Slayer and Marilyn Manson are going to be touring together, starting July 25th. Can Marilyn Manson hang with the likes of Kerry King and company? We soon shall see.

Since both of these acts are way different and in their own class of goth/rock versus speed metal. Slayer will be taking the stage first, followed by Manson.

Here, Kerry King talks about the tour and the likely event that Slayer fans will be exiting stage left when Marilyn Manson comes out with a goofy song:

“It’s definitely going to be weird,” he admitted. “My whole thing is, it depends on what Manson plays, whether our kids stay or not. If he comes out and plays ‘Tainted Love,’ half the place is going to leave. No offense to Manson — I’m just saying what’s up. I want him to come out and kick ass, because I’m an old-school fan. He can succeed on this tour, if he chooses the right set.”

I figure the Manson crowd is a little goth rock and metal combined, but Slayer has some hardcore fans. How can they mosh? We will soon find out.

I found this vid clip via Digg. It was just too crazy not to share. I didn’t know up until now that Manson and company (read: bandmates and parents) were on the Phil Donahue show. Is Phil still kickin’ around, I dunno.

But do check this one out. I guess in having a rock icon such as Manson on the show, Phil and the audience must have expected some punk kid to come out and have nothing intelligent to say.

Via RadarOnline, I’ve found that Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood had sex three times for the making of his new video, “Heart Shaped Glasses”:

According to a source close to the production crew, Manson and Wood elected not to fake their intercourse. Though their naughty bits are concealed on-screen by bedclothes and each other’s bodies, the logistics of the shoot ensured the crew members had an intimate view of the proceedings: The video was originally intended to be shot in 3-D, meaning the couple’s writhings had to be shot from several different angles simultaneously. And just to be sure they got it right, Manson and Wood got it on three times for the cameras.

I think that this is a sting to Dita Von Teese, recently divorced from Manson. I like the song and the video is cool, too. It’s a bit NSFW, so be careful.

Per a report from PageSix yesterday, Dita Von Teese has filed for divorce from shock rocker Marilyn Manson, citing irreconcilable differences.

Marilyn Manson, A.K.A. Brian Werner, was nowhere to be found to be apprised of the situation:

Sources say the raven-haired bombshell filed for the split right before Christmas, but Manson has been unaware of it because she couldn’t get in touch with him.

“He’s not been responsive,” a friend said. “She loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can’t even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can’t even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn’t even noticed.”

Via Playfuls, we found that the couple had no children and this was a first marriage for both of them.

Also, that Marilyn was quite the ladies man:

In the past, Manson has been linked to or involved with Melissa “Missi” Romero, Traci Lords and Jenna Jameson who wrote about her sexual encounter with Manson in her autobiography, “How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale” in which she noted him as being “enormously endowed”.

Manson was previously engaged to actress Rose McGowan, but their relationship ended around the time he became involved with his now estranged wife.

My thoughts on Marilyn Manson are this: The band makes great music and has an awesome following. What I’m failing to see is why these women are hooking up with this guy. I mean, sure, he’s a megastar, but dude has issues. Another thing, he wears more makeup than any average woman and he looks sorta scary.

Dita, however, has claimed that she didn’t use him to further her career and has said that she really did love him. This, just goes to show you, that there’s someone out there for everyone. Or not.
