Jessica Simpson became a mother to daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1st and since, she’s been busy preparing her wedding to fiance Eric Johnson. Now, they have officially announced their wedding date of December 12, 2012 or 12/12/12!

They’ve been engaged since November 2010 and were set on tying the knot in Hawaii on November 11, 2011 (11/11/11), but had to put their wedding plans on hold due to her pregnancy. An insider revealed, “Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends.”

The pal went on to say, “Jessica is busy planning two very important events – Maxwell’s baptism and her wedding to Eric.”

We’re still waiting to see the first baby photos of Maxwell. Aren’t any of the celebrity weeklies going to cough up the dough for that privilege?

John Mayer is now voicing his regret for describing former girlfriend Jessica Simpson as “sexual napalm”. John and Jessica dated for nine months between 2006 and 2007 and in an interview, he described how Jessica was in the sack.

Now he says that he regrets his comments, but said that he did it to make himself appear more exciting. It sounds like a bit of a douche move to us, but that’s John Mayer, isn’t it?

He revealed in a new interview, “I had nothing to say. I was going through a time in my life where I didn’t really want to share what was going on, but I didn’t want to be boring.”

He went on to say, “When you’re just open, but not honest, then you start free-associating garbage. It doesn’t mean I can go back and scrub it out, bit I understand it now.”

During his interview for “Playboy” magazine, he said, “Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me. Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”

Afterward, Jessica blasted John for his comments, saying, “I don’t want people to know how I am in bed!”

According to the latest Hollywood gossip, fashion mogul Jessica Simpson is pimping out the first photos of her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson for a cool $800,000. Are people that interested to see photos of her new addition with fiance Eric Johnson? We’re guessing that the tabloids have already gauged their readership’s interest and have adjusted accordingly.

Several sources have told “Women’s Wear Daily” that Jessica has sold off the first pictures of Maxwell to “People” magazine. Of course they snatched up the rights to the pictures. We’re just surprised that they didn’t offer her more for them.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt scooped up a cool $11 million for the first pictures of their twins, Knox and Vivienne, while Jennifer Lopez scored $6 million from the publication for pics of Max and Emme. So, why is Jessica’s baby’s pictures worth less? Okay, she didn’t have twins even though she was big enough to house a football team. But still. Under a million?

Jessica Simpson is celebrating her first Mother’s Day this year after giving birth to her bundle of joy, Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1st. She’s super happy to be a first time mother and took to her official Twitter account to talk about her glee.

She tweeted yesterday, “I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”

We are truly happy for the “Fashion Star” mentor on her new addition with fiance Eric Johnson. Now, we imagine that she will become the face of one of the major diet companies out there and will lose all of her baby weight so that she can walk down the aisle with Eric.

On Tuesday, May 1st, Jessica Simpson gave birth to her first child with fiance Eric Johnson. The happy couple welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson into the world and now their pals are already saying that little Maxi looks just like her mother.

The couple released a statement on Jessica’s official website, saying, “Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson. We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives.”

A pal of the couple’s said of baby Maxi, “She’s so cute! And Maxwell looks a lot like her mom: same cheeks and nose! Her hair’s brown, but it’s getting blonder every day.”

The pal added, “She was born for this role. Jessica knows what she’s doing.”

We’re still looking for the photos of their new addition, so we will post them as soon as they become available. Did Jessica and Eric work out a deal with one of the tabloids for the first pictures of their daughter?

It’s the birth that seems to be taking forever, but it’s time! Jessica Simpson has checked into a Los Angeles area hospital with all of her family in tow. Also present, is her fiancee Eric Johnson’s family. It’s finally happening!

Despite reports surfacing from a tabloid that Jessica gave birth weeks ago, she’s currently holed up in the hospital. It hasn’t been confirmed yet as to whether or not she has actually given birth yet — so stay tuned.

We’ve checked the Twitter accounts for Ashlee, Joe and Jessica Simpson, as well as Ashlee’s ex, Pete Wentz, but they are all radio silent. Also, there aren’t any updates on Jessica’s official website. Of course, Jessica has looked so uncomfortable since her baby bump has grown to monstrous proportions. The fashion mogul also commented that she couldn’t wait to get back into her heels.

Stay tuned — we will let you know when Maxi makes her first appearance in the world. Hopefully they’ll also take photos of their new addition! In the meantime, we are hoping with fingers crossed that everything goes well for Jessica in the delivery room.

Jessica Simpson gave birth to a baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson, in L.A. Tuesday morning, Us Weekly can confirm. This is her first child with fiance Eric Johnson. According to a source, little Maxwell (she takes her middle name from her maternal grandmother, Tina Simpson, whose maiden name is Drew) weighed in a 9 lbs. 13 ounces.

According to Us Weekly, Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi insulted fashion mogul Jessica Simpson for her size! Jessica, as you already know, is pregnant and looks like she is about to pop any moment now. Snooki is pregnant, too, but it’s still wrong to insult someone for their pregnancy size. Every woman is different, right?

The tabloid claims that Snooki said, “I would die if I were her size.”

Yes, Jessica’s bump is big enough to where she looks uncomfortable just moving around, but it’s temporary. It’s not like she got that just by eating and eating. She’s hatching a baby, y’all.

Now, Snooki is claiming that her comment was taken the wrong way. She took to her official Twitter account to defend herself. She tweeted, “I NEVER dissed Jessica Simpson you weirdo tabloids, get over it with your ‘pregnant war’ articles. I love the girl and her hot ass bump.”

It’s no secret that tabloids have been faking celebrity wars for some time now. Just ask Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston about their long rumored “love triangle”.

Snooki really isn’t one to talk about anyone’s shortcomings, is she? She’s a midget troll on Jersey Shore who humps plants and pees on dance floors. Jessica isn’t much better because of her loose lips about bodily functions, but she’s not putting people on blast for things that she can’t control.

According to the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, it appears that Jessica Simpson has given birth to her daughter!

The tabloid takes us inside Jessica’s “dramatic delivery” and talks about her agonizing choice to get a C-section over a natural childbirth. In addition, the magazine claims that the fashion mogul is using hypnosis to calm her cold sweats. The magazine also reveals Jessica’s first tearful words to her brand new baby girl.

In addition, they have an inset photo of Jessica and her fiancee Eric Johnson, stating that he gave her a $250,000 push present. Was that something she gave him the money for? Just curious.

The magazine also talks about how Brad Pitt popped the question to his fiancee Angelina Jolie. Are you curious about how he did it?

Kim Kardashian’s shock that Kanye West is an “abuser” also made the cover. Also featured is Tom Cruise’s daughter living on skid row.

Jessica Simpson looks as if she’s getting ready to pop at any moment now. She looks uncomfortable and is ready to give birth so that she can try to get her old body back. Now there are rumors floating around that Jessica is looking to fork over two million dollars on the delivery of her first child with fiance Eric Johnson.

Reportedly, Jessica is looking to really go all out and pamper herself for their daughter’s birth. Money is apparently no object to Jessica as the happy couple welcomes their daughter Maxi into the world. Even worse, she’s said to be planning on selling the first photos of the tot to a tabloid.

She was said to have rented out an entire wing of the hospital so that she won’t have any distractions when she goes to give birth. A pal said, “If her friends and family want to visit her, they’ll have to make it through numerous checkpoints!”

Jessica is also said to be hiring 30 armed guards to protect her bundle of joy 24/7. The pal said, “She’s terrified of kidnapping. Her head of security just held a pre-birth meeting for her family to brief them on the rules!”

I certainly hope that Jessica wouldn’t really spend two million dollars on just the delivery. I don’t think these reports are based in fact whatsoever. Do you?

Poor Jessica Simpson looks like she is ready to pop out that baby at any moment now. She and fiance Eric Johnson are expecting their first child together within the next three weeks, but she looks as if she’s ready to burst.

Jessica says that she can’t wait to give birth already so that she can get started on working off the 40 pounds that she has gained as a result of this pregnancy. Not only all of that, but she looks extremely uncomfortable carrying around all of that weight, doesn’t she?

She said that she has enjoyed not having to watch what she eats or work out at all, but she’s looking forward to dropping the weight to get her body back.

In a new interview, she said, “I had a great pregnancy. Eating and not having to worry too much about it has been fun. Taking a break from working out has definitely been fun. But I’m ready for it to be over. I’m ready to have my body back! I feel like I could pop at any second.”

She probably could pop at any second. During her interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the talk show host had a paramedic on standby just in case she went into labor.

Fashion mogul Jessica Simpson appears on the April cover of Elle magazine nude and pregnant and apparently the magazine cover has offended some people!

The photo above shows Jessica nude with one hand covering her breast and the other cradling her belly. This has caused some trouble for a Safeway in Tucson, Arizona after the store received some complaints about the image. This has prompted the management at the store to cover the photo with cardboard or just turn it around.

A spokeswoman for Safeway said that the manager of the store received “multiple complaints” over the image so they blocked it with cardboard to block anything that could be offensive to their customers.

Did you find the image offensive? The cover paid homage to Demi Moore’s 1991 cover of Vanity Fair where she was seen striking the same pregnant nude pose.

Here’s how it works:

Fourteen designers start off on the show in an attempt to woo the buyers from Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s and H&M to buy their clothing. If there is a buy, the clothing purchased by the stores will have the items available for purchase by consumers tomorrow.

If there is no bid, the designer risks elimination. The mentors, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos have the chance to save one of the bottom designers from getting the boot from the show.

Last week, there were some real standouts from a fashion stance. On the series premiere, we saw the elimination of Nicholas Bowes with the judges opting to save Oscar Fierro from elimination.

Tonight’s episode is called “Who’s Your Customer”, here is a preview from the network:

The designers experience a real-world test of fashion stardom – will actual shoppers buy their clothes?

The designers are given prime window space in a high-traffic area to display two new looks, but some are forced to decide whether to promote personal favorites or showcase pieces the public would favor; the retailers look for universal style.

Jessica Simpson never really had a filter before getting pregnant, but apparently it’s just going to keep getting worse from here. She has already revealed that she hops on fiance Eric Johnson at any given opportunity, leading us to wonder if this is a man who gave any thought to what he would have to go through in this life to marry a billionaire.

On Monday, Jessica appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where she talked about her pregnancy. She said, “I feel like I have a bowling ball sitting on my hoohah!”

Lovely. She went on to gross out everyone on the planet, saying, “Apparently I have a lot of amniotic fluid, so whenever my water breaks it will be like a fire hydrant!”

Umm…okay. Seriously? She’s talking about amniotic fluid on national television. Is she doing this just to promote her television show? She also told Jimmy, “I’m ready to push!”

She also talked about how she had to put her wedding plans on hold, adding that Eric “feels like my husband already” and “We are just doing it a little bit backwards.”

This broad is crazy. It’s scary to think that she still has four weeks of pregnancy left. She looks great, but very uncomfortable. Let’s hope that she ditches those high heeled shoes in exchange for something that is more suited to pregnancy. Sure, fashion is important, but not when your feet are suffering as a result.

Tonight is the season premiere of NBC’s new reality show, Fashion Star and we will be live-blogging all of the happenings as the show airs at 9:30PM EST. The show is hosted by supermodel Elle MacPherson and mentored by Jessica Simpson, John Varvatos and Nicole Richie.

The show has already selected 14 fashion designers who will all compete to create the next big fashion brand. Each week the contestants must create a piece for three buyers, Caprice Willard from Macy’s, Nicole Christie from H&M and Terron Schaefer from Saks Fifth Avenue. If the buyers decide to pick up the items created by the budding fashion designers, then they are safe in the competition for that particular week. The winners for each week will have their items sold at the buyers’ stores the day after each episode airs. Those unsuccessful in selling any of the buyers on their creations will be up for elimination. In addition, the mentors have the power to save one designer from elimination!

A heavily pregnant Jessica Simpson appears on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She looks like she’s about ready to pop any minute. It’s a good thing for her that Ellen opted to have a paramedic on the set of the show — just in case!

Imagine the ratings bonanza if Jessica went into labor during the taping. Still, Jessica said that her due date is still weeks away. Why is Jessica still sporting those insanely high heels even this late in her pregnancy?!? That’s what we want to know. She addresses that on the show, as well, joking that she should be “ticketed” for it. At least while she’s home she wears flip-flops…we can’t blame her there.

Jessica is doing the media rounds to promote her new fashion show, Fashion Star. The new reality show makes its series premiere tonight at 9:30PM. Jessica reveals that she is expecting a daughter with her football playing fiance Eric Johnson. Jessica told Ellen that she and Eric have already selected a name for their new addition, but declined to reveal what it is.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

Singer/actress turned fashion mogul Jessica Simpson says that she hopes to inspire others with her sense of style and admits to never dressing up just for herself. So it’s not for her fiancee Eric?

She revealed that she always considers others and how they would react when choosing her clothes, rather than wearing her clothing choices just for herself.

In a new interview with Elle magazine, she said, “I always wonder if what I’m wearing will be something that people would compliment, or want to wear. I don’t ever get ready just for myself, ever. Every time I think I’m gonna be photographed, I wonder if somebody will see what I’m wearing, and if it’ll help them put something together, maybe for school?”

She has her own fashion line and is looking forward to mentoring competitors on her new reality show, Fashion Star. She said, “I’d hate to be a judge – I don’t want to crush the contestants’ dreams. I’d rather help ‘em reach the best of their ability that week.”

The show makes its debut tomorrow night on NBC at 9:30PM EST. Will you be watching?

Jessica Simpson has revealed how she found out that she is pregnant by fiance Eric Johnson. The singer/actress turned fashion mogul said that she was gearing up for a night of drinking when she started to feel guilty.

In a new interview, she said, “We were going to have an all-day drinking binge. Going to ride our bikes, hang out…do naughty things. But I started feeling this overwhelming guilt. Why would I feel guilt at the idea of going out and having cocktails with my friends?”

She also talked about how she doesn’t care what the tabloids are saying when it comes to the topic of her weight. She said, “I’m still standing. I grew up very strong!”

She added, “You know, my father used to be an adolescent therapist. I remember sitting at his office, watching the girls walking in and out. Kids doing coke at sixteen…heroin. Pregnant at 14. I could see what I didn’t want to be.”

Jessica has recently revealed that she and Eric are having a daughter. She has yet to reveal the name that they have chosen for their new addition. What do you think they should name her?

2012 has only just begun, but from recent awards show appearances by our favorite celebrities, we can already see the fashion trends that are emerging. When you’re glowing like an Oscar statuette as George Clooney’s girlfriend Stacy Keibler in her golden Marchesa gown, you don’t really need any accessories to make a statement. She was only accessorizing with a gold colored clutch which matched her one-shouldered dress, but she looked as elegant as ever. The side-swept look accessorized with a golden swirl on her right hip was the look that was swiped directly from the runway — and she worked it.

This year’s fashion trends seem to be shifting toward little accessorized points of celebrity wardrobes. Case in point was Michelle Williams’ red Louis Vuitton gown, only accented by a cute diamond bow on the right side.

Both were bold colors that made a statement of elegance and grace, while others wore muted, drab colors for their appearance on the red carpet.

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland was wearing a muted mauve gown by fashion designer Alberta Feretti on the red carpet, looking drab and plain.

Her dress was left out there on its own merits without so much as a necklace, clutch or a focal point. This dress could have easily been spiced up with some color and perhaps a broach or a sash. Instead, she looks rather boring.

The Help actress Viola Davis was also one of the worst dressed for the evening, wearing a bright green colored Vera Wang dress. This dress was embellished along the bust line and left little to the imagination. As much as we love how talented this woman is, we did not love this gown on her whatsoever. Normally, we love a lot of color, but she should’ve gone more elegant.

As NBC premieres their new fashion oriented show Fashion Star, we will see new, up-and-coming fashion designers compete for the opportunity to win a multi-million dollar prize to launch their collections. What’s so good about this show is that if there is a piece that you like on the show, you can go to Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue or H&M to purchase the items the very next day.

Jessica Simpson is nearing the last trimester of her pregnancy and she and fiancee Eric Johnson are said to be divided on how their baby is born. She wants to have a C-section, while he wants her to have a natural childbirth.

She’s gearing up for a Spring baby, as she’s previously said. It was also rumored that Jess was out shopping for pink things for their impending arrival, so that must mean that they’re having a girl.

Either way, it’s not really up to the guy if he isn’t the one squeezing something the size of a football out of a place that is the size of a golf ball.

A source revealed, “Jessica initially wanted a natural birth, but changed her mind. And now she’s fighting with Eric about the delivery. He thinks the baby should have a natural water birth, while she wants to have a C-section so she doesn’t have to deal with a prolonged labor or pain.”

The source went on to say, “She’s tired of carrying the baby, feeling bloated and experiencing the usual inconveniences of being pregnant. And with the hormones really kicking in, Jessica put her foot down. If she wants a C-section, I am sure she’ll get one.”

Eric, just go with it man. She doesn’t want to wreck the downstairs fun zone.

Doesn’t it seem as if Jessica Simpson has been pregnant forever? We hope that after she gives birth, she can donate the dress she was wearing in the above photo to charity — because it is hideous. Let’s hope that wasn’t one of her own creations!

One eyewitness said that Jess was looking at the pink items. The spy said, “Jessica and her mom spent over an hour at the store. She took her time picking out the perfect baby items. She seems beyond happy about becoming a mom. She says she can’t wait to meet the baby.”

We don’t think we’ve ever seen Jessica looking so happy and pretty! She looks good, doesn’t she? Her pregnancy is obviously working well for her — she’s glowing.

On January 31st, she tweeted, “My ass is gonna waddle to the Super Bowl…who’s comin’ with me????”

Ha. Is there video of said waddling? We want to see it! She looks super happy and we’re happy for her.

It’s been rumored that the star said that she is terrified of giving birth, but has scheduled a C-section. She doesn’t want to give birth all by herself, which I can’t say that I blame her for.

Either way, she looks great. Kudos.
