Back on July 16, 2009, it was reported that the previous Wednesday, Mischa Barton was placed on an involuntary 5150 hold. The LAPD enforced the psychiatric hold on the actress, who was then transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

At the time, the only thing we knew about the incident was that it had something to do with her recent (at the time) dental surgery.

In the new issue of Tatler, Mischa opened up about the involuntary hold and what went down to cause it. She says that she was placed under the hold after she lashed out at nursing staff who were trying to inject her with painkillers to treat an infection caused by the removal of her wisdom teeth.

She said, “I had this terrible surgery to remove my wisdom teeth and it drove me mad. I had infections and I couldn’t eat anything except Slush Puppies for three months and I can’t tell you how awful it was… Anyway, I’d had enough and I went to the hospital. I was in a lot of pain and if they feel you are depressed or a danger to yourself they can hold you on a 5150.”

She went on, “I am terrified of needles and they wanted to pump me full of drugs and I said, ‘No, absolutely not. I don’t want to be here’, and got into a fight with the nurses, and that led to my 5150.”

She added, “Part of me wishes those things had never happened in the public eye. I wish I could have been perfect. For ages after that 5150, I’d walk down the street and people would give me the crazy eye: ‘There’s Mischa Barton, she’s insane, isn’t she?’”

Craziness! (No pun intended.)

Amy Winehouse got into a fight with her boyfriend Reg Traviss and passed out at a picnic table at a bar. Wow, she really looks smashed!

She kissed Mischa Barton, got wasted drunk and strolled along with Russell Brand’s dad…and not necessarily in that order.

The Sun reports:

She broke off only briefly at 10pm before resuming her tour of Camden, the West End and Chinatown.

A source said: “I was told Amy ordered champagne and the group tucked into it before starting on pink cocktails. They were having a great time.”

Amy, by now sporting a new outfit, finally left Chinatown at 9.15am and headed for the Inn, where she first met Reg, 33.

There, cabbie Michael Prenpeh asked for his fare, but Amy wandered off and fell asleep at the table.

Michael said: “She was totally gone. She’d no idea what she was doing. She said her boyfriend had no respect for her and was blubbing away – I gave her a tissue.”

An onlooker said: “A car nearly hit her as she walked in the road. It had to brake really hard.”

I blame Mischa Barton.

Mischa Barton felt the need to roll around town yesterday in her comfortable, while smoking a fattie.

She took a big toke, obviously not realizing that TMZ has operatives everywhere. Maybe her reported drug habit is to blame for her current lack of work?
