Katy Perry Talks Fame; Calls It Disgusting In Teen Vogue Interview
by Jessica LeFevre on Apr.09, 2012, under articles

Pop singer Katy Perry covers the May 2012 issue of Teen Vogue and she’s still rocking the blue hair color. It fits right in with the blue outfits that the magazine dressed her in for the shoot, doesn’t it?
In this issue, she talks about her music, acting and of course, fame. With regard to her music, she said that her label is happy that she’s on her seventh number one hit. She said, “But for me, I don’t need to grind it into anyone’s head that I’m popular. If you like my music, great, and if you don’t, whatever. I’m going to keep making it either way.”
On the topic of acting, she revealed, “There was a time when I was going to be involved in The Help — just a small part, I wasn’t going to be Emma Stone or anything – but I couldn’t because the shooting schedule conflicted with the release of my record. And I was upset about that; I knew it was going to be an important film. Not that I need to do drama first, but I do want to do something that makes a strong impression. You don’t really get off the hook being a musician first…I feel like the stakes are really high.”
My favorite part of the interview is when Katy talks about being famous and she doesn’t seem to be happy with her current celebrity status. She told the magazine, “I’m tired of being famous already! But I’m not tired of creating. Fame is, I think, just a disgusting by-product of what I do. It’s quite a delicate creature — it’s a wild animal of sorts. It can love you, and then it can attack you.”
She added, “I still want to be as approachable and relatable as possible – when I meet fans and they’re crying, I’ll say, ‘Calm down, there’s nothing to cry about. I’m not going to bite you or attack you or grant you three wishes. Let’s just hang out and have a good time.’ But really, I stopped focusing on what other people think a while ago. If you try to be everything to everyone, you’ll only end up completely confused.”
Selena Gomez covers July 2011 Teen Vogue magazine (Photo)

Disney starlet Selena Gomez appears on the front cover of the July 2011 issue of Teen Vogue magazine. She’s seen on the cover with a light blue background, wearing some dark red lipstick.
I’m not really feeling her makeup on this one, she looks a bit unnatural for my liking. But still, she’s a pretty girl and very likeable, so we won’t bash her….but we will say, someone needs to fire their stylist.
At least this cover is way better than Miley Cyrus’…One could get sick and tired of seeing that fake pout everywhere you look.
And Selena’s life is a pretty hot topic right now, considering that she’s dating Justin Bieber. What do you think of the cover??? Let us know in the comments!
Ashley Greene: Demi Lovato questions are off-limits
by Jessica LeFevre on Feb.04, 2011, under articles

Ashley Greene recently gave an interview to Teen Vogue where she talked about Joe Jonas, her new movie, LOL, Miley Cyrus and Disney.
One thing that was skipped in the interview?? Demi Lovato.
We can see why she wouldn’t want to discuss her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend, but her reps put the kibosh on any Demi related questions right off the bat.
Notes Teen Vogue: “Their alleged fight is one of the few topics that Ashley’s publicist has declared to be completely off-limits.”
Can you blame her for not wanting to discuss Demi? Even though there might not be any kind of tiff between them, why create one? What do you think?
Ashley Greene talks about meeting Joe Jonas
by Roberta Ferguson on Jan.31, 2011, under articles

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn actress Ashley Greene did a new interview with Teen Vogue where she talked about meeting her boyfriend, Joe Jonas for the first time!
She said, “We met through mutual friends in London, which is crazy because we both live in L.A.”
They have been plagued by rumors that they’re taking their relationship to the next level with a commitment ring, but not yet an engagement ring. She said, “We’ve already met each other’s parents, which I think is a good result of the kind of lifestyle we live.”
When asked what drew her to Joe, she responded, “He’s sweet and really funny, which is huge for me.”
Aww…Aren’t they just so cute? I think they make a really cute couple, don’t you?
Miley Cyrus talks about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth
by Lydia Harris on Mar.09, 2010, under articles
In a new interview with Teen Vogue, Miley Cyrus dished on her latest boyfriend, Australian actor and her Last Song co-star, Liam Hemsworth.
The Hannah Montana actress dished on what she liked first about Liam, taking a shopping break in Australia and her cameo in the upcoming Sex and the City movie.
TEEN VOGUE: Miley, before you went to Georgia to film The Last Song, you had just gotten out of a relationship. How did you change over the next few months?
MILEY CYRUS: In L.A., I had so many security blankets, people helping me with everything. I tried to book my friend a flight, and I didn’t know how because I was used to someone doing it for me. I didn’t want a babysitter anymore. I came to Tybee Island crying harder than I had ever cried in my life—and I left with the biggest smile on my face.TEEN VOGUE: What were your first impressions of each other?
MILEY CYRUS: He’s really tall. I thought, Either I’m going to have to be in heels or standing on something for this entire movie! He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, Wow.
LIAM HEMSWORTH: I have very good parents (laughs). It was funny—working with Miley was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. From the first time we read, it was like I had known her before.TEEN VOGUE: So, you had chemistry right away?
MILEY CYRUS: Yeah. I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too. (continue reading…)
