On Saturday night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, NBC announced in an on-air promo that Lindsay Lohan would be taking on the hosting duties. Her spot is set for March 3, 2012, as she presumably tries to make a comeback after all of her troubles.

Does that mean Lindsay is finally getting her life back on track? It’s about time!

After the promo aired, Lindsay took to her official Twitter page to say, “SNL! I love @NBC !!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Lindsay has already hosted the show three times previously. She hosted on May 1, 2004, May 21, 2005 and April 15, 2006 — so this will mark her fourth hosting appearance. She will be joined by musical guest, Jack White.

NBC’s official Twitter account confirmed the news. They tweeted, “That’s right: March 3rd, @lindsaylohan with musical guest Jack White!! See you then!”

According to TMZ, Lindsay was dying to do the show again so that she can work on kickstarting her comeback. Reportedly, she contacted the show’s executive producer, Lorne Michaels, directly to work something out with him.

Spies close to Lindsay say that she has always felt that he was like a father-figure to her over the years. In addition, she has always enjoyed doing the show, but she was merely waiting for the right time to make her return. It’s been six years since she last hosted! Now that Chaz Bono has performed on Dancing With The Stars this season, he’s said to be getting courted for a hosting gig on Saturday Night Live!

Producers of the show are trying to get Chaz to host SNL, and not only that, but he’s trying to get his mother, Cher, to host it with him.

A source said, “Chaz has been flooded with offers since becoming a DWTS contestant – he’s becoming a Hollywood sensation. Guest-starring on SNL before a live crowd would be a milestone for Chaz. And he wants his mother to come along to give him extra confidence. A show with the two would be a ratings bonanza – and the NBC brass is thrilled that a deal is in the works.”

The source added, “The jackpot would be to have Cher do a few skits with Chaz, but producers are hoping they can at least get her as a musical guest. Everyone connected with the secret plan is keeping their fingers crossed it becomes a reality.”

Saturday Night Live regular Kristen Wiig says that Miley Cyrus really was up for anything during her hosting duties for the show.

She said, “Yes, Miley was fun to work with. She’s cool. It was really, really fun.”

Kristen went on to reveal, “Yeah, she was great. She was up for anything. That’s always, to me, what makes a host fun to have around. They’ll make fun of themselves or how the media perceives them. She was up for anything, which was so great.”

During her hosting duties for Saturday Night Live, Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus mocked Lindsay Lohan and also made light of her own bong smoking scandal. Apparently, Lindsay wasn’t amused at all!

Lindsay has send SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels a letter, saying that she’s disappointed that he allowed Miley to mock her on the show. So she’s telling on her?!?? What is this, the fifth grade???

Reportedly, Lindsay considered Lorne a father figure and a mentor and was miffed that Miley was allowed to make fun of her.

In case you missed the show — Miley finished her opening monologue with a musical number which included the lyric, “I never stole a necklace or got a DUI .. never cheated on wife like that golfer guy … so what if you can see a little boob from the side … I’m sorry if I’m not perfect.”

Too funny.

Miley Cyrus graced the Saturday Night Live stage to take on Justin Bieber, her Salvia scandal and Justin’s movie, Never Say Never.

The best part is when the fake Miley mentions her Salvia smoking and Miley (as Justin) says, “There’s no reason why you wouldn’t, because it’s totally legal, yo.” It was very deadpanned and serious. I hate that I have to agree with her on this one, but she is right. Salvia smoking is not illegal.

Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus will take over hosting duties on Saturday Night Live tomorrow and we’ve got a photo from the set!

The photo above is from one of the rehearsals. The Strokes will be performing and unfortunately for fans Miley will not be performing, only hosting.

Dana Carvey brought the Church Lady back to Saturday Night Live to roast a metric ton of celebrities. He mocked Charlie Sheen, Snooki, the shows 16 And Pregnant and Skins and of course, the Kardashian sisters — namely Kim Kardashian and her nude photo shoot for W magazine.

His first guests? “The holy trinity of sluts”, the Kardashians. Check out the video for all of the goodies, it’s hilarious:

He also mocked Snooki from Jersey Shore — and almost caved in to temptation with Justin Bieber! Ha!

Mad Men actress January Jones and Jason Sudeikis have called time on their relationship, according to People magazine.

The couple first went public with their relationship in July 2010, but have since called it quits. A source said, “They’ve been on and off for a few months and then the long distance kind of ended it. But they could get back together. It was just hard to stay together with the distance.”

She keeps busy filming Mad Men in Los Angeles while he’s been working on putting on Saturday Night Live, which is filmed in New York City.

Jim Carrey spoofed the new movie, Black Swan, on Saturday Night Live – and by the looks of things, he was simply hilarious.

The 48-year-old made a very unattractive woman as he strutted into the ballet studio saying, ‘Sorry I’m late. I had to go numbers 3 and 4′. When he sheds his jacket, instead of having angel wings he reveals chicken-wing like tattoos on his shoulder blades and made his presence felt.

He announced, ‘Get ready to rock, bitches’ as he started flailing around clumsily and looked more like a headless chicken running around rather than a graceful swan. When he is told to warm up in the ballet studio he says: ‘I’m already warm. I’ll all… swampy in my pants’.

As in the movie, Carrey seduces the director by sucking his finger provocatively but in Carrey-style then stuffs his fist in his mouth. When Carrey’s character is rejected for the lead role he looks into the camera and says, ‘Once you go Black.. Swan – you never go back… Swan’.

The actor then appears in the White Swan make-up and crown – but looks decidedly like a haggard drag queen.

Ke$ha performed her song, Tik Tok, on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live and it was truly awful.

About 40 seconds in the video, when she debuts her American flag cape, she gives this nervous look, like, “Crap, no one is clapping!”

Did someone forget to cue the applause track for her shoddy performance? I mean, what does “Did anyone ever stop to think maybe we are the aliens?” even mean? We get it, Kesha, you’re an alien. Ugh.
