Howard Stern ruffled some feathers when he spoke about Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe’s weight. Now, Jessica Simpson is weighing in on the debate, because, she, too, has been the subject of public scrutiny over her weight.

Jessica said, “I’m actually surprised somebody had the cojones to say that. I just think that’s really disrespectful. It’s unfortunate because she walked the red carpet at the Oscars and she owned it. She was beautiful. There was no denying that she did not think she was the most beautiful person on that red carpet. She was just owning that moment for herself. She had such confidence and I absolutely 100 percent think she could get anything in the world that she wants.”

While filming an interview with IHeartRadio, Jessica Simpson revealed a few nasty tidbits about her oral hygiene. As it turns out, the singer says that she doesn’t brush her teeth, and only uses Listerine.

Billy Corgan was obviously unimpressed with John Mayer’s recent declaration that Jessica Simpson is considered “sexual napalm”. So much, that the singer is taking aim at Mayer for his Playboy comments.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Smashing Pumpkins singer said, “I think for any person, who has celebrity, to sort of drop rocks at somebody else’s feet like that, there’s things you should really just keep your mouths shut on. There’s things that should just be left alone.”

When John Mayer referred to Jessica Simpson as “sexual napalm” and said that she was like a drug that he would sell off all of his stuff to snort, you would think she would be flattered.

Alas, she wasn’t. In fact, she was more ticked off by John’s insights. A friend of Jessica’s said, “Jessica was shocked. She was really pissed off at first when she heard about it, then she read the whole interview, and the first thing that she said was, ‘I’m annoyed John would sink so low.’”

Annoyed? That’s it? When TMZ caught up with her, she just chuckled at the news and said that she didn’t want to box him. Tame! John got off lucky. He’s such a douche.

In the new issue of “Allure”, Jessica Simpson talks about relationships, the fat jibes and nudity.

She spoke of John Mayer stating that he is not to credit with her dying her hair in 2006 and 2007. She said that she’s not bitter about her breakup with Tony Romo, either.

Despite gaining confidence in her body, she said that there is one deal breaker when it comes to acting. She said, “I will never do nudity. I don’t care how dark and intellectual the role could be, you know. I don’t care if I frickin’ could get an Oscar for it, I’m not going to do it. Those accolades mean nothing to me. I don’t think people deserve to see what’s under my clothing. That’s only for my next husband-ha-ha-ha.”

After Smashing Pumpkins rocker Billy Corgan tossed Jessica Simpson by the wayside due to her very public life, she has reportedly rebounded with “Friday Night Lights” star, Taylor Kitsch.

The duo met at a party at Jessica’s place when BFF CaCee Cobb’s boyfriend Donald Faison brought him along for the festivities.

A source said, “Jessica had a bunch of people over for pizza and beer, and Donald brought his pal Taylor. They ended up talking all night and it’s gone from there. He’s very sweet and constantly tells Jessica she’s gorgeous. Getting all this attention from such a hot guy is doing wonders for her ego! Everyone hopes it works out.”

An insider said, “While one of the executives was speaking in a room full of five people, Jessica let out a very loud fart.”

Jessica Simpson is helping out in support of the victims of the Haiti earthquake by organizing a shoe drive to help survivors. Kudos!

She has teamed up with Soles4Souls to collect at least 50,000 shoes in 50 days, which will be sent to the victims of the tragedy.

According to reports, Billy Corgan couldn’t stand the heat, so he got out of the kitchen. Corgan is said to have put an end to his and Jessica Simpson’s brief relationship, citing the attention they got mobbed with as a reason for the split.

A source said, “Jessica loved spending so much time in and out of the studio with Billy. She’s in awe of his musical prowess, and it adds to her feelings for him, but they are not dating. Dating Jessica publicly can be intense. Billy maintains a quiet, private music-focused life and the taste of publicity he got while being with Jessica was an eye opener.”

But he’s not ditching her completely. The source added, “Billy likes Jessica, but he will work to keep their relationship as it is and focus on the music. They are not getting serious, but Jessica has had so much fun with him.”

What has been interesting to me is that she has apparently removed all of the pics she took with him from her Twitter page.

Jessica Simpson just posted this photo on her Twitter account, with this caption, “going over a song w @billy and the boxer @JessicaSimpson”.

Work? So that’s what they’re calling it now? Can you imagine what the sound of a Billy Corgan/Jessica Simpson duet would sound like???
