After last night’s stop in Aspen, Colorado, we’re hoping that American Idol finds some more raw talent as they take the show to Houston, Texas. In case you’ve missed last night’s auditions episode of the show, you can read the full recap here.

Will they find the next American Idol on tonight’s show? It’s hard to tell, but we do have a bit of a spoiler for fans. Remember Jessica Whitely from the show’s season premiere episode? She sounded awful, but said that she would be back to try her luck in Texas. Well, she did not get through this time around, either. She actually tried to blame drinking hot water before her audition as the root cause of why she sounded so badly.

It’s an all new auditions episode of American Idol tonight, as the show rolls into Aspen, Colorado to find its next star!

The show has already taken the competition to Savannah, Georgia, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and San Diego, California and has already cultivated some talent for its roster of Hollywood Week stars. You can check out the recaps of the premiere, second and third episodes at the links provided.

So far, we were impressed with David Leathers, Jr., Gabby Carrubba, Shannon Magrane, Amy Brumfield, Phillip Phillips, Eben Franckiewitz, Hallie Day, Jayrah Gibson, Ali Shields, Kyle Crews and Jason “Wolf” Hamlin.

We weren’t so impressed with a slew of the singers and even some who got the golden ticket. Among them were Jennifer Diley, who wore a bikini to her audition and claimed that Steven told her she was guaranteed to get through to Hollywood.

Also leaving us unimpressed was Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane. Sure, she sounded alright, but this was her chance to try and make it without the help of her father. She performed Bonnie Raitt’s song, Something To Talk About and it was a bit flat. They’ve let go of better talent than she has, only to push her through to the next round. It was also rumored that Jane received special treatment from the show — and didn’t have to wait in line like the rest of the people competing.

The show airs on FOX tonight from 8-9PM EST. We’ll be watching…Will YOU? Apparently, they’re going to have some pretty awful singers tonight. We’ve heard a funny quote from Steven Tyler: “Some days you’re the bird, and other days you’re the statue.” Let’s see if that rings true later on tonight!

The eleventh season of American Idol begins tonight on FOX from 8 to 10PM EST! Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler will be judging as the contestants swarm in to the studios and sing for their supper in Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia.

Earlier today, it was revealed that some of the people behind the scenes of the show were cracking jokes about comments that Simon Cowell made. He claimed his show, The X Factor USA, would be a disappointment if it didn’t receive a record of 20 million viewers in its first night.

Are you curious as to how many times Randy will tell someone that they are “in it to win it”? Or how about “dawg”? How many leers Steven will give the young ladies that are singing before him?

Who will get their ticket to Hollywood and who will be sent home packin’? Only time will tell, but we’re sure to catch the drama tonight. Our sister website, Tragicomical, will be covering the show with highlights, lowlights and the competitors who get the golden ticket.

After it was rumored that American Idol judge and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler had married Erin Brady in Hawaii, he confirmed that they are actually engaged.

Steven and Erin have been an item since 2006, but he has just revealed what attracted him to her in the first place. He told Ellen DeGeneres in a new interview, “She has on this hair band on around her head. She looked really old-fashioned, so I took her back in the room and she tied me up with it and I thought, ‘I’m marrying this girl.’”

He went on to say that he didn’t even notice her when they first met. When he saw her for the first time, she was an employee for Clear Channel Communications. He said, “I didn’t notice her.”

Still, along with being with Erin for five years and with two years of sobriety under his belt, he doesn’t live for drugs any longer. He has already been to rehab on more than a few occasions, and that’s an experience that he doesn’t wish to repeat.

He added, “I can’t get back into that world. I can stay high on stage and stay high. I just keep with my program, wish and hope.”

Just the other day, it was rumored that Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler and his long-time girlfriend, Erin Brady, had tied the knot. Now, Steven is confirming reports of his engagement, but nothing more.

The huge rock that he gave Erin was actually an engagement ring and after dating since 2006, we can confirm that they are engaged! His family is said to be super miffed that they got engaged and that he didn’t inform them ahead of time.

It just seems to us that the whole situation boils down to his loads of cash and who gets it if something happens to him. Why else would they care if they knew he popped the question or not?

The Demon of Screamin’ is now 63-years-old and doesn’t need his family’s blessing to get engaged to a woman who has been his constant companion since 2006. Right?

With everyone and their mother getting divorced in 2011, American Idol judge and Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler has decided to tie the knot! According to reports, while in Hawaii with his long-time girlfriend, Erin Brady, they happy couple got married!

His family was said to be miffed over their impending wedding, only because they found out about the engagement only after he had already asked her to marry him.

In the photos, Tyler and Brady can be seen partaking in some kind of ceremony with a woman who works for a company whose website says they perform “traditional and ancient Hawaiian weddings.”

Congratulations to the happy couple if the rumors are true! We’re happy for them. Do you think this will stop Steven from leering creepily at contestants on Idol when it makes its return later this month?

On Tuesday, Earsucker.com learned that Aerosmith singer and American Idol judge Steven Tyler had fallen in a hotel shower. As a result, he knocked out a couple of his teeth and got a black eye. It was later found that his injuries were the result of some food poisoning. Now, he wants his fans to know that his injuries were not caused because of drug abuse.

Steven talked to Matt Lauer via a telephone call on the Today show to discuss the situation. He said, “I get why people think that…It still bothers me a little, but it’s something that I have to deal with for the rest of my life.”

He went on to say, “We flew last night from Paraguay after that incident and we’re in Argentina for two hours. And anyone who knows anyone who uses substances wouldn’t be up at this hour having a talk with Matt Lauer and the rest of America.”

Matt asked, “But you’re clean and sober, that’s not the issue?”

Steven replied, “No, it’s not the issue.”

His injuries look pretty nasty, don’t they? Still — the show must go on, right???

Sixty-three-year-old Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has fallen in a hotel shower!

Reportedly, it was a nasty fall, in which he knocked out several of his teeth. TMZ reports:

Tyler — who was scheduled to perform in Paraguay with Aerosmith tonight — was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital.

A rep for the venue where the band was supposed to perform tells TMZ … tonight’s concert has been canceled.

It’s not the first time Steven has taken a dive….but he needs to take better care of himself or it could turn out a lot worse than just a couple of missing teeth.

Let’s hope that he’s okay, he’s a fantastic singer and an all-around funny guy. He makes watching American Idol bearable. Pray for Steven!

The new promo for the eleventh season of American Idol has been released!

In the video, you can see the judges, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, along with host Ryan Seacrest, encouraging some Idol hopefuls to follow them to the auditions for the famed singing competition.

Upon getting to the auditions, Ryan asks the crowd, “Are you ready?”

The show will make its season premiere on January 22, 2012 on Fox. Are you ready?

According to reports, Jennifer Lopez is already fighting with American Idol judges, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson. That didn’t take long! She just signed the paperwork and she’s already going head to head with those guys?

She called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and told him all about their first disagreement on the show. She said, “I think me, Randy and Steven got into our first fight. I got really, really upset. There was this girl that came in and sang and she was amazing, amazing. And Steven, as he will do when we’re doing our auditions, he’ll ask her for another song. I was like, I was surprised because I was ready to vote. I was like, ‘This girl is amazing.’”

Ryan confirmed that Jennifer was upset that the other judges decided to pass on letting the girl through to the next round. He said, “The thing I recognized from that scene was there was blood boiling for one of the first times. I really felt like your blood was boiling.”

Now that Jennifer Lopez is in the middle of negotiating a huge deal for her return to American Idol, she’s getting a nicer chunk of change for her second year. Reportedly, she received a whopping $12 million to judge the show last year, but this year, her people have gone for broke asking for $20 million.

So she’s getting a ton of cash to return, but Steven Tyler is already in the middle of his two-year contract….but he wants more money, too! They really are like squabbling kids, aren’t they?

Steven has asked for a pay raise to stay on the show — and rightfully so, considering that he’s been a huge star way longer than J-Lo or her infamous booty. Jennifer is now reportedly going to be making double what Steven gets paid — for doing the same job.

A source said, “Jennifer’s management is close to brokering her a huge deal to come back ot the panel for at least one more season, and but the side effect is that it means her fellow judges also want more money.”

The spy went on to say, “Steven is halfway through a two-year deal and his management has asked for more money. They argue he was just as sensational and as popular on the panel as Jennifer. But, on the other side, show bosses argue he’s tied into a deal and has to stick to it. However, it’s hoped they can come to a compromise to keep Steven happy, because the producers love him.”
