Kelsey Grammer has revealed to Piers Morgan last night that his ex-wife Camille only married him because he was Frasier. He played the psychologist on Cheers and the spinoff show, Frasier, and Kelsey thinks that’s the only reason Camille wanted him and she had regretted marrying him only a few days after they got married.

TMZ reports:

Grammer appeared on “Piers Morgan Tonight” yesterday … and said, “[Frasier] had this great wonderful life … he was stylish … and just a little gay … Kelsey Grammer is a different story.”

But Grammer’s smile disappeared when Piers asked about the most hurtful thing Camille has said about him … and the actor replied, “She once said that I didn’t want my daughter …. that pissed me off.”

Moments later, Kelsey changed his mind … saying, “The thing that she said that hurt me the most … that hurt Kayte [his new wife] and me … is that thing about the child we lost … something about it being karma … it’s just disgusting.”

That’s sad. Let’s hope that his new wife appreciates him for who he is, instead of who he played on television.

Kelsey Grammer has pretty much made his life with new wife Kayte Walsh a public spectacle. Since divorcing former wife, Camille, the actor has become embroiled in a controversial custody battle. Reportedly, in new documents filed with the court, Kelsey was seeking custody of his son Jude, but not of his daughter Mason.

According to Kelsey, however, the media buzz surrounding his personal life is just about the only thing you’ll get to see. He said that he won’t be going down the same path as Camille in doing reality television.

Camille appears in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and has talked about her failed marriage to Kelsey. But Kelsey insists that any public display on television would be disrespectful to his new wife, Kayte.

In a recent interview, he said, “I made a conscious decision that I wouldn’t play out my personal life in front of the cameras. That’s just respectful for the situation and respectful to Kayte, as well.”

According to reports, Camille Grammer is thinking about releasing some wild sex tapes that she made with Kelsey if he reportedly doesn’t pay her some big money in their divorce. Wait, doesn’t that sound like extortion to you? Could be.

A pal of Camille’s said, “Camille fully intends on staying a very rich woman. She wants a ton of money in the settlement. Camille likes to remind Kelsey all the time that she has dirt on him. And she’s so upset over him dumping her for young flight attendant Kayte Walsh last summer — plus the fact that they’ve already gotten engaged — that she’s been dropping plenty of hints she’s ready and willing to embarrass him if he doesn’t give her a huge alimony payment.”

But then again, the source is Star magazine, so think what you want.
