After staying out of the social media spotlight for four tasty months, British singer Lily Allen has returned to Twitter.

Earlier today, she tweeted, “Just got back from aus, and I had a wonderful time. Setting up my new office in london, got some really exciting stuff to share with you.”

She’s probably releasing a new album. What do you think her big news is?

Lily Allen was spotted falling to the ground at the Big Day Out Festival in Australia yesterday. The British singer collapsed after performing her set at the Claremont Showground in Perth.

Dehydration or drinking or both may be the culprits of her collapse, considering the weather was pretty hot there.

When trying to make it to her car, she fell to the ground. She was wrapped in a blanket and helped to her car by an assistant. She was not injured.

Lily Allen is a saint. Not really, (after becoming the Dictator of Downloading) but in this one occasion, she did something that was very selfless.

Thursday, she fell down a flight of stairs and still managed to haul butt to perform “Hey Jude” with Paul McCartney, Take That, and Robbie Williams. She struggled through the show, which benefits Children In Need, and the show went on.

She should hire someone to carry her suitcase for her, so this doesn’t happen again. Kudos to her for still performing, even though she was injured.

Lily Allen, sick to death of fighting the fight against music piracy, has decided to setup her own record label.

Lily already has two records under her belt, now she wants to be the one getting her pockets lined from the artists.

She said, “I’m setting up a record label at the moment, getting involved in lots of different things. I think things need to change in the music industry and we need to rethink a lot of stuff.”

Then she joked that the first artists she’ll sign on her new label will be “terrible ones that work on the radio.”

Anything would beat Perez’s offering of Sliimy, wouldn’t it?

Lily Allen has just won her case against “The Sun” after it published false statements that the publishers claimed she made against other celebrities.

“The Sun” has been forced to apologize to Lily and is set to pay her £10,000 in damages.

A rep from the tabloid said, “We now accept that Lily didn’t say these things to the magazine and we apologize to Lily for the upset and embarrassment caused by repeating them.”

Is this how she’s making her money now that she’s giving up music?

A random guy on the internet, Dan Bull, wrote a nifty letter to Lily Allen in the wake of her quitting the music business over illegal filesharing.

Lily Allen has confirmed that she will not be recording another album as a followup to “It’s Not Me, It’s You”.

She says:

“Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record. I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade. The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I’m concerned, so I don’t stand to profit from legislation. Except future purchases of previously recorded material.”

A bummer for her fans, I really like her songs.

Lily Allen has just released her new video for “F**k You” from her album, “It’s Not Me, It’s You”. The song was reportedly dedicated to George W. Bush.

Lily Allen is reportedly “desperate” for a man in her life. She has supposedly resorted to begging friends to set her up with new men because she doesn’t like attending showbiz parties by herself.

A source says, “Lily hates being single – she needs a man in her life. She feels insecure going to events and hates turning up without a man. She wants someone to hold her hand for all the red carpet events she attends. She’s even asking friends to set her up on dates. She can’t seem to meet anyone, and it’s making her miserable.”

The snitch adds, “Lily’s vulnerable after her relationships failed. She is especially concerned about going on her tour without a boyfriend there for her backstage. She needs a man to take care of her, and to give her attention. Without that, she fears she’ll go off the rails.”

I call BS, I don’t think she’s THAT desperate.

Lily Allen is graciously running about wherever she is and hiding tickets to her concerts. She then hops on Twitter to give fans hints as to the ticket locations. This time, it backfired on one fan.

Yesterday, she tweeted something unfortunate when reporting a fan’s ticket find.

She said:

Be gentle people, a girl just broke her finger scrambling for those tickets.

@maudelicious won . And broke her finger.

Take it easy guys, it’s just a Lily Allen concert. I know the economy is in the crapper, but it’s not worth breaking a finger over.

Lily Allen took the stage to sing her new song, “Not Fair” on “Later…With Jools Holland.”

This song is definitely an earworm, but I think I’m going to love everything that Lily sings. She’s an original, for sure.

I’m not fond of the dress that she was wearing, but the song is really good. It sounds very vintage.

I’m not really feeling that dress or that really short hair style on her, are you? From the photo, you can see that after the show, she decided to cover up for the rain with a big gray sweatshirt.
