Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino [pictured above is castmate Vinny D] is said to be getting the silent treatment from his Jersey Shore castmates when they are not filming the reality series.

He has already received treatment in a rehab facility for his alcohol and prescription drug addiction, but his castmates on the show have no clue how he’s doing because they don’t stay in touch with him.

Vinny Guadagnino said in a recent interview, “I haven’t spoken to Mike. I don’t really speak to Mike when I’m not filming but I wish him the best.”

Deena Cortese added, “I don’t really know how he is doing but we really are family and even if we have ups and downs we’ll always end up being alright. He’s like the brother I never wanted.”

Vinny also revealed that he doesn’t think Mike’s personal issues will affect the upcoming fifth season of the show. He said, “I’m not really sure, I know people who go through things like that and are fine so it just depends on the situation he’s in. We don’t know if it’s going to affect filming.”

He went on to say, “We’ll find a way to make it work, we’re a family, we like to have fun. It’s not that serious, we like to have fun and hang our and I think we’ll make it work.”

Now that it’s been revealed that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has had troubles with booze, it appears that MTV was threatening to fire him over it. The Sitch recently checked himself into rehab for his issues with drinking, but we’re hearing that the channel has been threatening to fire his butt because he was a hot mess.

Weren’t you of the mind that being a hot mess was what the show was all about? That’s what we were thinking!

According to TMZ, MTV was telling the Sitch that they were going to replace him on the show because of his problems with excessive drinking. TMZ reports:

According to sources, producers from MTV and 495 Productions sat Situation down for the first time while shooting Season 2 in 2010 — explaining his drinking had become such a problem … it was making it hard to shoot the show.

We’re told Sitch promised to pull himself together — but it quickly unraveled during Season 3, and producers had to speak with him again … this time threatening to replace him on the show if he didn’t clean up his act.

Sitch agreed again — and made a concerted effort to reel in his bad habits between Seasons 3 and 4. We’re told Situation showed promise in Italy during Season 4, but once the crew got back to the States … he was back to his old ways. This prompted another sit-down … and another threat of recasting.

Now that Mike is sobering up, there is the question about what will come of the new season of Jersey Shore. Snooki is pregnant and Mike is cleaning up his act — what does that leave? Who’s going to smush smush and drink themselves stupid in the bars?

When Teen Mom 2 recently premiered, it was clear that Jenelle Evans was having some difficulties keeping her life drama-free. And as we can assume, things probably haven’t changed.

It was reported by Star magazine that the Teen Mom star will be attending court once again for apparently posting rude and insulting comments about her former boss, James Duffy, on her Facebook, Twitter and other websites. As a result, Duffy has chosen to charge her with cyber-stalking.

In an interview between Duffy and Star magazine, he reported, “The magistrate heard my story, saw my evidence and gave me a court date. If proved, Cyber-stalking and harassment are criminal charges with penalties of up to 60 days in county jail.”

It is also reported that Jenelle created a hate page on Facebook titled “James Duffy is a creep.” The court date is to be held on March 23, the same day that Jenelle filed against Duffy for posting her address and cell phone number online. Although, Duffy claims that this information is old news due to the fact that she had moved and changed her phone number by the time he had posted them.

Evans than continued her story stating that during the time of her employment, Duffy had made some sexual advances towards the star. She says that this led to the two having a sexual relationship. As a result, she quit her job. She also alleged that he had posted some scandalous pictures of her on Twitter showing her and another girl making out at a party.

If you ask me, Jenelle brought most of this drama on herself. She started all of this by making her boss angry which led him to attacking her back with those pictures. And I honestly think the whole sexual relationship mumbo jumbo was just a story made up to take him to court. If she had brought this up earlier, it just might have pulled off as believable… but probably not.

Whitney Purvis, a star on the reality show 16 And Pregnant, is NOT pregnant!

She was busted on Thursday after snatching up a First Response pregnancy test in a local Walmart. It just goes to show you that if you use the “five-finger discount”, all ten of your will be in cuffs. Ha.

Whitney said that she was going to use the test, but she was too nervous and threw it away before using it. She said, “My boyfriend was with me and he had money – but I didn’t want to freak him out. I was just being stupid with my decisions. I wish I would have handled the situation better.”

After all of the drama, she learned that she’s not actually pregnant after all. She added, “I was excited because I didn’t want another kid – I already have one. I never will go back to jail or steal again in my life.”

She is obviously not making very good decisions with her life. First, having a kid when she was 16, now she’s in jail for shoplifting. When will the world learn not to be incompetent?

Now that MTV has picked up Mike Judge’s wonderful creation, Beavis And Butthead for a new season this year, the voice of the two cartoon goof-ups has plunked down $4.45 million for a new home. The home is located in Santa Monica, California and has all of the trimmings!

The home has an entire commercial gym, detached guesthouse, and a combination saltwater pool with a spa. The property sits on nearly a quarter of an acre plot and the home is 3,700 square-foot in size.

I guess MTV really fronted him a lot of cash for the return of B&B! The home is beautiful and spacious, all well deserved for making us “heh heh” all throughout our teens. Check out all of the photos below:

Surely we all thought it was pretty funny when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won the award for Best Kiss at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards. He ran off the stage after telling Kristen that he didn’t feel like kissing her. He said that there was someone out there who would appreciate it more. He approached their Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner and landed a big kiss on him.

A source tells Earsucker.com that Kristen was a little more than miffed about getting snubbed for a kiss on live television. She yelled at him backstage in the VIP area, saying, “You made me look like a total jerk out there!”

He tried to defend himself, but she raised a “talk to the hand” gesture and moved right past him. He tried again to defend himself, but she told him, “Don’t even bother.”

Afterward, he ran after her and things were smoothed out. They were later seen holding hands and giggling.

I guess we can’t say that we blame her for patching things up. She’s dating a hot vampire who’s life is totally on the upswing. What do you think? Are you still of the mind that their relationship is a publicity stunt? Or is it the real deal?

If you’ve had enough of the Jersey Shore crew and their gym, tanning and laundry, then we’ve got some bad news for you. MTV has given the green light to film two new reality shows based off of the popular franchise.

MTV reports:

The network has indeed green-lit new programming that will feature Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley. The two untitled reality projects, which will chronicle the lives all three, will begin production later this year and are slated to air in 2012.

Chris Linn, MTV exec, said, “The Jersey Shore cast is at the center of the show’s ongoing success and Nicole, Pauly D and Jenni have become household names as a result of their unique, sometimes outrageous and often hilarious personalities. We’re excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the show as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships.”

Miley Cyrus is still reportedly sending saucy text messages to Jared Followill!

She was first linked to the bassist during the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards last November — and it’s not cooling down anytime soon!

A source said, “Miley wants to keep Jared interested. She often sends him coy text messages. So far, he is a big fan of what she has been sending. Jared loves showing off his texts from Miley. He thinks she’s very pretty and is excited she’s still flirting with him.”

Miley has admitted to liking Jared, so this isn’t far fetched. Last year, she said, “He’s pretty good looking. I’m not usually one to freak, but me and Taylor Swift were like, ‘Holy smoke!’ Katy Perry was like, ‘They have super hot girlfriends.’ I was like, ‘Dang it!’”

I don’t know if I believe this or not, but Heidi Montag says that she was offered a spot on Dancing With The Stars. She also revealed that she had to turn down said spot on the dancing competition because of contractual obligations with MTV and the fact that she was afraid of getting get hurt. Oh boohoo.

A source close to The Hills actress said, “It was before her surgeries and so I’m not sure if she wants to risk it now. She already took an elbow from a dancer on the set of her song, Overdosin’, and she’s scared of getting hurt.”

Was that elbow on purpose?!??

She was pitched by her agent to become the co-host of the show, before Brooke Burke landed the job. Then, they reportedly approached her to become a contestant, but The Hills took precedence…and afterward, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

The source added, “She was devasted, she had even started training on the side.”

She was devastated AND scared to get hurt?!?? We’re not buying it. Are YOU?

Amber Portwood, star of MTV’s show Teen Mom, is facing some serious charges today, after Indiana officials have decided to charge her with two felonies and one misdemeanor.

It all stems from Amber’s attacks on her fiancee, Gary Shirley. The attacks happened on three separate occasions and show Amber really beating the crap out of him. She punched him, hit him in the face and kicked him. Because officials believe that the attacks were done in front of their daughter, they have charged her with felony domestic violence and battery.

TMZ reports:

Officials have acknowledged that the criminal investigation was launched after the MTV show aired — which included footage of Amber smacking Shirley several times.

Cops say Amber not only slapped Shirley in front of the kid — but she also punched him several times in the face and upper-body.

If convicted on all counts, Portwood faces three years behind bars and fines up to $10,000.

In a new interview, Amber is denying the accusations. She said, “I didn’t hit Gary in front of Leah so there are no felony charges. None of this is true, there’s nothing against me. They can’t charge me if they don’t have proof.”

Lady Gaga has taken over the nominations for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards with 13 nominations. The only one to come close to that was Eminem, coming in second with eight nods.

The 27th Annual Awards Show Will Broadcast Live From Nokia Theater In Los Angeles On Sunday, September 12 at 9:00PM.

From pop to rock to hip-hop, today’s hottest artists will vie for the coveted Moonman award at the “2010 MTV Video Music Awards.” MTV today announced the nominees with Lady Gaga leading the way with an incredible thirteen nods including “Best Pop Video,” “Best Female Video” and “Best Dance Music Video” for her global chart-topping hit “Bad Romance.” No stranger to breaking records, Gaga can now boast having the most nominations ever in a single VMA as well as being the first female artist nominated for two different videos in the “Video of the Year” category for “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” featuring Beyoncé.

Coming off the success of his latest album, Eminem is this year’s most nominated male artist, racking up eight nominations including “Best Male Video,” and “Video of the Year” for “Not Afraid.” VMA newcomer Ke$ha is up for three Moonmen for “Tik Tok” while up and coming rapper B.o.B has an impressive five nominations including in the “Best Hip-Hop” category for “Airplanes” against “Forever” by Drake.

Other artists receiving first time VMA nominations are Justin Bieber for “Best New Artist” for his hit single “Baby,” indie favorite Florence + The Machine with five noms for “Dog Days Are Over” and Jason Derulo for “In My Head.” In addition, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, P!nk, 30 Seconds To Mars, Katy Perry and Usher are also nominated for Moonmen this year. MTV will announce additional performers, presenters and host on a later date.

Lady Gaga said, “I’m so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history. Ironically, I’m even more proud it’s an unlucky number; 13. A long time ago the world told me and my little monsters we would never be heard, together we changed the rules. God put me on Earth for 3 reasons: To make loud music, gay videos, and cause a damn raucous. Thank You MTV!”

Eminem said, “Apparently MTV doesn’t care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMA’s. F me, right?!?! I mean, I’ll be there but don’t expect me to be nice about it.”

Viewers can vote for general VMA categories, including “Best New Artist,” by visiting vma.mtv.com beginning Tuesday, August 3. It’s time to put the laptop away and cut off your internet service, because Prince has deemed the internet officially over. Since the Purple One doesn’t plan to release any of his music digitally, he has said that it has pretty much jumped the shark.

In a new interview with the Daily Mirror, he said, “The Internet’s completely over. The Internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.”

Katy Perry has revealed just exactly how she got fiancee Russell Brand’s attention when they met at the MTV Video Music Awards last year. She threw a bottle at his head! Kids, don’t try this at home!

She said, “I was probably 25, 30 feet away from him. And I threw a bottle straight at him – hit him smack in the head. I was like, ‘You’ve met your match, mother f**ker’.”

Before they met, Russell was known for his womanizing ways and Katy admits it was hard for her fiance to cope with not being allowed to take her to bed straight away.

She told Esquire magazine as she posed topless for their latest issue: “Can you imagine the horrible feeling he had when he was used to getting everything he wanted.”

In a new interview with MTV, teen queen Miley Cyrus said that she really isn’t exposed to any of the bad press that gets circulated about her. She also says that she has a team of people that prevent the bad stuff from slipping through.

She said, “I try to think of really just the positive things. My family, we’re only allowed to have ten channels basically at our house, because we don’t want to see any of that stuff. So the people that are around me, they bring me the good things, and I never see anything or read anything that’s bad because it’s never emailed to me by my manager or publicist or whoever.”

I’m sure she heard about the Perez scandal. I was just hoping and praying that she would actually have done something about that heinous, vile bully.

MTV has made their position on Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s new video for Telephone loud and clear: They don’t want any part of it.

The network that was once known for playing music videos regularly has said that Telephone is too provocative and thus, have banned it.

It’s not like the network plays much other than reality television programming anyways, so it’s really not a big loss. I guess they just wanted the publicity for saying no, even though they wouldn’t have played it anyways.

Newly crowned pop tween singing sensation Justin Bieber is using Chuck Norris’ image and the memes associated with him to sell copies of his newest song, “Baby”.

And you thought that was a dead horse? He’s bringing it back.

He tweeted, “Chuck Norris bought BABY on ITUNES infinity times….twice” and re-tweeted, “@JUSTINBIEBER BUY BABY ON ITUNES LETS MAKE IT NUMBER ONE IF ITS NOT NUMBER ONE CHUCK NORRIS WILL GET MAD.. Media “mega star” JWoww might want to learn a lesson from this. Never take nude photos of yourself if you want to be a celebrity, because people come out of the woodwork to leak anything for the right price.

According to Radar Online, nude photos of the “Jersey Shore” cast member are being shopped around to several media outlets.

Radar reports:

There are at least three photos of Jwoww, RadarOnline.com has confirmed. In one photo, she is facing the camera, topless. It’s shot from the waist up and will certainly not disappoint her male fans.

A second photo shows Jwoww slightly turned, but with her back mainly toward the camera. She is wearing a skimpy wrap around her waist but that does not obscure the rear view! She’s also wearing boots.

The third photo is a full length topless frontal shot, where Jwoww is again wearing a small wrap around her waist and boots. The pics are shot with moody lighting against a brownish background.

Maybe it was a publicity stunt from the word “go”?

When talking with MTV about Miley Cyrus butchering Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”, Bret actually said Miley can sing.

He said, “It was really, really simple. I think her first concert was Poison. She saw us at Nashville at the arena. It was her introduction into rock and roll.”

And then there’s the lie. He added, “She’s one of few musicians…and I want to use that word cause she can actually play and sing, she’s one of the few people who can pull it off and give it her own flare and make it sound good. It was one of those nights that just worked. It was fun. It’s gonna be her taking ‘Every Rose’ and making it all hers.”

John Mayer wants us all to GIVE KANYE WEST A BREAK, OKAY? I dunno what happened there, I think that statement was possessed by some caps loving freak…

Even though Kanye pulled a stage hijacking that got ripped on for a good month, John is calling on all of us to just let it go already. Note to John: We’ve let it go already, why are you bringing it up again?

He said, “Here’s how we work in America: We raise them and then we drop them…It went like this: ‘That was messed up Kanye! You deserve a punishment.’ Then, all of a sudden, the punishment got so severe, I was like, ‘Time out!’

He added, “If you just woke up now and you looked at the backlash on Kanye, you’d think that he actually firebombed the stage…It’s the MTV Video Music Awards. It’s not the G8 summit. I think he’s remorseful. I think this guy’s got to be reconsidering how he’s gonna act, and that’s fine. We learn from our little mistakes that happen in public.”

Wah wah wah….
