David Arquette’s Dancing With The Stars Performance Video 10/17/11
by Jessica LeFevre on Oct.17, 2011, under articles

It’s 80′s Week on Dancing With This Stars and dancing seventh is David Arquette and his professional dance partner, Kym Johnson. They’re doing the Tango to Tainted Love by Soft Cell.
David does a good impression of Len, it’s hilarious. He said that he wants to show a connection to the dance. He wants to show the audience that he can really dance. Love the outfits! Do you think he’s got enough zippers???
WATCH:
They dance very nicely together, I like it. What a great performance, I can feel that he put a lot of work into it and he doesn’t look half bad, either. Very nicely done!
Len Goodman said he’s the old fuddy duddy, but it had a great eighties feel and the choreography was great. He said David has to show up or shut up and David showed up and it was fantastic.
Bruno Tonioli said it was a Tango with a rebel yell. He said that’s the way to go.
Carrie Ann Inaba said he’s improving tremendously over the weeks. What he needs to work on is musicality and he’s coming up to be a contender.
Scores:
Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 9
Bruno: 8
Total: 25/30

David Arquette & Kym Johnson’s Dancing With The Stars Week 4 Paso Doble 10/10/11 (Video)
by Jessica LeFevre on Oct.11, 2011, under articles

Dancing second on last night’s Dancing With The Stars was actor David Arquette and his professional dance partner Kym Johnson, doing the Paso Doble to the theme from Raiders Of The Lost Ark. In case you’ve missed the show last night, you can check out our official recap here.
This was a really interesting dance, as always….we thought it was pretty good. But we really like David Arquette and want him to stay in the competition, because he tries so hard. The results are well executed, as well.
Bruno Tonioli said that he loved the way David cracked his whip! The only advice he had to offer was to watch his turns.
Carrie Ann Inaba said that David saved the day! She also said that this week, there has been an incredible amount of bravado.
Len Goodman said that he liked the entry and his attitude, but afterward, it was the Temple Of Doom. The crowd boo’ed! Len said that he didn’t see the good posture or the tight buttocks (like Bruno said he did…)
Scores:
Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 7
Bruno: 8
Total: 23/30

by Jessica LeFevre on Oct.04, 2011, under articles
On last night’s performance episode of Dancing With The Stars, actor David Arquette and his professional dance partner Kym Johnson performed a Rumba. In case you’ve missed last night’s show, you can read our official recap here.
The video:
Taking to the floor last, David dedicated his Rumba to his daughter, Coco. He said that his most memorable year was the year that he became separated and fell into alcohol abuse. They danced very well and this was definitely his comeback dance.
Len Goodman started off the judge’s commentary by saying that he did a great job and he’s proud of David.
Bruno Tonioli said the dance was wonderful.
Carrie Ann said that the dance was a nice comeback and he brought back more of himself. She called the dance pure and honest.

Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 8
Bruno: 8
Total: 24/30

David Arquette & Kym Johnson’s Dancing With The Stars Jive (Video)
by Roberta Ferguson on Sep.27, 2011, under articles

Actor David Arquette and his professional dance partner, Kym Johnson, danced third on last night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars. They performed a cute and fast Jive and it was an improvement over last week’s dance (even though that was pretty well done, as well).
Check out the video:
Carrie Ann Inaba said that Carson has some competition. She said that it was a little bit “Carson-esque” and what she loved about it was that incredible enthusiasm about it that came out of him. She said that he totally let loose and let it all hang out. She commented that last week he was in his head a lot and was too serious, but this week, it all came out. She said he almost lost control a few times, but this is the direction he needs to stay in.
Len Goodman said that he is almost speechless and asked if it was time for Castle now? He said that any connection that had with a Jive was coincidence and that the technique wasn’t there. He said he liked the enthusiasm that he came out with, but it was a little bit wild and frantic.
Bruno Tonioli said they told him not to hold back and he definitely did not hold back. He said David is like a runaway train and the problem is that he went on the border of derailment. He said David lost some of the timing and technique, but he is starting to find his persona and he’s performing with confidence.
Judge’s Scores:
Carrie Ann: 6
Len: 6
Bruno: 6
Total: 18/30
What did you think of David and Kym’s Jive? Were they too harsh on him? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. If you’ve missed last night’s show, check out our recap here.
POLL: Was The Right Couple Eliminated On ‘Dancing With The Stars’?
by Roberta Ferguson on May.18, 2011, under articles

Last night’s Dancing With The Stars saw the elimination of professional dancer Karina Smirnoff and her partner Ralph Macchio. Upon our examination of the comments from our recap on the show, some thought it was unfair to oust the actor from the Semi-Finals show.
On Monday night’s show, Ralph and Karina performed the Argentine Tango first, scoring them a total of 25 points. For their second dance, they scored 23 points for their Salsa, which wasn’t as bad as the judges made it out to be. Bruno Tonioli even insulted Karina’s choice of attire, with a terrible comment. Afterward, they were pitted against Hines Ward and Kym Johnson for the first round of the newly implemented “Winner Takes All Cha Cha”.
Our friends at CelebDirtyLaundry made the suggestion that perhaps the judges were trying to rig the competition. We were thrown off by the addition of the “Winner Takes All Cha Cha”, considering that it put Chelsea over fan favorite Ralph with that extra fifteen points.
So, since the voting from the public didn’t come into play on Monday night’s show, do you think that the judges had their favorite to be in the finals? Do you think it was right of them to put Ralph up against Hines? Or would it have been more fair if Ralph went up against Kirstie? Let us know your thoughts!
Take our poll: Was the right couple eliminated on Tuesday night’s results show?
