Rumor has it that LaToya Jackson is seeking to fill Simon Cowell’s vacant seat on future seasons of “American Idol”.

According to TMZ:

We spoke to her and she tells TMZ: “I would LOVE to be a judge on ‘American Idol.’ I would love to have a chance for the public get to know the real me. I would be thrilled.”

She’s as soft as pudding, and if Idol is going to be around after Simon leaves, then they’re going to need someone mean. Another Mr. Nasty, if you will.

LaToya Jackson recorded this song, titled “Home” for her “Starting Over” album, but is now releasing it as her tribute to Michael. The album, which was slated for a summer 2009 release, has been delayed indefinitely. (continue reading…)

Michael Jackson’s sister La Toya, in a recent interview has revealed that she believes her brother was murdered.  La Toya accused a “shadowy” group of hangers-on of cutting him off from his family and friends and forcing him to sign up for 50 concerts at London’s O2 arena. (continue reading…)

We’ve been hearing reports that Michael Jackson’s death was caused by an overdose of the painkiller, Demerol. The medical examiner’s office is performing the autopsy now and we should have results soon.

We’ve also heard that law enforcement officials are seeking out Michael’s personal physician for questioning. The doctor reportedly gave Michael an injection right before his death.

Also, we’ve just learned (via TMZ) that the mother of Michael’s children, Debbie Rowe, has not given up full custody of the children as she once thought. Apparently before being able to give up your rights to any biological children, the Department of Children and Family Services must conduct a parental fitness investigation before parental rights are terminated and that didn’t happen with Rowe.
