Madonna is multi-talented!

The singer is dipping into the retail fashion market and is gearing up to release her own Material Girl line of clothing.

Celebrity Clothing Line reports:

Expect to see a juniors’ line called “Material Girl” in Macy’s which will be launched in August. Madonna gave a brief statement:

“Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me. I look forward to working closely with Neil and his team to create and translate my vision and ideas for MG Icon.”

The clothing line includes apparel, footwear, handbags and jewelry and is aimed for teens and young adults, ranging in age from 13 to 25. The line is reportedly inspired by Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes.

Has Madonna traded in hot Brazilian boy toy Jesus Luz for a hotter model? As in, Adam Senn?

Madge paired up with the model for the Oscars party circuit last night, instead of her usual fella. Twelve months ago, Madge was seen all over the place with Jesus, but this year, she’s got a new guy on her arm. It seems suspicious.

A source said, “Madonna brought Jesus to the Oscar parties last year but she wants to do it her way this year. She and Adam got on well while shooting for D&G and she’s smart enough to know that being seen together will generate more buzz for the campaign.”

Indeed.

Madonna has reportedly helped her young boyfriend, Jesus Luz, secure a record deal. She was said to have used her influence in helping him with his modeling career, and now she has even agreed to let Warner Brothers use some of her back catalog in ads in exchange for signing him to their label.

Jesus’ first single is titled, “We Came From Light” and will be released this summer.

A source said, “Madonna was determined to give Jesus all the help she can. She holds a lot of sway at Warners, where she had a deal until very recently. But getting him on the books wasn’t completely plain-sailing. There was a little give and take between her and execs, but a compromise was eventually settled upon.”

The source added, “Madonna really wants Jesus’ career to take off. She’s been going through her Filofax and putting him in contact with as many of her influential pals as she can. She’s worked with Victor [Calderone] for a very long time and he understands just what she likes. Having him work on Jesus’ tracks will give them a cool cachet which is essential to building a clubland buzz.”

I hope he can sing!

Madonna is building a really expensive school in Malawi, the only problem — she’s displacing 200 residents as a result.

She has already shelled out more than $115,000 to each displaced resident to compensate them for their homes, but why should they get the boot just because she was given their land by the government?

An official from the commissioner’s office said, “The district commissioner for Lilongwe told the villagers to move off the land and make way for the construction of the academy because it was government land reserved for development projects.”

I guess money talks.

Rumor has it that Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary is being considered as a replacement for Simon Cowell on “American Idol”.

A source said, “Guy has been in the music business since Madonna discovered him when he was 17, and he has a lot of the same experience as Simon. His competition just can’t live up to his level of experience and the people behind the show are slowly starting to realize it.”

I still want Howard Stern to be his replacement. The Shock Jock has already said that he would do it for $100 million. It’s too bad that Ellen DeGeneres doesn’t feel the same way.

It’s obviously becoming a sinking ship, the producers of the show will need a really big name to up the ante to keep viewership. Who do you think they should pick?

Even though it was reported earlier in the week that Jesus Luz came to his senses and broke things off with Madonna, we’ve heard otherwise.

NY Daily News has more:

“They were all over each other and were even kissing in front of everyone,” a spy on the other side of the pond dishes of the duo, who snuck into the famed Harry’s Bar around 11 p.m. “They looked like they were still very much an item,” although the snitch added that while Jesus snuck out right before the party ended, Madonna stayed until the venue closed.

The rumor was that it was his idea. Maybe Madge doesn’t want it to go down like that?

According to sources, baby Jesus has split from Madonna!

Jesus Luz was said to have initiated the split, citing their age difference along with their busy schedules.

A source said, “It not only was totally amicable, but it was Luz who initiated the split. Apparently, the 23-year-old Brazilian realized their age difference and overall lack of mutual interests nixed a long-term relationship.”

Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana had to give hiring Madonna a second thought, because they felt that hiring the singer would damage their friendship.

Gabbana told “W” magazine, “There was sort of fear on our behalf of asking Madonna to do anything business. We thought it could impact our relationship, and Madonna is one of the few people we’re really in awe of. To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true.”

Her ads look tasteful and pretty, Steven Klein did a fantastic job with the photography.

Despite rumors floating around that Madonna is going to have Jesus’ baby and his little slip of the junk yesterday, Madge is trying to take the focus off of her boytoy.

In her new ad for Dolce & Gabbana, the singer is wearing a low, boob showing top, while petting her kitty. (That did not sound right at all).

Rumor has it that Madonna wants to have a baby with her Brazilian model boytoy Jesus Luz.

A friend of Madge’s said, “She says motherhood is her greatest achievement and the most fulfilling thing in her life. She knows that, at 51, it’s going to be harder to conceive naturally. But she is Olympic-athlete fit and is ready for the challenge.”

As far as Jesus is concerned, apparently it was his idea. The snitch added, “Jesus is very religious and deeply in love with her. He adores her kids but has always wanted a child of his own. He told her fatherhood would be his greatest adventure and that he wanted to go on this journey for her.”

Awww…that would be so cute, if he weren’t a fetus himself.

Even though Madonna had dinner with her ex-husband, Sean Penn, the former couple are not reuniting. Praise the lord, baby Jesus is safe.

Madge was spotted having dinner at Adour restaurant last Thursday when Sean happened to be there. She invited him to sit for a little bit. He stayed for about ten minutes and then left.

Her publicist said, “Madonna was at the St. Regis having dinner with friends. Sean stopped by the table to say hello. He sat for ten minutes and then left. Madonna continued with her dinner. That’s all it was.”

Madonna won’t be kept down for long, as you can plainly see. After her campaign ended with Luis Vuitton, she has moved on to modeling for fashion giant Dolce & Gabbana.

Madge channels her favorite Italian actress Monica Vitti in the new poses, of which Stefano Gabbana said she was a perfect match.

Remember the ads featuring Madonna in some goofy pose with a Luis Vuitton purse hanging from her shoe? Well those days are over. They’ve got some fresh meat to handle their brand and aren’t looking to her old butt anymore.

LV has kicked Madge to the curb in favor of another much younger model, Lara Stone. Marc Jacobs said, “To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty…It had to be Lara Stone.”

Don’t bust out the hankies to cry any tears for her, she still got paid.

Adam Lambert made his awards show debut at tonight’s American Music Awards, at the Nokia Theater. He performed his first single, “For Your Entertainment”, and while it was a bit risque, I don’t see what the big deal is.

He was new to the awards show stage and yet he still took some risks. He made out with a guy after shoving another guy’s face into his nether regions.

It was risque when Madonna did “Vogue” in the nineties, as well. She lifted up her dress for a guy’s face, shoved two guys’ faces into her chest and let another squeeze her boobs. So what’s the difference? This was the nineties.

Tonight, Adam Lambert kissed a guy, fondled a girl (shocker!) and shoved some guy’s face in his crotch. Is this really a big deal?

He talked to “Rolling Stone” about the possible censorship of the re-broadcast of the AMAs. He said that if the west coast broadcast of the show was censored, it would be “discrimination.”

He’s absolutely correct. It wasn’t that big of a deal, so put your big girl panties on and relax.

Madonna doesn’t want to meet the parents of her latest boytoy, Jesus Luz, probably because they’d be around the same age.

She recently jetted off to Brazil and it was rumored that she was there to meet his family, but she says that’s not the case.

She made sure everyone knows that she’s helping the poor, instead of doing the traditional “meeting the parents” thing.

She said, “I am going there strictly for fundraising and humanitarian purposes.”

Former bassist for New Order and Joy Division, Peter Hook, has referred to Madonna as “horrible” along with calling her “like a Black Widow” spider. Oh how nice, and why don’t you tell us how you really feel.

He said that he met Madge on the night of her first British concert at Manchester nightclub, The Hacienda, and said that she was “horrible” and that she “used people.”

He said, “Madonna’s like a Black Widow spider. She tends to use people, then they shrivel up and disappear.”

When asked if she would perform again when the club opened later in the evening, she was less than nice. He added, “She was horrible. She sat there with her back to us, and Rob went up and said, ‘We were wondering if you wanted to appear later at the club’, and she just went, ‘F**k off.’”

Is it just coincidence that he just got his nightclub book published? Talk about using people, he’s using her name to stay relevant. Well played, sir.

The rumored name for Madonna’s “Hard Candy” album was said to be “Licorice”, but according to sources, Madge had other plans for the album.

She originally planned to call the album, “Black Madonna”, showing her posing in black face makeup with red lips, but rejected it. I guess she wanted to be controversial, but not that controversial. Madonna took a moment and thought, “Hmmm…do I wanna alienate people? No? Okay, let’s scrap it.”

In an interview with “Rolling Stone”, she said, “I painted my face black, except for red lips and white eyes. It was a play on words. Have you ever heard of the Black Madonna? It has layers of meaning, and, for a minute, I thought it would be a fun title…Then I thought, ’25 percent of the world might get this, probably less, it’s not worth it.’”

Smart move on her part, because the other 75 percent might’ve been screaming “racist”.

Madonna was on the air with Ryan Seacrest when she talked about her love life, the new “Celebration” DVD, Ryan Seacrest being a boyfriend for her, and of course, Kanye West.

Madonna is reportedly set to do a duet with Janet Jackson as a tribute to Michael Jackson. They were said to have bonded over dinner after Sunday’s VMAs.

Janet performed “Scream” which was a duet with Michael, and then we saw Madonna’s touching tribute to him.

A source said, “It was a meeting of two great musical minds. Madonna was so impressed with Janet’s tribute to Michael that they started talking about how great it would be to honor him by doing something together…There was definitely something very interesting being planned between them.”

I’d buy it. Would you?

Madonna was among the artists who paid tribute to Michael Jackson at the Video Music Awards. She said some really insightful things about meeting him, knowing his legacy, and seeing him as a human being.
