I guess this is what happens when the people that you say are going to be performing, know nothing about your plans for them. Yes, I’m talking to you, Jermaine Jackson.

Jermaine did a press conference for the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna, in which he said that Chris Brown, Natalie Cole, and Mary J. Blige would all be performing. It looks like no one told them.

The concert will still go ahead, but it has been postponed until 2010.

Rumor has it that the daughter of the late King of Pop wants to record a tribute song to her father. Is this the Jackson family’s (I’m looking at you, Joe) way of pimping out Michael’s daughter? Paris Jackson is said to be wanting to make a recording as a tribute to her dad. (continue reading…)

Morgan Freeman took the Grammy stage to introduce Kenny Chesney, who performed some country song. Not sure which one, this was the moment I paused to write this and fast-forwarded through the song. Not a fan of country, but if you’re a regular reader, you already knew that.

Side note: Was Morgan wearing blue contact lenses?

Diddy, Herbie Hancock, and Natalie Cole took the stage to announce the winner of the Record Of The Year Grammy. Oh my lord of the sun gods, what on earth is Natalie wearing?!??

The winner: Robert Plant & Allison Krauss, with their album, “Please Read The Letter”.
