep Jennifer feeling special. A source has revealed, “He treats her like a queen. Casper centers everything on Jennifer.”

Of course he centers everything around his queen, she’s totally his sugar mama! She promoted him from backup dancer to lead choreographer for her tour with Enrique Iglesias, so that they would be on equal grounds. Did that work? They’re not nearly on any level grounding, are they?

Jennifer has recently admitted that while she already has two children with Marc Anthony, she would be open to having more. She said, “It would be a blessing for me. But right now I’m focused on doing it right with those two.”

Following her appearance in the new movie “What To Expect When You’re Expecting”, she said that she would also consider adoption. She said, “Before the movie, I never really thought about adoption at all and I was so focused on having my own and it took me a while to have my own. But after the film and during the making of the film, I held those two little Ethiopian twins and you fall in love instantly. It really occurred to me, I can see how somebody can do this.”

With regard to adoption, Jennifer heaped praise on Madonna and Angelina Jolie for going that route. She said, “I commend them for it. I think it’s a beautiful thing. I think it’s a very selfless act of love to adopt a child who you don’t know and never seen before and never met before.”

Marc Anthony is in the middle of divorcing American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez, but you won’t catch them taking any cheap shots at each other. This is definitely good news to their young twins Max and Emme.

In a new interview, Marc discussed his upcoming tour as well as his life after divorcing Jennifer. He said, “I feel like I’m starting the next forty years of my life with everything I’ve learned and everything I know.”

Currently, he and Jennifer co-parent their cute twins, as well as remaining business partners for their show, Que Viva! He talked about how he has maintained such a great friendship with Jennifer, saying, “Don’t go for the cheap shots. Just in any breakup, it can get hot and heavy because emotions are involved and it’s very easy to go for the cheap shot. When you concentrate on not playing that card, it’s infinitely easier. If you can learn anything it’s that it’s possible to be civil and mature and adult about it. Period.”

Marc is currently ready to kick off his Gigant3S tour in Miami, alongside Marco Antonio Solis and Chayanne. Of that he added, “You literally can buy one ticket and see three acts that are at the top of their game.”

According to the latest issue of Us Weekly, American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is telling her friends that she has plans to tie the knot with her 24-year-old boyfriend Casper Smart.

A pal of the singer’s revealed that she “is telling friends she wants to marry Casper.”

The rumors even suggest that it’s all because Jennifer was another baby STAT. The spy said, “Frankly, she doesn’t have all the time in the world. She’s certain she wants to be with Casper forever.”

The pal continued, “He provides what she hasn’t had in years. He’s very supportive and devoted. She wants to have a traditional family. She loves how playful he is with them.”

Casper has also “made her feel young” and the source added, “He exists only for her. Marc controlled her, and now she’s in control.”

We will fathom a guess that this is just another made up story in order to sell copies of Us Weekly. We don’t doubt that Jennifer might have some traditional values, but we don’t think she’s in any rush to the altar just yet. What do you think?

When Elise Testone performed her two songs on American Idol last night, she received some feedback from the three judges that wasn’t the best that she’d received during this season.

After Jennifer Lopez critiqued her performance of Marvin Gaye’s hit song, Let’s Get It On, Elise defended herself to the judges. Was she just expected to stand there and smile? Besides that, her performance was great.

She was accused of being rude to Jennifer, but now says that she didn’t do anything wrong. She told reporters after the episode aired, “I don’t feel like I was being rude. The thing that compelled me to do it was J-Lo said I wasn’t…connecting with my song, and I didn’t want to stand there and smile.”

She went on to say, “I wanted to engage…and I didn’t discredit anything they said. I just felt like I needed to explain that I am always approaching my songs for an emotional standpoint, but maybe they brought to my attention that this competition is making me forget.”

It’s been said that Jennifer Lopez’s boy toy Casper Smart receives a tidy sum of $10,000 per week to maintain his arm candy status with the American Idol judge. Apparently Marc Anthony was holding out hope that he and estranged wife Jennifer Lopez would reconcile. The couple were married in a private ceremony in her Beverly Hills mansion on June 5, 2004. Since around June, the couple announced that they were officially splitting up. But that wasn’t before Marc asked Jennifer to give their marriage one more try.

Instead of fighting for her marriage with Marc, she opted to pursue her deep rooted feelings for her new boyfriend Casper Smart. So basically Marc wanted things to work out, but she told him that she was madly in love with Casper. This lead to his divorce filing on Monday.

Sources close to Marc have revealed that this wasn’t a lone decision — after having a heart-to-heart talk with Jennifer a few weeks ago, she decided that she wanted to end their marriage. It was at that time that Jennifer confessed her feelings of being in love with Casper. Marc had no idea that her relationship with Casper had gotten so serious and was blindsided by the news.

Poor guy. Even though they were separated, he really wanted to work things out. I can’t imagine that he could’ve been too blindsided. They were both dating different people — did he really think that her relationship with Casper was just a fling? What do you think?

After being legally separated since July, Marc Anthony has finally filed the papers to divorce American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez. The two have kept everything between them pretty amicable for the sake of their twins together, Max and Emme. In addition, they also co-host a show on Saturdays, titled Que Viva! The Chosen.

The former couple have also moved on to dating other people. In the divorce documents, Marc cites the reason for the split as irreconcilable differences. He filed the papers just two days ago in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Marc is asking the judge for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four-year-old twins. In addition, Marc wants the judge to deny spousal support to Jennifer should she ask for it in response to his petition.

We’re sure Casper Smart would say that there’s at least one good thing about being a well-kept man: the gifts! Jennifer Lopez’s boy toy just turned 25-years-old, so she gave him a new, tricked out Dodge Ram to celebrate the occasion. A TRUCK!

She decided to take him to a nice, intimate dinner party at Cecconi’s in Los Angeles, over the weekend. The highlight of the night came before that when she handed him the keys to his new white Dodge Ram. I bet!

An inside snitch revealed, “Jennifer had planned a fun day to celebrate Casper’s birthday. She knew that Casper really wanted a truck, and Casper was very excited about the generous gift. Casper was so excited about his new truck that he decided to drive it to dinner. She was smiling about Casper’s excitement.”

It sounds as if it’s Christmas for Casper and he was just jumping up and down with excitement — as she looked on. Like, you know, when kids get gifts from “Santa”.

Jennifer tweeted a birthday message to Casper, saying, “Beau has a birthday we’re so glad, we hope it’s the best birthday Beau ever has! Happy birthday bear!!!”

I wonder what he’s going to get her for her birthday? My first guess would be whatever his $10,000 monthly allowance will buy.

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart haven’t been dating long, but they have already gotten serious enough for him to meet her mother and sister. Even better – Casper and J-Lo’s mom Guadalupe are getting along famously! So much, in fact, that a source said that “Casper’s last name really describes him well!”

It certainly does, considering that he’s managed to latch onto a 42-year-old cougar with more money than God. Jennifer’s mother wasn’t exactly a fan of her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, so Casper is definitely taking notes there.

A snitch said, “Guadalupe was not displeased, perhaps was even happy, when Jennifer and Marc divorced.”

Apparently Guadalupe didn’t have a problem when Jennifer dated Ben Affleck, because they hit up the gambling spots in Las Vegas together. Jennifer’s sister Lynda also has nothing but good words about Casper, thinking that he’s a “very charming and engaging guy.”

Of course any kind of narcissist would love a tattoo of their name on someone else’s body, right?

Speaking of Casper, Jennifer has previously said, “He’s adorable. But you already see that. He’s a good egg. I don’t want to talk about it too much. It’s my private thing.”

She has also spoken of her divorce from Marc Anthony. She said, “Without going into detail…it’s just really, really sad. And look, we are still going through it, and it’s emotional sometimes and difficult. We’re still friends – and we’re parents. But it’s going to take time. It’s tough. But for the most part, I feel very proud of the way we’re handling it. I really do. We are doing the best we can for the kids.”

She said, “I don’t know. We’ll see. It’s not time to think about that, do you know what I mean? It’s still fresh.”

With regard to having a baby with Casper, it was said that idea would cause a lot of drama between Jennifer and Marc. Marc was said to be threatening to take the twins if that were to come about. Not that we believe that, considering how much of a friendly relationship they still have with each other. They are grown adults and are keeping their split very amicable. Besides that, to take the twins away, Marc would have to prove she is unfit — which she most certainly is not.

Star magazine reveals that Jennifer and Casper secretly wed on a yacht in Mexico — with no gifts OR guests!

The tabloid also reveals that Casper wants to adopt her twins — but that’s unlikely. Marc is a good father to his twins with Jennifer, so I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon. According to the magazine, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement that sees him getting one million dollars per year if they ever split.

On last night’s elimination episode of American Idol, we said goodbye to Jennifer Lopez’s favorite contestant, Jeremy Rosado. It came down to being between Jeremy and fellow competitor Elise Testone in the bottom two. In case you’ve missed the show, you can read the full episode recap here.

Jeremy gave an interview where he discussed Elise staying in the competition, J-Lo and whether or not there are more reality singing competitions in his future.

On how he felt in the moment and his cheerleader Jennifer Lopez:

Jennifer Lopez has been behind me this entire way. Who gets to say that, you know? I’ve been crazy blessed. She came up to me tonight and told me she wanted to keep me. That makes you feel good inside to know that she believes in you so much. I’m so grateful to her. I’m so grateful to God for her in my life.

On being voted off of the show and Elise staying:

I didn’t technically get voted off, you never know. But it doesn’t matter. I’ve been so blessed to know each and every one of these contestants. I love them – they’re my brothers, they’re my sisters. I’m so happy that Elise got to stay. This is all our dreams. She deserves it.

On having no regrets:

You know, I’m happy I get to leave on a high note. The performance yesterday may not have been my best, but I don’t think it was my worst. I’m just so blessed to have had this opportunity.

On what he learned from the experience:

I’ve learned that I have the strength to make it through the show – it’s not easy, but it is the dream. I would do it all over again tomorrow if I could, if I had to. This has just been amazing. It makes you stronger.

He won’t be trying out for The Voice or The X Factor USA:

You know what, American Idol was the dream, it is the dream for me. And I’m going to take what this show has done for me and use it to start my career, and I’m excited.

American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez really wanted some zing in order to peddle her latest fragrance, called Glowing. So, naturally, she went au naturale for the perfume’s ad, leaving very little to the imagination.

In a new interview with Women’s Wear Daily, she talked of the longevity of her brand and the fragrance itself.

Of the brand’s longevity, she said, “You don’t think about things like that – when you’re creating, you’re just in the moment. You’re doing it right then for right then. You always hope that things have a lasting impression and you go into it with those types of big thoughts – ‘Oh, this could be like Coco Mademoiselle or Chanel No. 5!’ You aim for that, but you don’t really think of it when you’re in the moment.”

Of the fragrance, she called it “a step beyond Glow.”

She went on to reveal, “Glowing is such a clean fragrance. That’s what I’ve always been about. I like soapy, clean smells. This is a very woodsy scent. So it’s not exactly what I created 10 years ago – it’s the evolution of that. At the essence, it’s still natural, earthy, clean and real, but a little different side of that. It’s the woodsy side of it, which I think is kind of New York-y, darker and sexier.”

She added, “We’re in the history making business, baby! I drove them a little bit crazy with this one. I always feel pressure to create a great fragrance – I always want it to be so special, this one especially because of Glow. We want it to be great, and I think it is.”

Jennifer Lopez says that she won’t answer anymore questions about her divorce from Marc Anthony because they want to keep their private business private for the sake of their twins, Max and Emme.

She revealed, “Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself – if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”

Since, she hasn’t spoken publicly about the divorce, in detail. She also warns reporters not to ask about her quotes from her interview in Vanity Fair.

On the Today show, she said, “Everything I wanted to say about the divorce I said in that article. And Marc and I agreed that we’re not gonna talk about it publicly again because it really is our personal lives. We have children and it’s something that we just have to respect and keep sacred. It’s not the easiest thing in the world but we handled it with a lot of grace, a lot of caring and a lot of love.”

Kudos to her for keeping the important things private. One day, their children will grow up and get on the internet and they don’t need to see mom and dad bashing each other.

It’s not the easiest thing in the world, but I think we handle our split with a lot of grace and a lot of caring and a lot of love.”

As far as whether or not she is considering marriage on down the road, she said, “I don’t know. We’ll see. It’s not time to think about that, do you know what I mean? It’s still fresh.”
