Paul McCartney and fiancee Nancy Shevell have returned to the U.K. to finalize the details for their upcoming wedding, which, according to friends, is “imminent”.

They are reportedly tying the knot in a small, intimate ceremony at Paul’s home in Sussex, South East England.

A source said, “They will be marrying imminently. They are very excited and almost everything is in place. Friends and family have been put on standby.”

After their British ceremony, the happy couple will be coming to New York to celebrate with Nancy’s family. A source added, “Nancy would have liked to get married in New York but she knew an English wedding would make Paul happy. In the end they decided to marry in the U.K. and have a party for all their American friends at their home in the Hamptons later. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a couple so besotted with each other.”

This will be Paul’s third wedding. He was married to his first wife, Linda, until she passed away from breast cancer. Afterward, he married Heather Mills, whom he divorced in 2006.

Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell have been dating for four years, but the former Beatle is said to be considering going forth with the marriage without a prenuptial agreement.

A family insider said, “His friends and business advisers think he’s crazy after what happened with his ex, but Paul is insisting Nancy is no Heather. There’s no need to make marriage a business arrangement.”

According to sources, the only paper he wants between them is something that says she can’t go after his children’s trust funds should they split.

A source said, “They are the perfect couple. And both have had a huge impact on each other. She has once again shown him that falling in love doesn’t have to hurt.”

Paul McCartney proposed to his girlfriend of four years, Nancy Shevell, with an engagement ring that cost the rocker a whopping $650,000!

He presented the huge diamond ring to Nancy, of which she wasted no time showing off in New York.

A witness said, “Paul spent more than $650,000 on the gorgeous ring, and Nancy absolutely loves it! You can tell she was excited to finally be showing it off. She was glowing and relaxed and looked like she couldn’t be happier. She even gave a thumbs up when asked how her and Paul were doing. Clearly the couple is very happy.”

The happy couple began dating in 2007 after meeting in the Hamptons. The source went on to say, “They have the right chemistry. They’re both cool, chilled out and optimistic.”

This will mark Paul’s third marriage. His first, was to Linda McCartney in 1969. After she passed away, Paul married Heather Mills in 2002. The marriage ended in a bitter divorce in 2008.

Lily Allen is a saint. Not really, (after becoming the Dictator of Downloading) but in this one occasion, she did something that was very selfless.

Thursday, she fell down a flight of stairs and still managed to haul butt to perform “Hey Jude” with Paul McCartney, Take That, and Robbie Williams. She struggled through the show, which benefits Children In Need, and the show went on.

She should hire someone to carry her suitcase for her, so this doesn’t happen again. Kudos to her for still performing, even though she was injured.

The duo announced the winner of the Best Male Pop Vocals.

The winner: John Mayer with “Say”. Can you believe he beat out Paul McCartney tonight and Ne-Yo?!??

He didn’t even give a shout out to Jennifer Aniston. What a bum!

Ted Nugent has offered his bodyguard services to former Beatle Paul McCartney for his concert in Israel on Thursday.

Despite being polar opposites in the fact that Ted is an NRA enthusiast and Paul being an animal lover, Ted says that he should take his offer seriously due to death threats from Muslim extremists.

Ted says, “Regardless that Paul and I have our obvious social, cultural, and culinary differences outside of music, I will not bend or waiver to voodoo religious whackjobs and neither should Paul. It would be my pleasure to keep this legendary musical hero safe from terrorists and mad men, and then buy him a nice dinner of tofu. I’m Dirty Harry with a ponytail, and I’m at Paul’s service.”

But will Paul take him up on that?
