Stana Katic Talks ‘Castle’ Season 4 Finale
by Jessica LeFevre on May.14, 2012, under articles

The season four finale of “Castle” gave fans exactly what they wanted: Rick Castle and Kate Beckett finally getting together. It was a move that was four years in the making and it finally happened! In case you’ve missed the finale episode, we’ve recapped it here for your perusal. It’s only been one week and we’re already having “Castle” withdrawals!
The show’s star Stana Katic spoke to “Entertainment Weekly” about the move to finally get Rick and Kate together. It was definitely a journey that the show’s creator Andrew Marlowe was taking all of us on and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. When asked by “EW” if the finale episode felt perfect for the journey that we’ve all been through in season four, she was equally as happy.
Stana revealed, “Yeah, I loved it. I felt like if we waited any longer it would be untrue to the characters. They’ve gone through a lot together, a lot of really great moments and a lot of really scary journeys together. I think waiting any longer would have been unfair and dishonest. So I think Andrew [Marlowe] did a really great job bringing those two characters finally to a point of complete honesty with each other.”
Are you excited to see what season five is going to bring?
Castle Season 4 Finale Promo Video – Will Rick And Kate Finally Be Together?
by Jessica LeFevre on May.01, 2012, under articles

We can’t be the only ones who went all fan girl when we saw the season finale video for next week’s episode of “Castle”, titled “Always”. Will Rick Castle and Kate Beckett finally get down to business and be a real couple already? Or is that just wishful thinking on our part?
The show’s writers have been teasing a hookup for the longest time (four seasons!) — so we think it’s high time that us fans get to cash in on the hopes that they will get together. The season finale shows Rick telling Kate that she’s not in this alone. She says, “I know” as she grasps his hand. The show will center around her mother’s murder investigation, but it’s something that Rick knows is dangerous for her. Rick wants her to stop the investigation, but we all know how Kate is. She won’t listen to him and will forge ahead to learn the identity of the man responsible for her mother’s death.
Since Rick has been doing his own side investigation into her mother’s death, he knows that someone will be out to strike again against Kate if she pursues it.
The promo teases a kiss and with an “S” rating from the good folks at ABC, we’re guessing that they’re finally going to hook up. It’s about time! Will season five be all about Caskett?

Tonight is an all new episode of Castle on ABC at 10PM EST, titled Headhunters. This episode will see Nathan Fillion’s character, Rick Castle, joined by his former Firefly castmate Adam Baldwin — who plays Detective Ethan Slaughter.
In tonight’s episode, Rick joins a cop [Ethan] from New York’s gang unit. Apparently, Rick is moving further and further away from Kate after learning that she remembered everything about her shooting. At the time, he didn’t want to lose her and he professed his love for her.

Check out the official synopsis of tonight’s show:
With tensions rising between Castle and Beckett, Castle finds himself a new partner — Detective Ethan Slaughter, a tough and colorful cop from the city’s gang unit. But Castle gets more than he bargained for when Slaughter shows him a grittier side of police work that puts Castle in the line of fire like never before.
I wish Kate would just tell Rick how she feels about him already. Are they going to drag this out more than it needs to be? Are we going to have to wait until the show’s fifth season to see some real sparks between Rick and Kate?

All that Rick knows about his love for Kate is about to come crashing down on him as he learns that Kate LIED! Tonight is an all new episode of the ABC hit drama Castle, titled, 47 Seconds. In case you’ve missed last week’s episode of the show, you can read our full recap here.
At the end of the third season, Kate gets shot and Rick confesses to her that he loves her. In the fourth season’s premiere episode, she tells him that she doesn’t remember anything about the shooting. To him that means that she did not hear his profession of love for her.
Tonight, in capturing a suspected bomber, Kate grills the guy in the interrogation room. Little does she know, but Rick is listening in. The suspected bomber claims he doesn’t know why he left the bomb there. She tells him that he doesn’t get to use that as an excuse — because she was shot in the chest and she remembers every last second.
Will Rick be so upset with her remembering and then lying to him about it? Or will he realize that she just wasn’t ready for a relationship with him just yet? Or — she could always try and take the easy way out and say that she was only pushing the witness by any means necessary.
All of our questions and more will be answered when Castle airs on ABC tonight at 10PM EST! Stay tuned for our live recap of the show!

Castle Review: Season 4 Episode 12 ‘Dial M For Mayor’
by Lydia Harris on Jan.17, 2012, under articles

Last night’s episode of Castle could very well have spelled the end of the partnership between Castle and Beckett. The episode was titled Dial M For Mayor and it pitted the crimefighting and writing duo against each other. The mayor was sought for a possible murder — something that Castle was adamantly protesting throughout the show. In case you’ve missed the show, you can read our full recap here.
The mayor came under fire when a murdered woman was found in a car that was used last by him. The mayor denied ever knowing the victim, but in the end it was revealed that it was assistant who killed the victim. Either way, it prompted the mayor to drop out of the race for Governor.
Castle is once again vindicated, even though it was obvious that he couldn’t stay biased within the investigation. The mayor maintained his innocence, but refused to turn over his cashmere coat for testing of its fibers.
Rick is still able to work in the precinct to watch over Kate, which seems to be the mystery guy’s motive. Who else would be able to make sure Kate doesn’t stumble into something that would get her hurt? Besides that, when are they going to grow closer to one another and finally start dating?
What did you think of Dial M For Mayor? Sound off in the comments!
Castle Preview: Dial M For Mayor (Spoilers, Video & Synopsis)
by Jessica LeFevre on Jan.16, 2012, under articles

Tonight is an all new episode of Castle, titled, Dial M For Mayor. This one appears to be the episode that could quite possibly drive a wedge between our dynamic duo, Rick Castle and Kate Beckett.
When a dead woman ends up in the Mayor’s car, Kate does the obvious and suspects the Mayor. Rick, however, is biased and doesn’t think his friend would do such a thing.
We all know that the entire reason that Rick is working with the precinct and with Kate is because of his affiliation with the Mayor, so this could be the end of Caskett….or could it?
Synopsis:
“Derek Webster (Desperate Housewives, Damages) guest stars as Mayor Robert Weldon, Castle’s longtime friend and the Mayor of New York City. It was Mayor Weldon’s political clout that allowed Castle to partner up with Beckett. But now a woman is found dead in a car that traces back to the mayor’s motor pool, and that partnership comes under fire as the scandal surrounding the investigation .
Sneak peek videos:
Promo:
Castle’s creator, Andrew W, Marlowe, said, “The stakes are enormous. If something happens to the mayor, Castle is not going to be able to continue his partnership with Beckett.”
Captain Gates also wants to keep Castle as far away from the case as possible, because he obviously cannot be objective at all. She tells Beckett to confront the mayor and do her job, no matter the cost.
Stana Katic said, “It’s a conflicted case for Beckett. She knows that the mayor is valuable in keeping Castle in the precinct, but at the same time she doesn’t want anyone who’s committed murder to get away with it. She won’t compromise her sense of right and wrong.”
Stay tuned, we’ll be providing our official recap when the show airs at 10PM EST on ABC, right after The Bachelor.
‘Castle’ Season 3 ‘Knockout’ Finale Recap 5/16/11
by Lydia Harris on May.16, 2011, under articles

The season three finale episode of Castle is on tonight! I’ve been enjoying the show all season, but I wanted to share it with you. Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic really make this show great. In our home, it’s dubbed “Murder, He Wrote”.
From the ABC official website’s summary:
Kate Beckett’s investigation into her mother’s death is reactivated when Hal Lockwood (guest star Max Martini, “The Unit”) – a professional hit man with knowledge of Beckett’s mother’s murder – stages a spectacular escape during a court hearing. As police launch a manhunt for Lockwood, Castle and the team uncover evidence of a deeper conspiracy involving a mysterious figure with law enforcement connections who is linked to both Lockwood’s escape and the killing of Johanna Beckett. The search for Lockwood and the quest to identify his co-conspirator leads to a shocking and deadly conclusion.
In a previous episode, Kate said she would be back to ask Lockwood week after week who hired him. Rick is showing off some art to A Deadly Storm while Kate is interviewing Lockwood. He was transfered to general population and is about to kill a fellow prisoner, McCallister. The officers are too late to stop the murder. They have found out that the transfer signature was forged, so they have to find out who needed the money. (continue reading…)
