Country singer Taylor Swift was left super irked by her ex-boyfriend John Mayer. Apparently she doesn’t want to be anywhere near the “Daughters” singer. We can’t really blame her, his douchiness might rub off…but she’s kind of a douche already, no?

The 23-year-old singer was furious at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 7 when she found out John was going to take the stage before her. “She said she had to go on earlier than him,” a source told Usmagazine.com and pitched a “stink” about his performance.

Taylor got her way according to the report, but she wasn’t happy about the whole evening. “John just being there irked her,” another source said, and revealed that Taylor “was just really bitter that night.”

Taylor and John dated in 2011 and true to form, she later penned the song Dear John about their failed relationship. The evening was an all-around disappointment for Taylor, who was nominated for five awards and didn’t win in a single category.

She has certainly made an entire career out of being bitter toward her exes….what do you think?

John Mayer won’t speak out much on the topic of his breakup with singer Katy Perry. Not even when prodded by someone like Ellen DeGeneres. He appeared on “Ellen” presumably to promote his music, but she tried touching on his relationship woes.

She started off by saying, “It’s nobody’s business…but…”

To that he said, “Listen. It was a very private relationship going in. It was a private relationship during and it’s a private relationship, still. I can understand asking the question. I’m on the same journey as everyone else. Coupling is a tricky thing.”

He added, “I can understand asking the question based on some previous answers I have given. But I have finally learned how to put the wall between one thing and the other. I’ve been much happier since then.”

The couple, who had been dating for the past seven months in what was their second chance at love, have again parted ways, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

The split comes less than a month after Perry, 28, was spotted wearing a ruby from Mayer, 35.

They were first linked last summer, less than a year after Perry and Russell Brand divorced. And while Mayer and Perry split briefly last August, they quickly reconciled and embarked on what seemed to be a growing love affair.

They even spent Christmas together with her family.

As recently as last month, Mayer was upbeat about the relationship, calling it “very human” and even speculating on the idea of marriage.

“I was just a jerk,” the “Speak for Me” singer says in the interview airing on CBS’s “Sunday Morning” this weekend.

The 35-year-old crooner is recovering from vocal cord surgery to treat his bout with granuloma in his throat and says he has a new perspective as he readies himself for the next stage of his career. He’s also been dating Katy Perry on and off since June 2012.

“It’s very liberating when you finally realize it’s impossible to make everyone like you,” he tells CBS’ Anthony Mason in the interview. “I wanted everybody to like me. I thought I was one shuck and jive away in every direction.”

All the bad press took a bigger toll on him than not being able to sing, he says.
