Rihanna has previously said that she would give her entire life in order to play the late, great Whitney Houston in a biopic based on her life. Since, it has sparked rumors that Rihanna is set to play Whitney if a movie gets made about her life.

At the time, she said, “That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do, because I would really want to pull it off.”

In a new interview with MTV, she dismissed the speculation. She said, “That’s just rumors. I never heard anything about that. That’s a huge, huge role, and whoever does it has to do a good job. My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song: ‘I Will Always Love You’. It was really inspiring, and it made me develop a passion for music, so really, she’s partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”

Do you think Rihanna would do Whitney Houston justice if she were to portray her in a movie?

“American Idol” is slowly dwindling down the top contestants to the three left standing for the finals. This week, we will see Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Hollie Cavanagh take on songs from a “California Dreamin’” theme. On Thursday night, four will become three as they battle it out for the “Idol” crown. In the end, there can be only two. Who will be left standing?

So what do we know about the season eleven finale of the show? It airs on Fox on Wednesday, May 23rd and will feature a performance from none other than Rihanna. Reportedly, she will be performing “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been”.

When the final three have been announced, they will be taking the “Idol” stage on May 22nd. Afterward, one last contestant will be eliminated, thus leaving the top two to vie for the crown.

“Star” magazine made the claim that Zac Efron was hooking up with Rihanna. A little bit far-fetched, don’t you think? We do! Especially after this denial!

Reps for Efron and Fenty are denying all of the reports that they are getting together. Reportedly, Efron was pretty desperate to ditch his clean-cut image. If that’s the case, then he sure did a pretty good job of that when he dropped a condom on the red carpet at the premiere of “The Lorax”.

A source told the tabloid, “Rihanna called his room right away and they had a sweet conversation. Zac suggested that they get together when they’re both in L.A. and she said, ‘Absolutely!’ Zac’s sick of his good-guy image. He wants to cut loose and have some fun – and he thinks Rihanna is the perfect girl for that.”

While that is true, the singer does like to keep her bad girl image fresh in everyone’s minds. Still — it doesn’t mean that the rumors of a hookup between the pair are true.

“Gossip Cop” talked to Fenty’s rep who called the reports “inaccurate”, along with Efron’s rep who said plainly that the story is “false”.

With regard to her next movie role, she may do comedy and more action films. She revealed, “I don’t want to stick to one thing yet. I want to see where I excel. I want to try things – comedy and probably another action film.”

Just a couple of days ago it was rumored that pop singer Rihanna was being courted by Simon Cowell to join The X Factor USA as a judge. Now, we’ve learned that Rihanna has denied the rumors of her joining Simon and L.A. Reid at the judges table when the show makes its return.

Rumor has it that Rihanna was chosen over Britney Spears for the judging spot. In a new interview with Daybreak, Rihanna has denied any involvement with the show.

She said, “I know, I haven’t heard about that. I haven’t had the call yet! I really didn’t, I haven’t heard about that.”

She also spoke of her acting debut in Battleship, saying, “I get that anxiety just before I’m about to do something big or when everybody’s going to be looking at me. When a room gets quiet like this just before the start of doing an interview, the butterflies do pop up.”

So where does Rihanna see herself in the future? She said, “In the next five years, the only real plan I have is professional. I’m really looking forward to seeing what life brings for me.”

We are still curious as to whether or not the rumors are true about Rihanna paying Ashton Kutcher a visit at midnight and staying until 4AM. She brought along her security team for the four hour visit, but we want to know if they really are dating.

A source has revealed that they have been an item for the past four months and that Demi Moore is actually quite devastated at the news. So, in a news conference to promote her new movie Battleship, a reporter tried to ask Rihanna directly about her rumored tryst with Ashton.

The reporter, Sarah, asked her, “You’re so good with connecting people, that I think that we actually feel we know you. Things are clearly going brilliantly in your career. I just wondered if you are as happy in your private life. Will we be seeing a certain Mr. Kutcher perhaps making a trip over here?”

Rihanna said in response while shaking her head, “Wow, how disappointing was that question.”

She added, “I’m happy and I’m single, if that’s what you’re really asking.”

Rihanna has become known for showing some skin and in the new issue of Britain’s Women’s Fitness magazine, she talks about getting naked.

I don’t think things could be that serious between Rihanna and Ashton — he’s still married and she was recently flirting with Chris Brown on Twitter. We were surprised to hear that they were seeing each other in the first place.

It was already rumored that Ashton Kutcher cheated on Demi Moore with Brittney Jones and Sara Leal — but is Demi super miffed that Ashton has been hooking up with Rihanna?

She made a pit stop to Ashton’s swanky Los Angeles pad and brought her security people along with her. She happened to stay with Ashton from midnight to 4 o’clock in the morning.

A snitch close to the situation said, “The flirting began as soon as Rihanna and Ashton met and swapped numbers. That moved on to texts and arranging to meet. They snuck off to a Santa Monica hotel a few weeks ago.”

The source went on to say, “They are two single people having a fling, so they thought it would be best to meet in secret. Rihanna has told friends he’s funny and cute. Both of them love a good time and think they’re too busy for anything serious just yet. She’s starting to inquire about Kabbalah sessions with his Rabbi.”

After Rihanna got beat down by Chris Brown, she is seemingly moving toward a somewhat nicer guy — even though he’s goofy. Reportedly, Rihanna was spotted on Wednesday stopping by Ashton Kutcher’s house for a late night visit! Rihanna has been urged to get her act together by her former pastor and family friend, Bishop Vibert Lowe. He revealed that her homeland is praying for her.

In a new interview with The Sun, he said, “A lot of people have been praying for her and hoping that she will drop these bad habits. We feel it’s wrong for her to behave like this. As a young lady she’s not setting a good example. Young people look to her as a mentor, they regard her as an idol and copy her lifestyle. There are people on the island who think she parties way too hard.”

Hollywood stylist Phil Bloch also echoed the pastor’s statements. He said, “I went to one of her concerts and was shocked by what I saw. She has no idea how to cope with this level of fame. She needs to calm down and behave – I think she’s a troubled girl. She’s talented and beautiful, but puts herself in dangerous situations.”

Rihanna says that she is bored of being single and wants to find herself a nice boyfriend. So why are there all these rumors around stating that she wants to get back together with Chris Brown?!? He’s far from the nice “bring home to your family” type.

In a new interview, she said, “I am a single lady. This is not something I enjoy. Single life is so overrated. You always want to be single when you are in a relationship but trust me it is no bueno. I have such incredible experiences in my life, but you don’t want to live your life and then meet someone, you want to share your life with someone. I feel like that is what I am missing right now.”

She went on to say, “I’d love to date somebody cool, fun, funny.”

As long as that doesn’t mean that she wants to date someone who will beat her senseless and bite her in various places and then leave her for dead. She’s been pushing the envelope even talking to that creep. He obviously has no genuine remorse for what he’s done to her. We can only hope that she does find a truly nice guy that will treat her with respect.

Is Rihanna being tipped to play the role of legendary singer Whitney Houston in a movie based on her life? That’s the new rumor floating around the internet since the singer’s untimely passing on February 11th.

Reportedly, Clive Davis is planning the biopic as a tribute to his close friend and there is already a short list of names for those being considered to play Whitney. Among them are Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Vivica A. Fox and Brandy.

Also being rumored to be on the list is Whitney’s Sparkle co-star, Jordin Sparks. Along with that, Will Smith’s daughter Willow is being tipped to play Whitney as a young girl.

A source revealed, “Clive wants to get the script done and start filming as soon as possible. Whitney knew about the project and was excited to see where it would lead. It’s hoped the biopic will be as successful as Tina Turner’s movie What’s Love Got To Do With It, which landed two Oscar nominations for Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne.”

Brandy previously said, “My dream role would be to play Whitney Houston. I would love to play Ms. Whitney. I have her personality down pat, her ‘isms’ down pat. Nobody can play Whitney like me.”

Rihanna is really close to patching things up with her former boyfriend and abuser, Chris Brown. Say it isn’t so! Tell us that she isn’t really considering taking him back! Hasn’t she learned anything from the beating she took at his hands in 2009?!?

He is still on probation for the brutal beating when he lashed out at her in a car. He bloodied her lip, bit her ear and left a contusion on her head. He has apologized several times for the attack, but has never actually shown that he has matured as a person. In recent reports, Chris has repeatedly shown his temper, leading us to believe that he hasn’t learned anything.

Still, Rihanna’s friends are trying to keep the former couple apart. TMZ reports that Rihanna still has feelings for Chris, despite the abuse she suffered three years ago. According to their report, if weren’t for the media along with her fans, she would already be back with him.

Chris is currently dating Karrueche Tran, but that doesn’t seem to matter because he still has strong feelings for Rihanna.

This has got to be the worst pickup line in the history of pickup lines. Chris Brown beat his former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 right before their scheduled performance at the Grammy Awards.

Later, the R&B singer pleaded guilty to felony assault for the incident. He was subsequently ordered to complete community service and is on probation.

According to an attractive brunette who Chris approached at the Lasio Professional Hair Care suite Grammy gift lounge, Chris gave the douchiest line ever in an attempt to get her digits. She said that he asked, “Can I get your number? I promise I won’t beat you!”

She added, “He and his friends laughed, then one yelled, ‘That’s his new line!’ Ugh, I wanted to throw up!”

Can you blame her? He is basically using his assault on Rihanna as a means of getting women. Chris’ rep is trying to debunk the claims, saying, “I’d be surprised if Chris said something that stupid.”

On Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, Chris Brown performed twice and won an award for Best R&B album. Those of us who do not like Chris because of what he did to Rihanna voiced our opinions or just plainly changed the channel during his sets.

We know, it was three years ago and people need to look to the future. In reality, he’s made a mistake and is paying for it. He should have paid for it with a jail sentence, instead of just getting off with probation and community service.

Rihanna has forgiven him, so does that mean we have to as well? Not necessarily. If we forget what he did to her, isn’t that the same thing as enabling his negative behavior?

The Grammy Awards defended allowing him to perform and win an award in a recent statement. Are you forgiving yet? Us neither. Apparently Chris had a little message for those who chastised his performance and win last Sunday.

Chris took to his official Twitter page and said, “Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning). But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do. Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a big mistake and learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred! You guys love to hate!!! But guess what??? HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F**K OFF!”

Chris Brown wasn’t at his recent progress hearing over the beating of his former girlfriend, Rihanna, but despite getting high marks on his reviews, he’s to remain on probation.

He was arrested in 2009, following the pre-Grammys incident and was sentenced to five years of probation and 180 hours of community service. He was keeping up with his end of the deal, but expected to get off of probation early.

His lawyer requested that his probation be terminated, but it was ruled that he would continue to report to probation officials in Virginia. His probation officer revealed that he passed all of his required drug tests, completed an anger management course, has undergone domestic violence counseling and has completed his six months of required community service.

Do you think the court should have allowed him to be off of probation? Or are they just sticking the probationary period on him as long as possible because he didn’t do ANY jail time?

Now that Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry, it appears that she’s leaning on her best friend, Rihanna!

They’ve talked on the phone constantly since the split, with Rihanna offering as much support as possible to the pop singer.

A source said, “Katy is hardly speaking to anyone right now, but she called Rihanna as soon as she heard Russell was filing for divorce. Katy was embarrassed about calling her parents as they’d been so against Russell in the first place, but Rihanna was a great support for her and she really helped to calm her down.”

That’s what friends are for, right? Even better, Rihanna was said to be planning a vacation to Mexico to help Katy get over her marriage to Russell. The source revealed, “Rihanna has been there for Katy, texting her from Miami where she’s on holiday. Now they are planning a girlie getaway so Katy can clear her head.”

The root cause of their divorce was their constant arguments and the fact that they were never able to see each other. Truthfully, we didn’t think it would last as long as it did….so we were surprised to see them last 14 months. Were you?

Twenty-two-year-old student Phillip Lomax performed a Rihanna song for last night’s Judge’s House episode of The X Factor! What a bold choice to sing her song right in front of her!

Phillip is a crooner and he really made the performance his own. He sang, Please Don’t Stop The Music, for L.A. Reid and Rihanna, proving that he’s got what it takes to be put through to the next stage of the competition.

Fourteen-year-old rapper Brian “Astro” Bradley performed Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down by Diddy on last night’s Judge’s Houses episode of The X Factor.

During his audition, he impressed the judges and the audience when he performed his own song, Stop Looking At My Mom. But during Boot Camp, judge L.A. Reid said that he was too young.

Last night, he performed in front of L.A. and Rihanna. He told her that if he doesn’t get selected, he’s going to keep going. But, he noted to Rihanna, that they would be doing a collaboration one day.

At first, we thought the song was The Message, but we were corrected after checking the X Factor’s official website. Still, we thought he did a great job. I would buy a rap album by Brian, would you? I actually liked Astro’s version of the song, compared to the original.

Rihanna took her ex-boyfriend, Matt Kemp, along with her to strip club, Stringfellows in London, but got into a bit of trouble after not being able to keep her hands to herself!

She didn’t want to keep her hands off of the topless dancers and even went as far as thrusting her head between one of the dancer’s legs.

A source said, “Rihanna couldn’t resist paying for a dance and loved watching the girls in action. Bouncers weren’t happy as she was repeatedly touching them, ignoring all warnings. At one point, she thrust her head between the legs of one of the dancers.”
