According to TMZ, actor Josh Brolin has called it quits from his wife of eight years, Diane Lane. Is anyone shocked? They were together for a long time, but they had been plagued by issues. TMZ has the scoop:
Another celebrity power couple bites the dust … Josh Brolin and Diane Lane are calling it quits on their 8-year marriage.
A spokesperson for the couple announced the two are going their separate ways — it’s unclear if they have officially filed for divorce.
Josh and Diane were married in 2004 — and have no children together.
The union hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing — just months after they tied the knot, Josh was arrested and charged with spousal battery.
What a sad announcement, but we did kind of see it coming. We’re not all that shocked…we’re more shocked that she stayed together with him this long. What do you think? Hit the comments and let us know your thoughts on their split!
UPDATE: The couple’s rep has confirmed that they are going their separate ways! People reports:
Brolin was more recently arrested for public intoxication just before midnight on New Year’s Eve 2013.
Spotted without his wedding ring the following day, Brolin, donning sunglasses, seemed unfazed by the trouble as he ate with a male friend at Sauce on Hampton in Venice, Calif.
A few days later, Lane headed to the Palm Springs Film Festival – without her husband – where she presented an award to her former Unfaithful costar, Richard Gere.
Actor Josh Brolin was busted by the police for public intoxication right before midnight on New Year’s Day. Was he having a little bit too much fun ringing in the New Year?
He was arrested for public intox in Santa Monica, California and was booked in jail there right before 3 o’clock in the morning on the first. Four hours after the arrest, he was released and given a citation. There will be no further issue with regard to the bust and the issue is pretty much dead in the water.
That had to put a damper on his evening, but we’re guessing that he will take his lumps just fine. The actor has yet to comment on the incident, but a snitch close to him has revealed that he was merely getting carried away with the fun he was having partying it up.
You win some, you lose some, eh? At least he doesn’t have any court date issues to deal with as a result of this mishap.
Will Smith made a triumphant return to box office glory over the Memorial Day Weekend, as “Men In Black III”, the third installment in the sci-fi comedy/action franchise starring Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, racked up $70 million over the four day weekend.
With it’s box office take, MIB3 has taken the top spot at the box office for the weekend, breaking the 21 day hold the superhero adventure “The Avengers” had on the top spot. MIB3 also marks Smith’s first film offering in several years. Smith had been taking some time away from Hollywood to spend time with his family, and to help his children, daughter Willow and son Jaden, launch their respective music and acting careers. MIB3 returns Smith and Jones to their roles of alien busting detectives, last seen in 2002′s MIB2. With the number 1 spot now belonging to MIB3, “The Avengers” falls to number 2 on the list, but the Marvel comics adventure still made enough box office to raise it’s total domestic gross to over $523 billion, effectively making it the fourth all time top earner, as well as only the fourth film to make over half a billion dollars.
Rounding out the top five at the box office were the movie “Battleship” which continued to underperform, earning just over $10 million, bringing it’s total earnings to $44.3 million, far less then it’s reported $200 million dollar budget. The comedy “The Dictator” was at number four with $9.6million and the Warner Brothers horror film “Chernobyl Diaries” finished fifth with $8 million. The summer stampede of blockbusters is now officially underway, as more big ticket films are coming, including the highly anticipated “The Dark Knight Returns”, as well as the reboot of the “Spider-Man” franchise.

We really can’t wait to see this movie. Josh Brolin’s impression of Tommy Lee Jones is spot on. Will you see the movie in the theaters?
The new posters for the upcoming flick Men In Black 3 have been revealed! The above photo shows the new pictures, which show Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K, along with Will Smith as Agent J.
Agent J will time travel back to visit a younger version of Agent K, played by Josh Brolin. This is to prevent a world-ending disaster from occurring, of course.
In the new movie, since they are time traveling, they had to decided on what to make the aliens from the past look like. Makeup and effects specialist Rick Baker previously revealed, “The first thing I said is that we should have retro aliens, not aliens of 2012.”
He added, “More based on B-movies of the ’50s and ’60s. So, a lot of the aliens are based on that. Space suits with fishbowl helmets and ray guns.
The movie is set to hit theaters on May 25, 2012. Also starring in the movie are Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson and Nicole Scherzinger. Stay tuned as more details about the movie are revealed!
