Remember when we introduced you to this illustrious and yummy looking pickle? The pickle gained such popularity when fans pit it against Nickelback, in their Facebook fan page. Now Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger wants to shut it down. No fair.

The pickle received more friends than the rock group and reportedly, the page starter received a note from Kroeger himself, stating that the page is getting shut down.

Real or fake? Oh yes, and salute the pickle.

It seems Portugal’s youth aren’t too keen on Nickelback because someone started throwing rocks at the stage during their set (in what I can only assume was part of a larger concert with bands the Portuguese actually wanted to see).

But I guess someone didn’t appreciate Chad Kroeger‘s remarks to the crowd (“Have we got any Nickelback fans in Portugal?”; crowd seems to say no, or boo; “You guys wanna hear some rock and roll or go home?”; the answer came in the form of a rock to the noggin, at which point Chad rolls out). The seemingly sly folks over at Microsoft think their software is so crappy that they are even throwing in a free Nickelback song as an incentive to download Internet Explorer 8. Is Bill Gates that hard up to get people to download the new version? And besides that, what kind of incentive is free Nickelback anything?!?

This has got to be the best comment ever left on this site. I can tell this person totally put so much time and effort into thinking this one up. I just had to share it with everyone, in case you missed it.

It was in response to my Chad Kroeger post where he got banned from driving for a year, stemming from a DUI that he got in 2006.

YOU KNOW, PEOPLE THAT JUST criticizes OTHERS LIKE YOU DO, THEY’RE JUST A LOT OF ASS THAT DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO IN THEIR FUCKING LIVES SO THEY JUST SCREW OTHERS WITHS STUPID OPINIONS. Chad Kroeger received his driving ban yesterday from a court in Canada, stemming from a drunk driving incident in 2006.

Why’d they take so long to sentence him? Are they that backed up??

He pleaded not guilty to DUI in November of last year, and are in the middle of appealing the sentence. Chad’s lawyers are saying that his rights were violated. I think he should just shut up and serve it. Either way, he was speeding and had a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.

Suck it, Chad.
