Famous singer Kelis is standing ground for Miley Cyrus. Why would she do that? I think I have the solution. SHE’S INSANE!!!

Kelis says, “People kinda need to get off her back. If you’re an artist and if you’re any good, your feelings are on your sleeve. Who wasn’t like that at 17, 18?”

I don’t know anyone who was like THAT at 17. My sister is not like that and she is 17 so her argument fails major.

The last thing we need is Kelis to back up Miley Cyrus. Some people may think she has talent but I don’t think she has any. Good job Miley. Whatever you did got Kelis on your side…it worked.

Rapper Kelis has been ordered by a court to pay the $5,000 for a weave that she got in 2009.

She was said to have received the expensive weave in Santa Monica, California in May 2009, but has since refused to pay the bill. The salon ended up taking her to court for the overdue bill, which she has just been ordered to pay.

Kelis failed to attend the hearing on Monday, which left the court no choice but to rule for the salon.

After PETA attacked Kelis for wearing fur, the singer told them to eff off and responded back in kind.

Now, they’ve gotten back to her, in a more calmer response:

Dear Kelis,

I hope that this finds you well. I’m writing today because we’ve been inundated with phone calls and e-mails from folks alerting us to photos of you wearing a fur hat and coat while out in London over the weekend.

Please know that animals killed for their fur endure immense suffering. Foxes, minks, coyotes, and rabbits—and even dogs and cats—are bludgeoned, strangled, genitally electrocuted, and even skinned alive for their pelts. We hope that you’ll take a moment to watch an undercover exposé of fur farms, hosted by Eva Mendes, at http://www.peta.org/FeatureEvaMendes.asp.

If you enjoy the look of fur, renowned designers, including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Stella McCartney, and Vivienne Westwood, couple fashion with compassion and use only faux fur in their lines. You think PETA attacking Kelis was nasty? My guess is that they’re going to go after Ke$ha next, after she gained enough popularity to afford this fur coat.

The “Tik Tok” singer was seen exiting the taping of “The Wendy Williams Show” on Thursday. Oh the outrage!

Oh snap. I couldn’t have said that any better if I tried. Kelis wrote a letter to PETA in response to their attack on her for wearing fur.

Here’s an excerpt:

There is no humane way to kill anything, let me start there. It’s unfortunate but it’s part of life. With that being said, I would eat pterodactyl if you found some and you told me it was meaty and delicious. And after doing a very minimal amount of research……. I found out that the founder Ingrid Newkirk is completely batty. I had a feeling but she far exceeded my expectations. I mean certifiably insane! Lol this chicks will is nuts, google it – it’s a riot! Beyond the fact that I think she’s a diabetic, which means she needs insulin, which is taken from lab pigs (I know this because my sister happens to be in veterinary school), which would be completely hypocritical. It’s like don’t abuse animals unless it can help me.

This is something different than what we would’ve expected from Kelis. This song really shows off her musical talents. The song is decent, yet I’m not sure she would be able to bump acts like Lady Gaga and Britney Spears from the pop/dance genre.
