Miley Cyrus: Destroyed by daddy
by Jed Eckert on Feb.23, 2011, under articles

Earlier this week, we heard the news that Billy Ray Cyrus went to GQ for an interview and spilled his guts about Hannah Montana destroying his family. He said that he wished the show never happened (even though he made bank from it) and that he’s scared for his daughter Miley.
It looks like Us Weekly has turned the tables on the drama and has made Miley the victim! You know what we say about Billy Ray and all of that Hannah drama? If he didn’t like it, then why did he get his daughter into it in the first place??? Wasn’t she just a kid when the show started??
It’s obvious that she couldn’t have made that decision on her own, right?
Selena Gomez talks about Wizards Of Waverly Place & second album
by Roberta Ferguson on Jul.12, 2010, under articles
In a new interview, Selena Gomez talked about her role on the Wizards Of Waverly Place and also commented on her upcoming second album.
She said, “Unfortunately, I’m doing my last season of my show, which I’m really heartbroken about. That’s gonna be a terrible time for me. I’m going to do a movie for my show, which I’ll be excited to end it with, and then a tour.”
What we’re wondering is whether or not the show will go on without her? The show isn’t the same without her.
When speaking of her second album, she said, “The title so far of my album, I mean, I’m hoping it will stick is A Year Without Rain. It’s basically one of my favorite songs on the record. It’s kind of got a more feel-good dance beat and feel. I love it. It’s different, kind of shows my growth of my music. I think if anything the lyrics are powerful, in a way. There’s the song called ‘Intuition’ that’s one of my favorites. The message is basically every decision that you regret or second-guess, [just] do it [anyway]. I love that message so much.”

Kesha looks retarded trying to save her career
by Jeffrey Noble on Jul.06, 2010, under articles

Here’s Kesha trying to look good on the set of her video Take it Off. FAIL with a capital F. She is just making herself look like an international idiot.
The song is horrible (not surprising since how the only good song she has is Tik Tok). Can anyone tell me how did she get a record deal in the first place?
Nobody should feel bad for her because she knew she couldn’t sing but yet she started a career in music. At least she is off the streets and out of our lives. The only problem is that she is screwing up our radio with her terrible singing.
What do you think of her craptastic sound?
Ice Cube’s new album gets pushed back
by Jed Eckert on Jul.05, 2010, under articles

Ice Cube was all set to release his new album, I Am The West this summer, but has since been delayed — all due to paperwork issues.
He said, “I’ve been working my ass off trying to get it done for you but I ran out of time. The music is right but the paperwork isn’t and since I’m working with a few new producers the contracts are taking a little longer than usual, so I missed my turn-in date.”
It’s being reported that his new album might get released this September. Are you excited for some new music from him?
Heidi Montag reveals second album plans
by Roberta Ferguson on Jun.23, 2010, under articles

Because Heidi Montag’s first album worked out so well, she has decided to flop again go back into the studio for strike two!
The former reality star tweeted, “heading into the music studio recording my new single! Steve Morales my music producer moves into my house tomorrow to make my summer album!”
This leads me to believe that absolutely no one has bought the idea of her moving into a house with Jen Bunney for a craptastic new reality show. Please, someone, tell this woman that she can’t sing so 658 more people don’t have to suffer.
The Kaiser Chiefs are working on their album by mail
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.10, 2010, under articles
The Kaiser Chiefs are currently working on their upcoming album, and they are using the Royal Mail Service as a means of communication.
They are working on the followup album to 2008′s “Off With Their Heads”, but are taking their own sweet time.
Singer Ricky Wilson said, “We’re playing around at the moment. I’m sending him words and lyrics in the mail. He’s sending me CDs in the mail. We’re actually utilizing the Royal Mail quite a lot – it’s quite nice because you find you’re a little less embarrassed about what you send each other.”
He goes on to reveal that boredom got them back together to work on new material. He added, “After a couple of months we got bored, then I got really bored, then mind-numbingly bored and that’s when you start thinking about the fact you want to get up and do something again. I haven’t felt this creative since we first started.”
Drake wants to collaborate with Taylor Swift
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.02, 2010, under articles
Drake told “Extra” in a recent interview that he would be down with a Taylor Swift collaboration. He also said that his favorite moment from the Grammy Awards on Sunday was seeing the country star.
He said, “Seeing Taylor Swift in person is always fun for me. I bought this Taylor Swift t-shirt the other day that I might wear tonight. I just have this small little thing with her, I just like her whole being. I’m excited about her career and I’m excited about wearing my t-shirt tonight.”
When asked if he would consider a duet with Taylor, he replied, “That would be nice, I’m down!”

The Scorpions say goodbye to music
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.25, 2010, under articles
Legendary “Rock You Like A Hurricane” rockers The Scorpions are saying farewell to the music industry after 40 years in the business. But not before embarking on a two-year world tour.
They made the official announcement on their website, but let fans know that they will have the chance to say goodbye, as they are touring for the next two years, before hanging up their guitars.
A statement on their website says, “It was always our pleasure, our purpose in life, our passion and we were fortunate enough to make music for you – whether it was live on stage or in the studio, creating new songs. While we were working on our album these past few months, we could literally feel how powerful and creative our work was – and how much fun we were still having, in the process. But there was also something else. We want to end the Scorpions extraordinary career on a high note. We are extremely grateful for the fact that we still have the same passion for music we’ve always had since the beginning. This is why, especially now, we agree we have reached the end of the road. We finish our career with an album we consider to be one of the best we have ever recorded and with a tour that will start in our home country Germany and take us to five different continents over the next few years. We want you, our fans, to be the first to know about this. Thank you for your never-ending support throughout the years!”
Will you go see them on their farewell tour?

Paris Hilton has just announced via her Twitter that she doesn’t care about your eardrums she’s going into the studio to work on her new album.
She tweeted that she’s going to kill us all with her music AGAIN.
Thanks a lot Paris, my ears haven’t recovered from the assault you’ve unleashed on them the first time around.
Maybe it will take her another three years to crap out another sucky album that no one is going to buy.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are making a comeback!
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.13, 2009, under articles
The guys in the Red Hot Chili Peppers have just announced that they are making a comeback.
After taking a break in 2008 after the release of “Stadium Arcadium”, the band plans to record a followup album. In May 2008, Anthony Keidis, said, “We’re disbanded for the moment. We actually took a very long time to make the ‘Stadium Arcadium’ record, it took forever. It was really a grueling, long haul and it followed two other very long hauls, ‘Californication’, and ‘By The Way’.
In light of that, the band returned to the studio last month to get started on their new album, which is yet to be titled. The group plans to release the album next year.

Adam Lambert Talks About His Future & Queen
by Roberta Ferguson on May.28, 2009, under articles
Adam Lambert was asked to front one of the biggest rock acts in the history of music, Queen. Who wouldn’t die for the chance to sing the songs sung by the late Freddie Mercury?

Lambert says that he’s not ruling out fronting the band, but he does have some other things planned, as well.
When asked about fronting Queen, he said, “That’s a tough question, because, honestly, how do you say no to being in Queen? I mean, that’s unbelievable. But at the same time, I do have my own thing to do right now, and that’s my goal. So if I could, I would try to do both. That’s the honest question. I would try to do both. I would love to perform with them anytime they wanted me to but I also have my record to do. So we’ll see.”
When speaking about his newest endeavor, a new record, he says, “My record will be kind of a rock-pop-electronic-dance thing. I don’t know how to describe it. I think it’s gonna take on a life of its own, as far as genre goes.”
Lambert goes on to reveal that he would love the opportunity to collaborate with Madonna, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga.
He added, “Madonna would be amazing. I’d love to work with Madonna – I think she’s a genius. She has great ideas. Lady Gaga is brilliant. She’s got her finger on the pulse. She’s the hot thing right now. Katy Perry’s amazing, absolutely amazing.”
Who would you like to see Lambert collaborate with?

Susan Boyle Sings ‘Cry Me A River’ – Audio
by Roberta Ferguson on Apr.16, 2009, under articles

The Daily Record unearthed this goodie featuring Susan Boyle singing “Cry Me A River“.
This recording was made in 1999 for a charity and only 1,000 copies were pressed.
So amazing!
I sincerely hope that she gets a record deal, her voice is so smooth and sultry. If I were Simon, I would have stopped “Britain’s Got Talent” right then and there and declared her the winner.
Their reactions of her prior to her performance were less than believing and downright rude. But when she belted out “I Dreamed A Dream”, all bets were off. You go girl!

Aretha Franklin Sings ‘My Country Tis Of Thee’ At The Inauguration Of Barack Obama
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.20, 2009, under articles

Aretha Franklin sang “My Country Tis Of Thee” at today’s Inauguration ceremony for President Barack Obama. The lady’s got some pipes! She did great, though.
And Barack is sitting there cheesin’, like, “They got Aretha for me”. Wonder if they had to pay her to perform.
Loved it.

Worst Auction Ever: The Big Bopper’s Used Coffin
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.05, 2009, under articles
And you might of thought this was a bad idea. The Motley Crue geeks got nothin’ on The Big Bopper’s kid. (Incidentally, if you don’t know who The Big Bopper is, please consult Wikipedia.)
Apparently, The Big Bopper’s body was exhumed and moved to a more visible location. With the family’s consent, forensic experts were also able to perform an autopsy on the 50′s singer.
Jay Richardson, the son of the legend, plans to sell the used 48-year-old casket on eBay to raise money for a musical show about his father to keep his memory alive.
What do you think? Think they’ll have any takers? Or is this just too morbid? Would you want to be the one that says, “I own The Big Bopper’s used casket”?
