Ne-Yo claims that Lindsay Lohan isn’t making a return to pop after she cut out plans to record more songs with him. He worked with Lohan in 2008 on her song “Bossy” and made arrangements to record more music with the actress. But, he says that he hasn’t heard anything else about it from her.

He said, “We were doing some stuff and then it just fell off and hasn’t got back on. I’m not gonna hold my breath.”

He’s not totally giving up on Lohan, however. He said that she can get in touch with him whenever she’s ready to move forward with the collaboration.

He added, “Lindsay, when you’re ready to get it in, give me a call.”

Ne-Yo contributed to Disney’s “The Princess And The Frog” by doing the theme song for the movie, “Never Knew What I Needed”. Now you can check out the official video here at Earsucker.

The video features footage from the movie and is on its way to becoming one of the top slow dance songs. The soundtrack is set to be released on November 23rd and you can pre-order your own copy here.

We can all look forward to some new Rihanna tunes as she gears up for the release of her fourth album. Play.com lists the new album becoming available on November 23, 2009.

She has enlisted the help of Tyson Ritter of The All-American Rejects, along with Ne-Yo, Drake, and Akon. Her new song with Jay-Z, titled “Run This Town” is also making the rounds.

The new album is yet to be titled.

R&B singer Ne-Yo says that he’d love to do a duet with Lady Gaga. He is currently on tour with her and the Pussycat Dolls and says that he really wants to collaborate with her. Oh yeah, and he thinks she’s sexy, too. Just when we thought he was gay, too. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

He says, “I really hope Gaga and I can work together. I have never been so excited about an artist before. From her costumes – they’re not outfits, that would be an understatement – to her songs and sexy body, Lady Gaga has it all.”

He also adds, “Being yourself is what makes an artist. You should nurture what you’ve got. She epitomizes to me what artistry is. She is a strange one, but it’s refreshing. She makes no apologies for being who she is.”
