It’s a modern day romance that is enough to make all women with a pulse jealous. Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are hooking up, he’s taking her on romantic outings and all that cute stuff that you’ve seen in movies. Likely his movies. Hello — The Notebook?

They starred together in the filming of The Place Beyond The Pines and afterward, they hooked up and have gotten serious FAST. A friend of Ryan’s said, “Ryan is obsessed – he wants to see Eva all the time. I don’t know what it is about her, but he’s into Eva hook, line and sinker!”

In the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, they discuss the happy couple’s relationship and all of their make out sessions. To that, we say “pics or it didn’t happen!”

An extra on the set of Pines, Nicole Sykes, said, “Even when the cameras weren’t rolling, they were really affectionate with each other. Eva was kissing Ryan’s head and cuddling with him while they sat on the ground. You could tell that she really liked him.”

Ryan’s pals said, “Eva’s wildly passionate and impulsive. He thinks of her as the female version of himself. Ryan’s family is worried; Eva’s so LA. She’s so into the business and not a super-warm person.”

But will they get married? That’s been the question on everyone’s minds since they’ve gotten together. She has previously said, “I don’t believe in the institution of marriage.”

Sorry ladies (and some gents), but your Sexiest Man Alive runner-up Ryan Gosling won’t be making it to the Golden Globes tonight.

And what could possibly keep him from showing off his dapper self at the awards show? Filming commitments, of course.

Ryan is up for Best Actor for The Ides Of March, along with Crazy, Stupid, Love, at the ceremony which takes place in Los Angeles later on tonight. Unfortunately for those who were looking forward to him donning a suit and accepting an award, he’s out of town, filming.

His representative said, “He’s working out of the country.”

Currently, he is in the middle of filming Only God Forgives, which is set in Bangkok, Thailand.

It appears that Ryan Gosling is getting cozier and cozier with Eva Mendes, by the minute. So much, in fact, that he really wants to propose to her! Oh noes, ladies, what shall we do?!? [Seriously, let's talk sabotage in the comments.]

Now that they’ve gotten closer than ever, Ryan is telling his friends that he really feels Eva is “the one”. It could be just hearsay, right? Inadmissible. Moving on.

Even though they’ve only been dating for roughly six months, Ryan wants to pop the question. The only problem? She’s not feeling it! Quick, someone check this woman to make sure she has a pulse.

A friend said, “Eva’s a great girlfriend. But she has no intention of being anyone’s wife.”

Ugh. You get the steak that you ordered at the most fanciest restaurant in town, but you can’t commit to eating it?!? WTF, Eva?!? At least that means when he pushes for marriage, she’ll ditch him…Thus, leaving it open season for the rest of us, right?

The pal went on to say, “Eva told Ryan that she loves him but will never change her mind about getting married or having kids.”

Despite all of that, Ryan still wants his plan to tie the knot with Eva to work. Another pal revealed, “Ryan really wants this to work.”

Ryan Gosling might not have been “handsome” enough for The Notebook’s director, but it appears that he’s hot enough to get caught in between two women!

According to the National Enquirer, Ryan has his girlfriend Eva Mendes seeing red over his relationship with his co-star Emma Stone! Uh oh! Catfight?

Reportedly, Eva has warned Ryan to stay away from Emma! An insider revealed, “Eva flipped out when she saw photos of Ryan getting cozy with Emma on the set of their new movie Gangster Squad. Ryan claimed they were in the middle of filming a scene, but Eva still got upset. She demanded that Ryan stay away from Emma when the cameras aren’t rolling.”

Despite all of that, Eva still hasn’t cut ties with her former boyfriend, George Gargurevich. Apparently this guy refused to move out of her home when they broke things off. A snitch said, “She let George stay because she felt guilty for dumping him. Plus, Eva travels a lot for work and when she was in town, she stayed with friends.”

After hooking up with Ryan, that was the end of her relationship with George. The source said, “But George kept dragging his feet. Finally, Ryan got so fed up that he threatened to dump Eva. Things got nasty until Eva convinced George to crash with a friend. But George still keeps his belongings at Eva’s place and they talk almost daily.”

Ryan Gosling rose to fame as Noah Calhoun in The Notebook, but it wasn’t because of his good looks. Who knew?!?

Apparently, the movie’s director, Nick Cassavetes, didn’t think he was handsome or cool. Insane!

Ryan revealed, “The director, Nick Cassavetes, called me to meet him at his house. When I got there, he was standing in his back yard, and he looked at me and said, ‘I want you to play this role because you’re not like the other young actors out there in Hollywood. You’re not handsome, you’re not cool, you’re just a regular guy who looks a bit nuts.’”

That’s pretty funny considering how many people protested the fact that Bradley Cooper won out for the title of People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive this year, for Ryan. Ha. He’s handsome, but isn’t that just crazy?!?

Ryan Gosling is the most romantic guy out there — and it doesn’t hurt that he was almost this year’s Sexiest Man Alive!

According to reports, Ryan has been packing on the PDA with his new squeeze, Eva Mendes — in Paris! Nice!

He surprised his girlfriend of two months on the set of her new movie, Holly Motors in Paris, France on Friday. A source close to the situation said, “Ryan flew out to be with Eva as soon as she wrapped Holly Motors. The film was a fairly small production and Eva was good about being focused and without many distractions on set.”

Another source said that she was “totally shocked” when Ryan showed up. The insider said, “They were talking all the time so she had no hints that he was coming. She was really homesick and missed him, even though she practically just left to shoot!”

Ryan Gosling wants to cut down on his acting jobs and work on having some babies! Ladies, any takers?

The Notebook actor admitted that he has been putting his acting career before his personal life for entirely too long and he wants to change that. He also revealed that he blames the pressure of Hollywood for his failed relationships with Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams.

In a new interview with British publication The Times, he said, “I had two of the greatest girlfriends of all time. I haven’t met anybody who could top them. Show business is the bad guy. When both people are in show business it’s too much show business. It takes all of the light, so nothing else can grow.”

Reportedly, he’s been dating Eva Mendes, but he said that he’s “in a committed relationship with film”, adding, “I’m giving as much to it as a marriage.”

However, despite his relationship with his career, he does want a family. He added, “I’d like to be making babies but I’m not, so I’m making movies. When someone comes along I don’t think I’ll be able to do both and I’m fine with that. I’ll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen.”

Ladies, it sounds like he’s taking applications!

George Clooney literally got Ryan Gosling wet during filming for their new movie, The Ides Of March. Oh George, always the prankster!

Ryan said, “He is a big practical joker. Everyone says that and it’s true. He would give you direction, come right up to you and start telling you about what you were doing and giving you advice on how to play the scene, then he walks away and you realize all that time he has been spraying you and your pants with a spray Evian bottle!”

He revealed, “He has been spraying it quietly the whole time he was talking to you and you have wet pants. Then he goes ‘action’ and you have to do the scene.”

Too funny! George is a funny dude.

In other Ryan Gosling related news, apparently he has been rumored to be dating Eva Mendes. He even took her to Disneyland, according to reports. Doesn’t he take them all to Disneyland?

A source said, “They looked relaxed and seemed to be having a fun time together. Like a dating couple, they always walked very closely, holding hands and their arms touching side-by-side. Ryan seemed to pay a lot of attention to her. He would glance over and look her in the face as they walked through the crowds making sure she was okay.”

In the movie, to win her over, he builds her a house and is persistent with the intention of spending the rest of his life with her. The movie is adored by millions of fans as the most romantic movie of all time.

Yet, Ryan thinks that the movie causes trouble for people in relationships. In promotion for his new movie, Blue Valentine, Ryan talked about The Notebook and its affect on couples.

He said, “People would come up to me and tell me that they thought it was romantic, but one guy told me that he was engaged and his fiancee broke up with him after that movie because she said to him, You wouldn’t build a house for me, would you?’ He was like, ‘Well, no, but I don’t know how.’ She said, ‘But if you knew how?’ He said, ‘No, I wouldn’t. But it doesn’t mean I don’t love you.’ She said, ‘Yeah, it does.’ And she called it off.”

After hearing that, how can he really blame the movie? That guy was a douchebucket for telling his fiancee that he wouldn’t build her a house if he knew how. The movie is still good in our books! And we can’t wait to see Blue Valentine, as well.

“Name In Stone” was filmed at a cemetery and features the L.A. Inner City Mass Choir. I like their music, it seems rather old school (50′s) with an Elvis-like feel to it.
