T-Pain’s Superbowl Commercial – Voice Box
by Stephen VanDyke on Feb.08, 2010, under articles
I’m guessing this is music related enough to be posted here, since T-Pain is a music artist who will be whoring out the auto-tune party of his for as long as people find it interesting.
Well, I admit, I laughed at this. All the guys sound like girly singers and it is funny because they do not mind! In fact it is encouraged. I KNOW, RIGHT? Well I guess that is funny because it pokes fun at the de-masculinity of men in general today (BAAAAY-BEEEH CAN YOU PASS THE GUACAMOLE-EH. And the fact that it’s being used to sell a light beer, which is beer for men who want to make sure they fit in their sexy skirts. I guess I’ve said my piece on why it is funny, just watch the damn video after the jump. (continue reading…)

Carrie Underwood is nervous before Superbowl performance
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.05, 2010, under articles
Carrie Underwood says that she’s nervous before Sunday’s big game, and it’s not because of who will triumph between the Colts and the Saints.
She said, “I am going to be extremely nervous. The country singer will be belting out “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the game and says, “If I look like I am about to get sick on the field, I may at any moment during that song.”
The singer is rooting for one of the teams to win, but she won’t say who. She added, “I don’t want the other team’s fans to hate me forever. I am just there to have fun.”
Good luck on Sunday, Carrie. Although we doubt you’ll need it.

Jennifer Hudson Lip-Sync’d Her Superbowl Performance
by Roberta Ferguson on Feb.02, 2009, under articles

Jennifer Hudson did a heck of a job singing the national anthem at yesterday’s Superbowl. It’s just been revealed that her performance was lip-sync’d.
The show’s producer, Ricky Minor said that he requested that Jennifer lip-sync her performance because any slight glitch would’ve ruined the show.
Yesterday marked Jennifer’s first time performing since her family was gunned down. I’d have to worry that being in front of so many people after being out of the spotlight a little while, that I’d make a mistake or something. She still did a great job, though.
