Poor Lady Sovereign, someone didn’t get enough hugs as a child. Apparently the British rapstress spat in the face of a bouncer at a club in Australia.

I didn’t even think she was old enough to drink, yesterday it seemed like she was only 15. She was subsequently arrested for drunk and disorderly and fined $350 for spitting in the guy’s face.

She spent the rest of the evening in a cell and appeared in court on Saturday. No one could’ve fronted the bail to get her out?

Lady Sovereign agreed to play a free set at Easy Street Records in Seattle on May 21st. The performance was in support of her new CD.

After performing one song, Lady Sov tells the crowd that it sounds like crap and that she’d take their names for the concert later that evening. The audience member who filmed the video started recording when she stopped singing.
