Talk show titan Oprah Winfrey says that she now regrets starting the Oprah Winfrey Network and has admitted to making mistakes were made in the network’s creation. In January 2011, the network hit an all time high of 1.1 million viewers and dropped to 263,000 this February.

Co-owner of the company, Discovery Communications Inc., has spent over $300 million on the network in an attempt to make it a success, but it failed miserably.

During a recent interview on CBS This Morning, Oprah said, “Had I known it was this difficult, I might have done something else.”

She went on to say, “I didn’t think it would be easy, but if I knew then what I know now, I might have made some different choices. If I were writing a book about it, I could call it 101 Mistakes.”

After only one season, Oprah Winfrey has pulled the plug on Rosie O’Donnell’s show. Now, Rosie has responded to her show’s axing on OWN.

According to the latest issue of Globe magazine, Oprah Winfrey is currently in the middle of a heart attack crisis! Their latest magazine cover states that Oprah is overweight, weighing in at a scary 280 pounds.

Per the Globe’s article:

Oprah Winfrey’s weight has ballooned to 280 and with her breakneck schedule and the stress of trying to save her flopping Oprah Winfrey Network, insiders fear she’s headed for an early grave.

While Oprah’s weight has fluctuated over the course of her career, we really don’t think that the talk show titan is really in any danger of having a heart attack anytime soon.

Also featured in this issue are fans of Regis Philbin, nagging television executives to bring him back to the morning show circuit. Do you miss watching Reeg along with Kelly Ripa in the mornings?

If you’re missing your morning Regis fix, there is an online petition making the rounds to bring him back.

In addition to all of that, the tabloid is also claiming that former President Richard Nixon had a gay lover. If that’s not enough to sate you, they’ve also got a feature on Camilla Parker-Bowles and her Dancing With The Stars secret!

Jerry Sandusky has been accused of numerous accounts of molesting little boys during his employment with Penn State. Now, he’s reportedly looking to clear the air in a new interview — and he and his wife Dottie are thinking about sitting down with Oprah Winfrey.

Sandusky’s attorney, Joe Amendola, said Dottie Sandusky doesn’t have an attorney and sees no need for one. The couple is considering speaking together publicly after the new year, Amendola said — either to Oprah Winfrey, to the CBS show “60 Minutes,” to NBC’s “Rock Center” or to ABC’s Barbara Walters.

We’re not sure if there are any offers floating around from Barbara or Oprah’s camps, or if it’s his attorney just trying to get him out in the spotlight. Dottie obviously believes that her husband is innocent, but with all of the evidence building up against him, we’re not thinking that he’s going to get off Scott-free here.

This is just one of the reasons that I love the National Enquirer. They put these LOLtastic stories out there and you just can’t help but to laugh. One reason is because there is a likelihood that the story is true. In this case, we pray that it is.

According to their latest magazine cover, Oprah is putting Kim Kardashian on blast for her recent “charity” trip to Haiti. Per their cover story:

“Kim insults the locals & spends a fortune pampering herself” and “Oprah roughs it with the refugees.”

While there, Oprah was hanging out with Sean Penn, along with some refugees. Meanwhile, an inset photo says that Kim was spending her time at a fashion show.

Did Kim just make the trek to Haiti for the positive PR following her split from Kris Humphries?

Also featured in this issue, The X Factor USA cast-off Rachel Crow is getting revenge against Nicole Scherzinger for her elimination from the show?

In addition to that, there’s a Royal scandal brewing! According to the tabloid, Prince William is actually in love with his wife’s sister, Pippa Middleton! Royal gossip, we love it!

On the latest cover of the National Enquirer, they’re reporting on the weight battles in Hollywood.

On their cover photo, they show Ricki Lake, Oprah Winfrey and Demi Moore all battling issues with their respective weights. Apparently Ricki was “too fat” for her wedding dress??!? And this is after she lost all of that weight on Dancing With The Stars? Girlfriend looks good, if you ask us!

They are also claiming that Oprah is at 280 pounds and of course, Demi appears to be struggling to eat. She’s going through a divorce, nimrod, of course that stress alone is enough to mess with a woman’s eating habits.

On top of all of that, they are also claiming that Brad Pitt is raging at Angelina Jolie because she’s raising Shiloh as a boy. Apparently they didn’t get the memo that Shiloh is still going for that “Montenegro” look.

Also, there’s a “shocking tell-all” involving this season’s winner of DWTS, J.R. Martinez! There were “women, war wounds and WINNING!” Did they struggle to come up with that alliteration?!?? Enquiring minds want to know!!

Has Oprah really been ordered to diet or die? Did Natalie Wood have a sex secret? Will you keep wondering? Or is that enough for you to run out to your local grocery store and pick up this issue?

The National Enquirer opted to step away from putting Kim Kardashian’s divorce as the main spotlight of their newest issue. Yes, there is a blurb, but it’s not Kardashian Kraziness ala the other tabloids today.

On the cover, Dancing With The Stars reject Chaz Bono takes precedence, with the quote that he has only four years left to live. According to their report, he’s been suffering from liver damage and the dancing competition only made matters worse.

Also in this issue, is Oprah Winfrey’s secret marriage of 30 years and the husband she’s been hiding. They’ve also got a smidgeon of space dedicated to Kim and Kris’ wedding scam, along with a Neo-Nazi marrying into the Swayze family.

Madness! Let’s hope they’re wrong about Chaz Bono’s health being so bad. I would’ve thought that dancing would’ve helped him work off some of the extra weight and that would’ve been a good thing. Who knew?!?

In case you haven’t heard, Rosie O’Donnell is making her official comeback to television! As a part of Oprah Winfrey’s OWN, Rosie will be talking to celebrities, taking part in games and talking to some uber fans of pop culture, television shows and musical artists. What’s not to love?

Without further ado, I give you the top ten reasons why I’ll be tuning into OWN to watch Rosie’s new show.

1. With Rosie, you know that you’re going to get the good, fun stuff. She doesn’t give you extra fluff that you’re not interested in. She’s a straight shooter and isn’t afraid to give you her opinion.

2. Her guests! She has already taken reservations for fans of Josh Kelley, Molly Shannon and Roseanne Cash. She is also interested in your feedback as to who you would like to see on the show. Got a guest idea? There’s a contact form for that.

3. Are you a fan of games? How about TV game shows? Do you have useless trivia in your head that you can spout off in a moment’s notice? She wants to hear from you, too. This makes me curious, as I love gaming — anything from Fallout 3 to Lingo on Facebook and watching Jeopardy on television. What’s your favorite? She wants to know.

4. Realism. As I’ve stated in reason #1, Rosie has a natural talent for talking real to people because she obviously knows her audience.

5. She’s listening to you. If you’ve got a great idea for a show, then Rosie is all ears. She wants to know what you think would make a good topic of conversation for the show. She’s even got spots if you want to be on the show…how cool is that?

6. Rosie’s new show is Oprah approved, so you know it’s going to be good. Are you missing your daily fix of Oprah Winfrey? She has created shows like The Rosie Show for people like us. She’s giving real people a voice and the chance to be heard.

7. Humor. Rosie is a funny woman. Don’t believe me? Check out her video, introducing the show. It’s not Kathy Bates nor Roseanne Barr, because apparently, she’s been mistaken for both. She’s a comedian, talking about real issues that real people care about.

8. This show is for all of us. Sure, Rosie will be featuring guest appearances by the usual celebrity fanfare, but she is making this show for her viewers.

9. She’s a veteran in the world of television. You don’t think this is Rosie’s first foray into television, do you? In the past, she’s had her own talk show before, running from 1996 to 2002. She was great then and she’ll be fun to watch again.

10. What else are you going to watch at 7pm? The news?!? Why not inject your day with some fun, laughter and awesome guests? I’ll be tuning in!

This may just be one of Oprah Winfrey’s better ideas. According to reports, the talk show titan is thinking about giving Neil Patrick Harris his own show!

We’ll surely watch! But we have to ask….can he do it as Barney Stinson? That would be hilarious!

The National Enquirer reports that Neil is in talks to join Oprah’s OWN network as the host of a talk show. Reportedly, he pitched the idea to Oprah and the response was good. A source said, “After their initial conversation, Oprah was intrigued enough to set up two followup brainstorming meetings on Skype with Neil. Oprah is mentoring Neil while also trying to bolster her own brand.”

NICE!

The source added, “Oprah realized Neil’s mass appeal to TV audiences, as well as his unique perspective as a gay parent juggling home life and a high profile career in Hollywood. Oprah needs a shot of adrenaline in the OWN network and a hot daytime talk show could be just the ticket.”

Will you watch? I know we would! I think this would definitely liven up the new network, don’t you?

Rumors were flying about who Lindsay Lohan would turn to first for her first post-jail interview. We were told that she might be headed to OK! magazine for a cool million, then it was speculated that she would do the Today Show, like her mother. (Perhaps to correct the story about how many times she’d actually been to rehab?)

But now we’re hearing reports that she’s gearing up to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Radar Online reports:

While the deal has yet to be finalized, a source says that talks between Lindsay and Oprah’s team are going well.

The outcome is “looking very good” the source said.

“Things are heating up in a good way,” the source added. “Definitely some good conversations. We’re crossing our fingers it works out for Oprah’s last season.”

If she goes on Oprah, I’ll tune in. Will you?

After his performance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Justin Bieber talked backstage about his appearance on the show, what he looks for in a girl and what he has on his wall.

The interviewer said, “Congrats on your first time on the Oprah show. How did it feel?”

Justin replied, “Thank you. It felt great, I was really glad to come out here and you know, do what I love to do and being able to do it on Oprah was amazing.”

The interviewer said, “You and your mom seem really close, tell us what you love most about her.”

Justin said, “I love that she’s – she’s just a really strong woman. She’s, ya know, been there since day one and ya know, and just wanted me to be the best person I can possibly be. She doesn’t care about the money, the fame, she just wants to be my mom.”

And what he looks for in a girl? He said, “My perfect girl? Well, she has to be to be like, a nice person, someone I can talk to, ’cause at the end of the day, you have the hottest girl in the world, but if you can’t sit there and have a conversation with her, it’s going to be terrible.”

When asked who he wants to work with in the future, the Biebz responded, “I’d love to work with Beyonce. I would love to work with Kanye West, that would be cool. Jay-Z.” (continue reading…)

Robert Pattinson visited Oprah Winfrey for her show, which airs tomorrow afternoon. Besides telling Oprah, jokingly, that Kristen Stewart is pregnant, he also said that he wanted to be a rapper growing up.

When talking about how he puts on the American accent for Edward Cullen, he said that it’s not that hard because he wanted to be a rapper when he was a teenager.

He said, “I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14. I grew up watching American movies and stuff.”

Well, we do know that he can sing. Maybe a rap career wouldn’t be too far off? 50 Cent is interested, that’s for sure.

If you watched the Super Bowl (or just the commercials), then you may have run across the new ad for late night television featuring Jay Leno, Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman.

Dave thought it was a good idea and wrote it out. He called CBS for the green light and they loved it. The only missing piece? Conan O’Brien.

A young girl by the name of Jordan helped assist Oprah Winfrey with hosting duties on the show yesterday. Inturn, Oprah told her that her fan favorite Taylor Swift, sent her a guitar. Little did she know, but Taylor also came out to present the guitar.

The little girl is so cute. When Taylor came out, she was so surprised and happy. It was so cute that Oprah told her that they’d be sending her out on assignment to interview Taylor while she’s touring and then come back to the show to air the clip and watch her perform.
