Could Casey Anthony be getting away with murder? That’s the question that People magazine wants to know.

For the second time this month, the “Murder Mom” trial covers People magazine. This time, they’re asking the question that is on everyone’s mind as the details of this senseless tragedy are recounted… Will Casey Anthony be convicted?

The testimony given, states that there were searches for “chloroform”and “neck breaking” on her computer inside her residence. In addition, she was partying at the bar when her daughter went missing. She didn’t report her daughter missing for an entire month. There was an awful death stench coming from the trunk of Casey’s car.

So it’s obvious that the evidence is mounting against her, but will it be enough to convict her?

A former criminal defense attorney and current law professor, Karin Moore, said, “This is definitely not a slam-dunk case. The state doesn’t have an eyewitness. They don’t have a confession, so most of the evidence is circumstantial.”

A source for the prosecution said that even though there is “no one smoking gun”, the evidence is “solid”. The source said, “People hear ‘circumstantial’ and think that means it’s a weak case. But what it means is that we bult a case using a lot of evidence.”

Casey’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony, aren’t sure what to believe at this point, but they just want the truth. A family friend said, “Honestly, I think they’re all over the place with that. What they want, and what they’ve always wanted, is to know what happened.”

People magazine is also featuring the latest drama surrounding The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert. Obviously, they did it a lot better than OK!’s version of the same story. Don’t you think?

Behind her back, Bentley Williams called Ashley an “ugly duckling” and said that he wished the new Bachelorette was actually Emily Maynard.

Commenting on the Bentley drama, Ashley said, “I’m extremely humiliated. He had intentions to really hurt me – and he did.”

She apparently had no idea that he was trash talking her during his confessions up until last month.

Even though Ashley lived the experiences of the show – like the night showcased on Monday’s episode when she broke down in tears after some of the men insulted her at a Los Angeles comedy club – she had no idea about Bentley’s remarks until the show started airing in May.

“I got played,” says Ashley, “just as maybe every woman in America has been played.”

I hope she doesn’t let that fool come back. It just leaves the door open for him to waltz back in. You know what else it leaves the door open for? A possible romance between him and Emily. What do you think?

All of the lies that Casey Anthony is spewing during her murder trial has made the cover of People magazine’s latest issue.

During her trial, it was revealed that Casey was abused by her father, who helped cover up the accident involving her daughter Caylee. Her father has denied the explosive allegations, but is it enough to inject the jury with reasonable doubt? Somehow, I think not.

This is a woman, who instead of reporting her daughter missing, she was partying like it was 1999. She was at bars, purchasing beer at a grocery store and was living it up. Perhaps that’s just how she grieves? I know that when I carry out an evil plan, the only way to celebrate is to get hammered – repeatedly.

Of course this heinous woman is going to use the accidental death defense so that she doesn’t get the chair. I hope that doesn’t pan out for her the way she wants it to. She obviously had some involvement in her daughter’s death. It’s sad, really.

We’ve also seen footage of Casey from a couple of months back where she was greeting dear old dad with nothing but a grin and a happy demeanor. So why else would she claim that she was sexually abused? Sympathy, of course.

Charlie graces the cover of the latest issue of People magazine with the headline, “What happened to Charlie Sheen?” Along with that is a quote from the warlock himself, saying, “If I’m insane, I’m OK with it. This is not an act.”

It’s crazy that all of this madness has unraveled itself in the past few weeks. Who knew that Charlie was so crazy? I hope he gets whatever help he needs in this strange time.

Kim Kardashian appears on the latest cover of People magazine, along with “You betcha” herself, Sarah Palin. Ugh. I think it’s a sign of the apocalypse or something! Two evil famewhores, one magazine cover.

And poor Jill Clayburgh, gets shoved off to the side, in favor of Kim talking about marriage. This is a travesty, I tell you. People should be ashamed of themselves for this one.

We don’t care that you thought you should be married by now, Kim. Ugh.

Clay Aiken has finally come out of the closet and confirmed what we already knew, he’s gay. In the October issue of People, the American Idol singer says that he is gay and that he “cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things.”

Good for him! It’s about time that he’s able to be himself and be comfortable with that.

Christina Aguilera has fired her manager over poor magazine sales of People magazine, featuring pictures of her newborn son Max.

Apparently, pimping out her kid for money didn’t play out the way she wanted it to, because that particular issue of People undersold previous copies of the rag by 100,000.

A source says, “She went crazy and had a massive tantrum. It was astonishing. She was absolutely furious and blamed her staff for the way everything had been handled.”

She also gave her PR firm BWR their walking papers. She was probably ticked off that J-Lo is better at pimping out babies than she is. J-Lo got about 5 or 6 million dollars for her pics of her tots.
