by Jessica LeFevre on May.03, 2011, under articles

It’s elimination night on Dancing With The Stars and it’s really anyone’s game at this point!
Len asked to see Team Chelsea’s Cha Cha again and it’s still way better than the other team’s dance. This show really all boils down to the last three minutes, which the eliminated party is revealed. In the meantime, it’s really nothing more than just a ton of fluff.
Safe:
Hines Ward & Kym Johnson
Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff
Romeo & Chelsie Hightower
Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas
Stay tuned for the rest of the scoop on who’s getting the boot from the show! Who are you rooting for???

Kendra Wilkinson serious about Dancing With The Stars
by Jed Eckert on May.03, 2011, under articles

Kendra Wilkinson is still on Dancing With The Stars (we still aren’t sure how), but now she’s insisting that it’s GO time!
In a new interview, she said, “It’s time to get stuff done. No B.S. Get it done. Come here and just be proactive and not just sit around.”
She has some pretty stiff competition in Ralph, Hines and Kirstie, so it really is anyone’s guess if this midget blonde heckling troll will finally get sent home.
She went on to say, “It’s real do or die time now. It’s any of us now. It’s all about who can survive physically and mentally.”
Of performing the Tango, she added, “I feel more comfortable with the tango because it’s not so soft and feminine. This is a little bit harder and a little bit more fun. It’s definitely more of my type of ballroom dance, rather than the Viennese Waltz.”
Perhaps she should just stick to her stripper moves? America can find and kill Osama Bin Laden, but we can’t freakin’ vote her off of this dancing show? It’s rigged, I’m convinced.

by Jessica LeFevre on Apr.26, 2011, under articles

Last night’s Dancing With The Stars had a bit of a mishap when Karina Smirnoff hit the floor in the middle of her dance with Ralph Macchio.
Now, Len asked Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel to re-do their stripper happy Samba from last night. Oh God, someone please vote this broad off already. She’s seriously awful.
American Idol castoff Pia Toscano performed I’ll Stand By You and she sounded great! I haven’t been keeping tabs on Idol at all, but I have to wonder how she was voted off at all???

Len said she fulfilled her potential tonight and she did a great job. Bruno said she made the dance look easy and that her “wiggly bum sent shockwaves through the airwaves.” Carrie Ann said she wants to see Kirstie in the finals. Score: 26

by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.12, 2011, under articles

On last night’s Dancing With The Stars, reality actress Kendra Wilkinson and her dance partner Louis Van Amstel garnered the lowest scores of the night with an 18 our of 30 points. But, as we all know, that doesn’t mean that they are going to be sent packing at the end of the night!
Kristie Alley suffered a fumble, as her shoe became undone during her Waltz. She scored 22 points for herself and dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Being as this is pretty much a popularity contest, we’re going to fathom a guess that Sugar Ray Leonard bites the dust tonight. BUT — We could be wrong!

Kendra Wilkinson almost walked off of Dancing With The Stars
by Lydia Harris on Mar.30, 2011, under articles

Moments before performing her Quickstep with Louis Van Amstel on Monday night’s Dancing With The Stars, reality star Kendra Wilkinson said that she almost didn’t dance!
She said, “There was a moment where I just wanted to walk off the stage.”
She admitted that she was nervous after watching footage of her rehearsal, showing how emotional she got about the dance. She said that she grew up as a tomboy, but now she’s dressing like a lady doing elegant moves.
She went on to say, “I’m 25 — I’m at my quarter-life crisis. I’m growing up and I’m doing it while I’m on this show. And it’s so funny – a lot of people don’t want me to grow up. They go, ‘What happened to you?’ That’s why a lot of times I’m so stressed out because when I do grow up, people push me down, and when I’m too much of a kid people are like, ‘You have to grow up.’”
Still, she persevered and once she began dancing, she started to feel more secure. She added, “The audience pushed me through tonight”, saying that the fans in the audience were shouting that they loved her and that made all the difference.
What did you think of her dancing skills?
Dancing With The Stars week two recap 3/28/11
by Roberta Ferguson on Mar.28, 2011, under articles

Dancing With The Stars is back for week two and they all have another chance to make good scores due to the fact that no one was eliminated last week!
Dancing first were Sugar Ray Leonard and Anna Trebunskaya, doing the Jive. Len commented that Sugar Ray was in jeopardy already. Bruno said that it was too soft around the edges. They scored 17 points.
Dancing next were Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel, doing the Quickstep. Len commented that her posture was a bit hit and miss. Overall, there was improvement over last week. They scored a total of 19 points.
Up next on the dance floor were Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, dancing the Jive. It was an entertaining dance, yet the judges said that there wasn’t much of a Jive to it. Carrie Ann said that she didn’t care for the choreography. They scored a total of 18 points.
Dancing the Quickstep are Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke. His dancing seemed a bit stiff, but overall, it looked like he was having fun. At points, it seemed a bit effortless for Chris, which is a bonus. They scored a total of 23 points.
Up next are Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin, doing the Jive. She did a pretty good performance. Len said, “Long legs, bad technique”, but she “did it beautifully.” They scored a total of 18 points.
Dancing next are Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing the Quickstep. They did a good job, I loved their dance, even though it wasn’t my favorite song choice…Ha. She ended the dance with a big kiss for Maks! They scored a total of 20 points.
Mike Catherwood and Lacey Schwimmer are up next, doing the Jive. He was truly awful and slow and stiff — and that’s being kind. Obviously, this guy needs to stick to radio. They scored a total of 17 points.
Dancing next are Romeo and Chelsie Hightower, doing the Quickstep. They looked cute and a little disconnected. He looked like he was about to mess up at any minute. They scored a total of 23 points.
Next up are Wendy Williams and Tony Dovolani doing the Quickstep. This dance wasn’t very quick, considering that it’s a Quickstep. Too many props, too, in my opinion. They scored a total of 17 points.
Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff danced the Jive next. They did really well, the dance was fast and fun! He’s 49 and he’s dancing like he’s 20. You go, Karate Kid! They scored a total of 21 points.
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson danced the Quickstep next. They did decent, but not spectacular. I can see him doing better in a ballroom styled dance, instead of something that was supposed to be so fast. They scored a total of 23 points.
Who are you rooting for???

Donny Osmond wins ‘Dancing With The Stars’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.24, 2009, under articles
The season finale of “Dancing With The Stars” is tonight, and we’re all so excited to see Whitney Houston perform tonight. So far, the highlight of the show happened when they cut to Miss Piggy during the recap. At least Tom Burgeron knows how to recover!
Whitney Houston killed it! She brought the house down when she did “Million Dollar Bill”! You go girl!
[Enter boring dance by the losers here -- I'm looking at you, Macy Gray]
The contestants will get another chance for some points from the judges in a final dance. Kelly and Louis are dancing the Viennese Waltz for their final dance and it’s just lovely. Good job Kelly! The judges raved about her performance and the crowd started chanting her name. Be proud, Kelly.
Mya and Dmitry did the Jive for their final dance and rocked it. Bruno said she never skipped a beat, and he’s right.
Donny and Kym are doing the Argentine Tango next, and they’re hooking it up! What a great dance and Marie looks so proud!
Scoring:
Kelly and Louie – 26
Mya and Dmitry – 28
Donny and Kym – 30
[Enter boring dance-off from Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin. Spoiler Alert: They both win a ring.]
Finding themselves in third place are Kelly and Louis. Surprise. Even she didn’t think she was going to win it all. She was gracious, too. Good for her!
In second place, are Mya and Dmitry, leaving the winner’s spot to Donny and Kym! Congrats to them!
Kelly Osbourne doesn’t think she’ll win ‘Dancing With The Stars’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.24, 2009, under articles
After falling on her tush last night, Kelly Osbourne says that she doesn’t think she’s going to win the Mirror Ball trophy on tonight’s “Dancing With The Stars” finale.
She danced with partner Louis Van Amstel to Gloria Gaynor’s song (redone, of course) “I Will Survive”, but we should take that with a grain of salt. Maybe she will survive even if she doesn’t win the trophy?
When speaking with “Us Weekly”, Kelly said, “I definitely came into this competition raw and I don’t think I’m gonna win.”
Of exactly what happened during the dance where she fell, she said, “There were so many mistakes. Right before we did our group megamix, they covered us in this stuff called Body Gleam, the sparkly stuff. I might as well have put baby oil on myself!”
Louis added, “It was so slippery! I knew she was going to get taken down when we did the helicopter.”
Still, she had nothing but positivity about the entire experience, adding, “I was so happy. I had so much fun, I wish every night was like this!”
Afterward she jokingly said, “Unless things go really wrong, and I wind up back on drugs, dancing on a pole, I really don’t think I’ll ever do this much dancing again!”
Let’s hope for the best Kelly. Who got your votes last night?

Kelly Osbourne on tonight’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.16, 2009, under articles
Kelly Osbourne danced the Rhumba with partner Louis Van Amstel on tonight’s “Dancing With The Stars” and it was okay…
It’s the semi-finals tonight and the dancers are all doing three dances. She scored a total of 24 for her first dance. Not too shabby, but her solo dance was a bit awkward. Kudos to her on the final move of the dance, though.
For dance number two, Kelly and Louis are doing the Quickstep. They’re doing a really good job on this dance, which they are killing to Nena’s “99 Red Balloons”. Louis almost dropped her, but it was still good. They received a total score of 27.
For their knockout dance, Kelly and Louis have chosen the Cha Cha Cha. It was very short, but her outfit was adorable. I love the headband, too. But this isn’t “Dancing With The Headwear”…so we’ll see if they make it to the finals. They scored a total of 27. I can imagine it was very difficult dancing after having injections in her feet earlier today.
What do you think? Will she make it?

Aaron Carter ousted from ‘Dancing With The Stars’
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.10, 2009, under articles
Singer Aaron Carter has been ousted from dancing competition “Dancing With The Stars” tonight, after his Foxtrot and 90′s Samba failed to impress the viewing public.
That leaves us with the top four for the competition, Mya and Dmitry, Donny and Kym, Kelly and Louis, and Joanna and Derek.
Did he cry?!???
I’m predicting Kelly Osbourne gets the boot next, but it really is anyone’s game.
