John Travolta & Kelly Preston To Divorce: National Enquirer Report
by Jed Eckert on May.23, 2012, under articles

John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s supposed divorce drama appears front and center on the latest cover of the “National Enquirer”. Last week, the tabloid “exposed” his “twisted double life” and now the magazine is claiming that John and Kelly are headed to splitsville. There’s only one problem with that: the truth.
As we’ve reported just two days ago, despite the rumors to the contrary, Kelly and John are not divorcing. It was said that she was leaving him because of all of the lawsuits that are surmounting against him. Since, we’ve learned that’s just not the case.
An insider said recently, “Kelly has endured rumors about John’s sexuality for years. She has learned to ignore them. She’s made of sterner stuff. She and John have been through so much together. I don’t for one second believe the rumors she wants to divorce him. Kelly’s not going anywhere.”
It’s interesting how the “National Enquirer” can take party photos with John as a cross-dresser from 1997 and claim that Kelly is now divorcing him because of them. How handy. Real truth. Perhaps the tabloids should try that once in a while. Just a suggestion.
Kim Kardashian Covers OK! Magazine’s April 23rd Issue
by Lydia Harris on Apr.11, 2012, under articles

Reality TV actress Kim Kardashian is featured on the front cover of the April 23, 2012 issue of OK! Magazine with the title Diets That Work. So they’re basically pimping out her association with QuickTrim? Anytime that Kim and weight loss are mentioned in the same sentence, it usually has something to do with the diet pills that she’s always blathering on about.
Also featured in the magazine are Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett, Christina Aguilera and Miley Cyrus with all of their diet secrets that work. The tabloid touts “Their easy weight loss secrets will slim you down fast – without skipping dessert!”
The magazine thinks it can help the average woman lose ten pounds in ten days, which sounds unhealthy. What do you think? And of course, we already know Miley’s secret for losing weight. She said on Twitter that she’s been doing Pilates and has gone Gluten-free in her diet. So there’s some free advice if you would like to try it.
Kendra told the magazine, “I definitely watch what I eat. My goal is to eat as many vegetables and fruits as I can.”
She also revealed, “I put asparagus, spinach, broccoli, strawberries, pineapple, orange juice and some ice in the blender and drink it all throughout the week. It’s so good!”
Also featured in this issue are Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux fighting. In addition, they reveal that Rihanna is begging Ashton Kutcher to take her back.

Joe Manganiello Covers Out Magazine (Photo)
by Jessica LeFevre on Feb.21, 2012, under articles

True Blood’s resident werewolf Joe Manganiello covers the latest issue of Out magazine — and he’s looking good!
The actor goes from playing werewolf Alcide Herveaux to playing a stripper named Big Dick Richie in the new movie Magic Mike.
He has previously discussed the stripper role, giving us little tidbits of information about his move to the stage. He said, “Big Dick Richie? That’s the reason to do it. There’s definitely a scene that will answer those questions. Everybody kinda does their own thing..Big sexy Kevin Nash has his Tarzan thing, I’ve got my fireman thing, Matt Bomer’s got a doctor thing going on, Adam Rodriguez does a Latino lover bit.”
He also said that he won’t be letting his family see the flick anytime soon. He said, “I told them a few weeks ago that no one is seeing this movie. They’ll probably see it anyway, but at least they’ve had two seasons of True Blood to get used to it.”
He added that there will be no frontal nudity in the movie, saying, “You are going to see a surprising amount. Shocking amount, actually.”
What do you think of Joe’s cover of the magazine? Sound off in the comments and let us know your thoughts!

Whitney Houston To Be Eulogized By Marvin Winans
by Jessica LeFevre on Feb.15, 2012, under articles

Whitney Houston is featured on the latest cover of Us Weekly, with a feature on her “sad final days”. Whitney was found unconscious in the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11th, after it was said that she mixed Xanax and alcohol. Whitney’s had a long past with drugs, famously saying “crack is whack” back in a 2010 interview.
The late singer’s funeral is set for Saturday in her hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Her mother, Cissy Houston has requested that gospel singer Marvin Winans perform her eulogy. He also officiated her wedding to Bobby Brown in 1992.
Pastor Joe Carter, who is leading the service, said, “She was able to leave us with so many wonderful memories of that God-given gift. That’s what we are celebrating on Saturday.”
New Hope Baptist Church has seating for 1,500 people and the Pastor revealed that he expects “all these empty pews to be filled with people whose hearts are broken.”
We hope that she has found peace from all of her demons. Her talent was one-of-a-kind and will be missed greatly. We grew up listening to Whitney all throughout the nineties. It is such a shame that she had to go out like that. We send our condolences and prayers to their family in this tough time.
Inside Whitney Houston’s Secret Pain
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.15, 2012, under articles

Late songbird Whitney Houston covers the latest issue of People magazine.
Whitney was born in Newark, New Jersey on August 9, 1963 and by the time she was eleven years-old, she was singing in her church’s junior gospel choir. Before all of the fame that stardom brings got to her, she was a sweet, young girl, who family called “Nippy”.
Photographer Bette Marshall said, “She was everyone’s dream daughter. She was sweet. She sang in church. And you knew she’d be a superstar.”
Whitney had her demons, but we didn’t realize that dealing with her image of being America’s Sweetheart was a struggle for her. A record executive who worked with Whitney said, “She was in pain from living almost a double life. She wanted to be down with her community. That’s who she really was. But because of her career, she also had to portray this pure pop princess in gorgeous gowns, singing songs the white community adored.”
I don’t know why this suddenly became an issue of race. We are sure that the white community wasn’t the only ones who loved her music. Either way, on February 11, 2012, we lost a true talent. Rest in peace, Whitney. Your talent will be missed.
Kim Kardashian Covers Allure Magazine’s March 2012 Issue (Photos)
by Jed Eckert on Feb.14, 2012, under articles

Reality television star Kim Kardashian graces the cover of the March 2012 issue of Allure magazine. In the magazine, she talks of her aspirations to have a family, reality television and any limitations she might have allowing herself to be filmed all of the time.
On her family aspirations, she said, “Do I want kids of my own? Absolutely. But I don’t know if that’s what’s meant for me. Maybe I’ll just work, work, work and not think about it.”
On what it’s like to watch her life unfold on her television show, she revealed, “Is it tough to watch? Yeah. Tough to see an unhappy time in your life. Do I think there are more haters than before? Not really. But I think this has given them a platform to have a louder voice. Will I be more private of a person? Am I more guarded? Absolutely. But, also, I’m a firm believer that my show is who I am.”
On the topic of having limits with the cameras, she said, “People think because you film your life on a reality show, you live everything for the cameras. But we all have limits. When I saw Khloe and Lamar get married – and they had their wedding on TV – I thought, Oh, my gosh, that’s so exciting! That’s what I want! If you were to ask me now, that’s not what I want.”
She added, “Divorce definitely made me want to be more private with my relationship, whenever I choose to get into one again. I’m not ready, but when that time comes, I’ll be more cautious about who I let my world open up to.”
It’s almost as if the interviewer really didn’t have to ask Kim much, she would just conduct the entire interview herself. What do you think?

Angelina Jolie Covers Australian Marie Claire March 2012 – Photo
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.10, 2012, under articles

Angelina Jolie covers the March 2012 issue of Australia’s Marie Claire magazine to discuss her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood And Honey.
Of the movie, she wanted to honor the lives of those stories that she captured on film, but it sent her into panic mode a few times. She said, “For them, it was hard to revisit, but it was something they had the strength to do – a strength that I don’t know.”
She also spoke of the opportunity to work with other actresses. She said, “It was nice for me to play with other girls. I don’t really have girlfriends in movies, if you’ve ever noticed. Well, I have a few girlfriends. I just — I stay at home a lot. I’m just not very social. I don’t do a lot with them.”
She went on to discuss the movie’s real life events, in which the Serbian soldiers would have the older ladies disrobe in front of them, in order to humiliate them. She said, “I was so nervous. I must have gone up to them four times with the translator to say, ‘We are just going to do this once and we’ll get a genuine reaction. Please don’t think they are really laughing at you.’ I was such a mess!”
She said, “I told them they should go home to rest and they said, ‘Why? Did we not do a great job?’ I panicked and yet they were so professional.”
Have you seen her movie yet? If so, what were your thoughts?
Reese Witherspoon Covers Glamour UK’s March 2012 Issue (Photo)
by Jessica LeFevre on Feb.06, 2012, under articles

Reese Witherspoon covers the March 2012 issue of Glamour UK, where she spoke of plastic surgery, her underwear scene in her new movie and being frugal.
On her feelings towards plastic surgery:
“I’m not for it. I’m not against it. I have plenty of friends who do stuff and if it makes you feel good, great. But I don’t think it’s the fix for some sort of unease that you’re having about who you are as a human being. I don’t think I need plastic surgery at this point. Can we just go day-by-day on that one?”
On her underwear scene in ‘This Means War’:
“I don’t worry about it. I have the body I earned. I had two kids and I’m still strong and healthy. And you start to have a different respect for your body the older you get. Instead of tearing yourself apart all the time, you start to go ‘Oh wow!’”
On being frugal:
“I have this fixation about this black leather The Row purse, but it’s so prohibitively expensive, I will not allow myself to buy it. I literally go to the store to visit it. Too much money – it feels decadent. I can’t wrap my brain around it. If I bought it, I’d only feel upset about it and take it back.”
We have to agree…we don’t think she needs any type of plastic surgery in the foreseeable future. Do you?
Christina Aguilera Covers Latina Magazine’s March 2012 Issue (Photo)
by Lydia Harris on Feb.06, 2012, under articles

The Voice judge Christina Aguilera covers the March 2012 issue of Latina magazine in which she talks about the show, her father and being a Latina woman.
On getting married and divorced at a young age: “Was I too young? Not at all. I did the exact right thing at the time….I definitely wasn’t too young. I have always been older than my age.”
On growing older: “I was on the set of a film and the choreographer was 19 and I looked around at all the dancers and I was like, ‘Whoa! I’m the oldest person in this room. When did that happen?’”
On reconnecting with her father: “I’ve talked about how rough things were for me and I’m sure he’s heard it. He can’t be thrilled about it. So maybe one day we can do lunch…I’m 31 years old now. Maybe it’s time.”
On resting up from the intensity of shooting The Voice: “When I’m shooting The Voice, it’s intense. On a day like today, my ex has my son and we are not shooting, so I slept and I just slept. I love doing everything in my bed. Eating, sleeping…It’s my domain and my throne…I do it all in my bed.”
On how she handles gossip and brutal reviews: “I don’t read them. Ever…Why read what people are saying—good or bad?”
On criticisms of not being Latina enough: “I’ve dealt with that my whole life. I don’t speak the language fluently. And I’m split right down the middle, half Irish and half Ecuadorean. I should not have to prove my ethnicity to anyone. I know who I am.”
On planning another Spanish-language album: “All I know is no one can tell me I’m not a proud Latina woman…I dove headfirst into a Spanish-language album for that reason and I’m planning another one even though I don’t speak the language. I’m sure that doesn’t sit well with some people.”
Selena Gomez Covers Cosmopolitan’s March 2012 Issue (Photo)
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.29, 2012, under articles

Disney starlet Selena Gomez covers the March 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine where she shares secrets of her mega-star success!
What’s strange for us is to see Selena on the cover of Cosmo. Her fans are still into the whole Disney scene and might not be ready to see their idol next to cover stories on guaranteeing your orgasm and naughtiest stories sent in by readers.
Do you think this is too racy and explicit for Selena to appear next to? Will it move her in the right direction of trying to get an older audience? Or will it infuriate those parents who still buy their kids her CDs?
What do you think? Is this that big of a deal? Sound off in the comments and let us know your thoughts!
In Touch Weekly: 101 Red Carpet Blunders
by Jed Eckert on Jan.19, 2012, under articles

Hey, remember that time when Madonna accidentally stepped on the train of Jessica Biel’s dress? Oh wait, that was just this past Sunday at the 2012 Golden Globes. Apparently, In Touch Weekly has no Brangelina or Jennifer Aniston baby news to report, so they went with 101 Red Carpet Blunders for their latest issue.
Featured on the cover is Madge unsuspectingly stepping on Jessica’s high-cut dress on Sunday. Along with that, Jennifer Lopez showed up to some event wearing a see-through dress with nothing on underneath.
Nicole Kidman once showed up to the red carpet looking like she dusted her face in cocaine…or she should’ve fired her stylist. Also on the cover is Jessica Alba showing a little more skin than she likely bargained for and Kate Winslet rocking some eighties hairstyle. Why? Because she’s rich and she can, that’s why.
Speaking of Brad Pitt and his partner of six years, Angelina Jolie — apparently she has been mocking him. And of course, this week’s issue would not be complete with a side of Russell Brand and Katy Perry tell all drama. We reported yesterday that he was considering publishing a book about their “darkest marriage secrets”.
Overall, this list would have been a lot smaller had any of these celebrities opted to check a mirror with some bright lighting in their super expensive mansions. And the Brangelina reference? They sell magazines, plain and simple.

Kristen Stewart Covers ‘W’ Magazine (Photo)
by Jessica LeFevre on Aug.12, 2011, under articles

Breaking Dawn actress Kristen Stewart graces the latest cover of W magazine’s Fashion issue. She’s looking super glam on the cover in light pink shades and a poofy seemingly sixties inspired hairstyle.
They really dolled her up and accentuated her features for this photo shoot, didn’t they? She looks great! It’s a nice change from her normal jeans and t-shirt style. I love it.
Her makeup is done very well and her hair is gorgeous. She should do a sixties themed movie with this look, she’d totally pull it off — don’t you think?
What do you think of this new look? Love it or hate it? We give it two thumbs up! She looks pretty and glam. We say, YOU GO GIRL!
I bet her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, is digging this cover, don’t you think? It’s simple and so elegant!

Snooki covers Rolling Stone – Photo
by Lydia Harris on Mar.02, 2011, under articles

Snooki is on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine — and we’re still trying to figure out why. Wasn’t there a time when Rolling Stone was for rock stars from Mars? Heck, if they wanted to be completely disassociated from the world of music, they could’ve always put Charlie Sheen on the cover. Now that’s an issue that I’d buy!
She gave an interview inside the magazine and talked about Jersey Shore, spinoffs and how the show is just like prison. Oh yay.
On the topic of the show, she said:
If I do something stupid, which is pretty much the whole time, I hate it. I just hate it. Obviously, they’re only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I’m seeing is me drunk and falling down. That’s how I am when I party, but some of the stuff I do is, like, ‘Really, Nicole?’ I look like a freakin’ alcoholic. I’m like, ‘You’re sweating, your makeup is running, you look gross.’ I just look like sh*t.”
On her plans after becoming a troll midget on television:
“When Jersey Shore ends I’m going to do more spinoffs. If MTV doesn’t want them, another network will be, like, ‘What does Snooki do now?’ or ‘Snooki’s getting married!’ What i’d like is to turn out like Jessica Simpson, with her whole brand. She makes millions….I’m trying to build an empire, because after this I can’t get a normal job. I mean, how do I go and sit behind a desk?”
On how the show is just like prison:
“It messes with your head. That’s why we go crazy. That’s why we fight with each other. That’s why we drink. We’re living in a house for two months with that sh*t. We can’t have cellphones, TV, radio or the internet. If the president died, we’d have no idea. There’s no normalcy. It’s just like prison, with cameras.”
Madness. We’d all be happy if she just went away already!
Miley Cyrus: Destroyed by daddy
by Jed Eckert on Feb.23, 2011, under articles

Earlier this week, we heard the news that Billy Ray Cyrus went to GQ for an interview and spilled his guts about Hannah Montana destroying his family. He said that he wished the show never happened (even though he made bank from it) and that he’s scared for his daughter Miley.
It looks like Us Weekly has turned the tables on the drama and has made Miley the victim! You know what we say about Billy Ray and all of that Hannah drama? If he didn’t like it, then why did he get his daughter into it in the first place??? Wasn’t she just a kid when the show started??
It’s obvious that she couldn’t have made that decision on her own, right?
Katy Perry covers March 2010 Elle magazine – Photo
by Jessica LeFevre on Feb.07, 2011, under articles

Katy Perry is featured on the front cover of the March 2010 issue of Elle magazine. She looks a little dull here, doesn’t she?
In recent events, she’s seen showing off her goody parts for the entire world, but this cover seems more demure.
The “Teenage Dream” chanteuse graces the March 2011 cover of venerable fashion magazine Elle, showing lots of color (and cleavage) in a green, blue and purple ensemble, accessorized by a gold-tassel belt. Quite the vibrant splash to get the spring season started.
What do you think of the cover? Laid back or just plain ugly? Let us know in the comments!
Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue – Photos
by Jessica LeFevre on Feb.01, 2011, under articles

Vanity Fair has just released their annual Hollywood Issue!
In the photos, you’ll see Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Jennifer Lawrence, Anthony Mackie, Olivia Wilde, Jesse Eisenberg, Mila Kunis, Robert Duvall, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Rashida Jones, Garrett Hedlund, and Noomi Rapace.
Check out the other half, below:

Do you think they’ll get any backlash for being the whitest Hollywood issue again? And on a side note, did you notice the lion cub that Rashida is feeding? That’s crazy!
And who else thinks that Rashida and Garrett both look strange in this picture? On first glance, I thought Garrett was actually Kevin Connolly! And don’t you just love Anne Hathaway’s dress — and holy hotness at the guys in suits!
Harps grocery store censors Us Weekly cover of Elton John & David Furnish!
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.26, 2011, under articles

On January 18, 2011, Us Weekly debuted Elton John and partner David Furnish’s new baby, Zachary on the front cover. The happy singer talked about the birth of their son and said that they wouldn’t be spoiling him, but lavishing love on him.
Seems all well and good, right? (It is, that baby is so freakin’ cute!) That is, until I checked my Twitter feed and found this disturbing piece. Apparently there’s a grocery store in Arkansas called Harps, who is censoring the front cover of that particular issue of Us Weekly.
Jennifer Huddleston tweeted this message out to numerous people in the span of three hours, “This was taken at my local grocery store. I was shocked and horrified. Can you help bring attention to this? http://t.co/sqYhBzc”. The link shows you the photo below, taken of the censorship of Elton and David — BECAUSE they are an openly gay couple. She tweeted, “They are saying they need to keep children from seeing it, because it is a gay family.”

In case you’ve never heard of Harps, Jen has the details on that, as well. She tweeted, “Harps is a local grocery store chain here in Arkansas. Please feel free to share their phone number:870-425-6556.”
Here’s their website information, in addition to that. Contact them and let them know that this is just UNACCEPTABLE.
Kristen Stewart Vogue outtakes- Photos & video
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.18, 2011, under articles

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart made her debut appearance on the front cover of the February 2011 issue of Vogue magazine.
I can really see why some of these didn’t make it to the actual issue, as a couple of them are Photoshopped beyond all recognition. Still, some are pretty and simple, so we’ve decided to include all of them from the shoot for your perusal!
Check out the video below of the behind the scenes action:
From the source:
Shooting to fame with her role as Bella in the Twilight series, Kristen Stewart proved she’s no one-hit wonder. The actress posed for the February cover with Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez in a deserted L.A. warehouse, where she talked exclusively to Vogue.com about how she got her start in the business, the strangest part about being thrust under microscope, and where she sees herself in ten years.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s January 2011 InStyle magazine cover
by Jessica LeFevre on Dec.15, 2010, under articles

Gwyneth Paltrow recently graced the cover of the latest issue of InStyle magazine. Now, we’ve found what looks to be an alternative cover for the publication.
She looks great on the cover. The magazine quotes her as saying, “I love to push myself – singing was exhilarating. It’s always good to scare and surprise yourself!”
I don’t care for country music at all, but I think Gwyneth definitely has singing talent. This was plainly evidenced by her appearance on a recent episode of Glee.
