Pete Doherty might be facing some jail time after pleading guilty to cocaine possession on Friday.

He was arrested in January 2010, following the reported drug-related death of Robin Whitehead. In February, he’d denied the charge and was going to stand trial. When appearing in court Friday, he opted to change his plea to guilty.

The judge in the case told his lawyer, “When someone constantly commits the same offense, the law must be made very clear. Is your client aware he could face a sentence?”

He’s due back in court for sentencing next month. Stay tuned!

Earlier today, rocker Pete Doherty was charged with cocaine possession. The charge stems from his appearance at a bail hearing, when he had drugs on his person.

Doherty was arrested in March in connection with the drugs related death of heiress Robin Whitehead. He was one of four people taken into custody after the 27-year-old filmmaker died from a suspected overdose in January at an East London flat.

Whitehead had been making a documentary on Doherty at the time and he previously admitted to visiting the property the day before and the day after she died but on the night of her death he was at his home in Wiltshire.

Doherty, 31, was originally arrested on March 19 on suspicion of supplying drugs then subsequently bailed.

Today, he was handed the lesser charge of possessing the drug, but could still face jail.

He needs to get it together already. Seriously, who brings drugs with them to their bail hearing?!?? That’s just heinous. He deserved this charge for sure. He needs to wise up before he becomes another statistic.

The animals may kick, scratch, bite, or in this case, snort all of your coke belongings.

As fans were crowding into the Theatre de Verdure in Nice, it was announced that Pete Doherty had canceled the gig and had been taken to the hospital.

Concertgoers were told that the show would be rescheduled, which left fans upset, angry and some, crying.

A source said, “Some fans were crying. It was terrible. Three young Italian girls were really mad. They drove four hours from Italy to see Pete Doherty and couldn’t believe the gig was canceled. One of them was really furious and shouted, ‘I can’t believe he did that! It cost us time and money to come all the way from Italy.’”

We can just hope that he’s okay.

Rocker Pete Doherty said that he is worried about the upcoming Libertines reunion dates in the U.K., saying that it could be “potentially a disaster.”

On Monday, March 29th, it was announced that they are set to play the Leads & Reading Festival. This will be the first time that the band has played together since 2004, but Pete says that it could end badly.

He said, “I was like, ‘Let’s get on with it.’ Potentially it’s a fucking disaster – it’s a tinder box waiting to go up. I think we need to be honest with each other and speak up if something is happening that no one else agrees with and, rather than just wander off in silence and let everything get messy, just be honest.”

Pete Doherty got hit by bagels that were thrown at him by guests of a private function, after he showed up 80 minutes late to perform.

Pete was set to play at the B1 Maximum Club on Sunday, but failed to appear on time at the exclusive event, prompting the waiting masses to pelt him with bagels.

One guest said, “He had his eyes shut and an expressionless and vacant look on his face.” One of the bagels hit Pete on the shoulder and he ate it.

Please people, don’t feed the crackheads. Thanks. Oh yeah, and pics or it didn’t happen.

Pete Doherty is not the sharpest tool in the shed. The former Babyshambles singer was fined earlier today for walking into a courtroom last month with some heroin in his pocket.

Maybe this was a cry for help? Or probably just hapless stupidity.

He appeared in the Gloucester Magistrates’ Court in England earlier today for a careless driving charged, but got escorted out of the building when authorities saw heroin fall from his pocket.

Judge Joti Boparai said, “Either this was sheer stupidity or a ploy to get more publicity.”

He was fined $1,200 in costs. The Judge in the case felt it wasn’t worth sending him to rehab because he’s already paying for drug treatment privately.

Well, no one accused him of being smart!

Pete Doherty was busted for drunk driving early Thursday morning, after authorities spotted him driving erratically and arrested him for DUI and possession of drugs.

The Babyshambles frontman is now facing a possible jail sentence, after he pleaded guilty to the drunk driving and drug possession charges on Friday.

He was charged with dangerous driving, drunk driving, possessing Class A drugs, and driving without a license or insurance. This is not a hard issue to deal with, if you’re not licensed or insured, then hire a freaking driver! It’s not like he can’t afford it, right?

He was released on bail following the hearing. He is due back in court on August 11, 2009 for the courts to set a trial date for the charge of dangerous driving, the only one of which he pleaded not guilty to.

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is not having the best of luck this week. He was recently busted for using heroin on an airplane after flight attendants found a hypodermic needle and linked it to him.

To make matters worse for the singer, he was arrested early this morning on suspicion of driving drunk and possession of drugs. After leaving a gig in Gloucester, he was pulled over for driving erratically.

He is currently being held by the Gloucestershire police and is due to be questioned today.

A spokesman for Gloucestershire police said: “At approximately 12.30am officers on patrol in Eastgate Street saw a car being driven erratically, it continued down Barton Street and was stopped in Derby Road. A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, possession of drugs and failure to stop for police, he remains in custody at this time.”

Pete Doherty was on stage at a recent London gig, when he was swamped by fans who invaded the stage. He was playing a solo show at the Hackney Empire last night, when fans climbed over the barriers and got on stage with him.

Security guards were at the venue to save the day.

A source says, “People were literally being thrown off the stage. During the finale, one by one, they tried to jump on from all angles. Security were having a pretty hard time keeping them away from Pete, especially the girls. At one point two brunettes ran on and latched onto Pete until security, at least four of them, had to prise them apart.”

Crazy! The only thing I’d be rushing Pete Doherty for would be with a bar of soap and a washcloth. Just sayin’.

I’m not sure what to think of Pete Doherty’s latest video. The videography is interesting and in black and white. I can’t understand any of the words that he’s singing.
