Lady Gaga and her drummer boyfriend Luc Carl broke up for a hot minute, but the good news is, they’re officially back together!

About a month ago, the songstress told Graham Norton on his show that she didn’t have a boyfriend. But, that was then — and this is now!

Now, she admits that she was stretching the truth about the breakup story. In a new interview, she said, “I sometimes skirt questions about it – and maybe not honestly.”

A friend of the singer said that the twosome did have a brief slit. The source said, “They had a little fight. I think the breakup lasted a week or two.”

The snitch revealed, “They are totally back together now.”

We’ve heard reports that there was a huge concept for the video with mermaids, but it was scrapped at the last minute by Gaga herself. Just days after she announced her split from ex-boyfriend Luc Carl, she has revealed that the song was about a lover who broke her heart.

The video contains biblical themes as she plays the role of Mary Magdalene with Jesus and Judas in a biker gang. Christian groups bashed the singer for the imagery in the video. Now, Gaga says that the religious overtones in the video hide a deeper personal meaning behind the lyrics.

In a new interview, she said, “I’ve had a lot of ex-boyfriends betray me – a**holes, we all have them. I began to write a song about an ex-lover who betrayed me, who loved heavy metal music.”

She went on to reveal, “And then I thought about the biblical implications and how Judas was the betrayer. And once I thought about what I wanted to do with the video. Judas didn’t really betray Christ because he was part of the prophecy. So I thought a more liberating way to tackle the message of the song – we attack the idea by saying my ex betray me and this person haunts me, but I forgive them.”

Lady Gaga has broken things off with her former boyfriend, Luc Carl, according to reports.

In an interview on The Graham Norton Show that airs later today, Gaga said, “No, I don’t have a boyfriend and haven’t been on any dates recently.”

The couple had dated back ni 2005, but went their separate ways once Gaga reached fame. In 2010, they got back together and he globetrotted with her during her Monster Ball concerts.

Perhaps she broke up with him on May 9th when she wrote this tweet, “‘I need a man who thinks it right when it’s so wrong, right on the limits where we know we both belong’. 2.5 hours until glory.”

It has to be said: Maybe it was just a Bad Romance? We may never know!

According to reports, Luc has accompanied Gaga around the world for her Monster Ball Tour, but has one night a week that she likes to keep for herself. Reportedly, she also insists on booking them separate hotel rooms because shse feels that sharing a bed together every night would hurt her creativity.

A source said, “She calls it her 16th century monarch night as she doesn’t always allow Luc to sleep in bed with her. She just summons him when she needs him.”

A source close to Luc said, “Luc is so respectful and sees Gaga as his soulmate, not just a lover. He knows she’s the one and can’t wait to settle down and have kids with her. She feels he makes her complete. As a couple, it’s second-time round for these two. It was largely a physical attraction before, but now they’re completely absorbed in one another, physically and emotionally. So they want to prove their commitment by getting married.”

Gaga has been busy touring, but the couple is making plans for dates afterward. The source added, “This tour has been epic. It meant Gaga and Luc couldn’t see as much of each other as they liked. They care about each other so much. They’re thinking of dates when she’s finished touring. In the past, they’ve even discussed getting married in a castle in Britain.”

She’s still young, she’s got plenty of time to latch herself onto a ball and chain. I’m not buying it one bit. Are you?

Reportedly the singer met his parents over the Christmas holiday, and there were even reports that they had gotten engaged. She rebuffed the engagement reports after calling into Ellen DeGeneres’ show. She said, “No! I’m not engaged. That’s so ridiculous!”

A snitch close to the couple says that we shouldn’t expect to see a wedding anytime in the near future. The source said, “Gaga and Luc are fighting a lot. Their relationship has never been perfect – it’s always been tumultuous — but now it’s hanging by a thread.”

Luc isn’t winning over her friends, either. The source said, “When she and Luc were catching up with her old pals in New York over New Year’s, he made zero effort to get to know the. He sat in the corner at the bar and pretended like no one else was there. Meanwhile, she was so happy to see everyone catch up.”

Reportedly, her friends think that he’s using her because she’s famous.

Luc Carl is back together with Lady Gaga and it’s being said that he’s only using her. Ugh, I hope this isn’t true.

I’ve checked out his website and it seems rather decent enough. He’s a running enthusiast who digs rock and roll. He seems right up her alley. I hope that they’re together for the right reasons. Lady Gaga is fierce, she deserves the best!
