Upcoming pop singing queen Sky Ferreira has just announced that her debut album with EMI has been pushed back. The original release date was set for 1-11-11. She took to her official Facebook to discuss:

Okay.My album is no longer coming out on 1-11-11…unfortunately.It was done,but things/people constantly change within ALL record labels & in life (DUH!). I am now recording even more material for the record because I feel like I’ve grown (musically) since when I was 15-16 years old. All of the songs will eventually come out because they are all important to me. I’m trying to push for an EP to come out in February too. It’s been extremely frustrating,but you know “these kinda things happen for a reason”.Thank you for the support and I’m glad I can CLARIFY what’s going on…Keep your eyes peeled for some big things happening this winter…STAY TUNED!<3

I can’t wait for this album to get released. The only thing I want more than that is for her to include Happy Dre on it. What’s your favorite Sky song?

Pop princess in the making, Sky Ferreira has just released her new video for Obsession.

In the video, she’s obsessing over Michael Madsen and she’s obviously stalking him, dressing like him and checking his fan club website 800 times a day.

Sky Ferreira talked briefly with Nylon TV about her fashion choices, as well as her inspirations. She cites Joan Jett and Siouxsie Sioux as inspirations and says that her favorite book is “Alice In Wonderland”.

Katy Perry caused an uproar when she posted the above photo of upcoming singer Sky Ferreira with a bottle of vodka between her legs. The problem with this pic? Sky is only 17!

Last night, Katy tweeted, “I like em right before they’re famous… Fresh meeeat. @skyferreira”

Apparently, the photo also caused a ruckus for Sky. Today, Katy tweeted, “@skyferreira I didn’t know I had the power to get popstars grounded! Amazesack!”

WTF is amazesack?!? Jeez, people are screwing up the English language so badly it’s insane.
