According to the latest gossip, country singer Taylor Swift has been receiving death threats over her newly revamped relationship with One Direction singer Harry Styles.

“The X Factor USA” host Mario Lopez all but confirmed rumors that Taylor had rekindled her relationship with Harry. The duo were said to be spotted backstage at the show last week, prompting the host to tell all about their newly minted relationship status.

Mario said to 104.3 MY FM, “Taylor Swift was the special guest performer and here’s a little inside scoop for you. During rehearsals Harry from One Direction came over and slapped me on the back, and said, ‘Hey Mario how ya doing?’ And I said, ‘What are you doing here?’ and he sort of pointed towards Taylor. Later I saw them walking off hand in hand. So Taylor Swift and Harry from One Direction – you heard it here first. They’re officially hanging out, I can say that much.”

Apparently there are people out there who are not happy with Taylor dating Harry and she has been on the receiving end of death threats on Twitter. A source said that a fan of the group posted on Twitter, “I’ll murder Taylor Swift. She will not date my Harry.”

Another Twitter follower of the band said, “If u dating my harry, I kill u.”

Prior to her appearance at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, Taylor paid the bullies no mind. She tweeted, “Walked into my AMA dressing room and there was this little bowl of candy in there. Literally shrieked with excitement. Need to tone it down. Getting ready for the AMAs! Maybe if you feel like it, you’ll watch?”

Country singer Taylor Swift is said to be dating One Direction star Harry Styles. After breaking things off with Conor Kennedy, it appears that Taylor wanted another chance with the British singer.

According to host of “The X Factor USA” Mario Lopez, Taylor is once again dating Harry. He said that he saw the two of them looking pretty cozied up backstage on the show. At least that’s what he revealed on his radio show on Friday.

The twosome dated for a short time earlier this year and there were rumors of a reconciliation when they were seen together around Los Angeles earlier in the month. Now, Mario says that he’s pretty sure that they have sparked things up between them again.

On Friday he said that he had witnessed Taylor and Harry walking hand-in-hand right before her performance on “The X Factor” on Thursday. He also said that he had the chance to talk with Harry, at which he asked him what he was doing in Los Angeles. Harry told Mario that he was accompanying Taylor.
