On the May 21st episode of “The Bachelorette”, Emily Maynard dismissed Joe Gendreau after their date didn’t work out. The atmosphere on their date was completely awkward and it didn’t appear that they were into each other at all. Now, he’s opening up about the experience.

When asked about what went wrong on their date, he said, “We really didn’t hit it off with each other. We are in different places in our lives. I was a single, free-spirited individual. She was looking for someone more settled and committed to family and work.”

He also said that his five-year plans were different than hers and that caused a problem for them to be able to move on together. He said, “I agree that altered her decision. I said, ‘I want to be happy with no regrets.’ I think she was more looking for more detail like, ‘I want to be here with these many kids.’ I didn’t take offense. She’s determined in what she wants and she didn’t see that in me.”

He doesn’t regret answering in the manner that he did, either. He said, “That’s something I’d like to achieve. I answered truthfully. That’s me being myself.”

After having seen the show, he was asked if he thought it was the right call for Emily. He said, “Whether she made the right decision is on her. After she made her mind up, I was content to move on. I was really happy with everything that happened. I went in open-minded and put myself out there. We just didn’t click. She was very sweet, and I wish her the best. I’m sure she’ll find the right guy.”

On the third episode of Emily Maynard’s season of “The Bachelorette”, there is a lot of drama that goes on in the episode. Luckily for you, we’ve got a sneak peek video of the madness. On Monday’s episode, we saw Emily eliminate three guys. She said goodbye to Joe Gendreau, presumably because he already has a girlfriend. She also said goodbye to Aaron and Kyle, who didn’t seem to make any impression on our Bachelorette. In case you’ve missed that episode, we’ve recapped it in detail here.

In the video, it seems that Arie and Charlie both get individual dates with Emily, much to her enjoyment. Alessandro takes things for a not-so-great turn as he tells Emily that being a father would be a compromise for her. Also of note in this particular episode is Tony crying about how he left his son at home so that he could try and win Emily’s heart.

On last night’s episode of “The Bachelorette”, Emily Maynard sent three more bachelors home. She had a great date with Ryan, after baking cookies for her daughter’s soccer team and showing him the mom side of herself. They went out to Osso Restaurant and then took in some Gloriana. She had her Muppets group date, which seemed to go off without a hitch. The awkwardness was saved for her date with Joe at the Greenbriar. The atmosphere was so funky that you could’ve sworn that they were brother and sister, instead of a couple out on a date. He seemed so unenthusiastic about spending any quality alone time with her. Even after she dismissed him, she cried, but he was like “see ya later, bye.”

Now, Emily has opened up about the experience of sending Joe home on their first date. From “People”:

I never imagined I would be doing the “ugly cry” on my second date, but it wasn’t because I thought I was breaking Joe’s heart by any means. We’ve all had someone tell us that we’re not the one for them and it’s never an easy thing to hear no matter how well you know the person. I just hated having to look at a guy that had done nothing wrong all day and be that girl. Knowing what a funny guy Joe is, though, he probably skipped to the limo and made the driver laugh just as much as he made me and all of the other guys in the house laugh.

Here’s what’s funny about that situation. Firstly, she has basically known the guy for about three days before his exit. Secondly, he didn’t seem to be thrilled with his date because he already had someone waiting at home for him. And here we were wondering why she picked him in the first place. Ha. It was to send him packing!

Last week, we met the 25 men that were vying for Emily’s love and affection. Since, we’ve learned that Emily is looking to start a family rather quickly. Will she be able to find Mr. Right? Twenty-five men walked in and only 19 of them got roses. The first impression rose went to Doug, who also has a child. It was good news for all of the other men who thought that Kalon would get the rose since he met her after emerging from a helicopter. Rumor has it that Kalon is the one that Emily tells to GTFO from last week’s preview of the show.

Tonight on ABC after “Dancing With The Stars”, the eighth season of “The Bachelorette” makes its debut with new star, Emily Maynard! The show airs tonight at 9:30PM EST and we will get to see Emily choose between 25 different men on her quest to find love. Will she be able to find Mr. Right after her relationship with former “Bachelor” star Brad Womack went south?

Speaking of the show, Emily revealed, “I had the best time being The Bachelorette and I can’t wait to share my experience with you on Monday night!”

She also said that it wasn’t all sunshine and roses before taping began for the show’s eighth season. She said, “My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t be able to see myself with any of the guys. But after I met all of the men on the first night, I couldn’t have been more wrong.”

She added, “I hope you all have as much fun watching as I did living it.”

THE BACHELORETTE RECAP OF EMILY MAYNARD’S SEASON PREMIERE HERE!

Emily Maynard will be kicking off the eighth season of The Bachelorette on May 14th at 9:30PM EST on ABC. So, true to form, the network has released her official portrait for the upcoming season.

In case you’ve forgotten, fans grew to love Emily as she won season 15 of The Bachelor, Brad Womack’s heart. In the show’s finale, he proposed to her with a $90,000 engagement ring. The engagement was short-lived, as she did not want to disrupt her daughter Ricki’s home life.

Brad said in an interview that he was the cause of the split. He revealed, “The demise of our relationship was completely my fault.”

For the show’s upcoming eighth season, Emily will get to choose from 25 suitors as the show relocates to her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. The network agreed to do so because Emily didn’t want her daughter’s home life disrupted.

On the show, we are curious if Bentley is going to make an appearance. He was one of Ashley Hebert’s suitors, but all throughout her season, he claimed that he wished the Bachelorette was actually Emily. He was the antagonist of the season, showing Ashley two faces — one that was interested and another, which didn’t really care for her.

In Touch Weekly claims that The Bachelor’s Courtney Robertson is sneaky! Like we didn’t already know that. It doesn’t take a magazine cover to make us believe that, considering we’ve sat through an entire season of the show.

Model and show winner Courtney appears on the cover of the latest issue of ITW, alongsisde the newest Bachelorette, Emily Maynard.

Apparently, Courtney has been hiding some pretty racy stuff from her fiancee Ben Flajnik. She did some nude photos, along with a Playboy shoot and has had a boob job! Oh noes! Does that mean that their relationship will be threatened when he finds out? It’s not very likely, considering that the man watched her backstab a bunch of broads on national television and still found a reason to put a ring on it.

They are also claiming that Emily is greedy in taking her turn on The Bachelorette, even though her family is furious that she’s on the show. She might not be “greedy”, per se, but she does move quickly. According to the magazine, she has already picked out her engagement ring and has cashed the $250,000 check.

After being engaged to The Bachelor, Brad Womack, Emily Maynard has split from him and is entering The Bachelorette in search for a new love.

In the show’s eighth season, Emily will get a set of 25 guys who are all eager to find love. Emily said in a statement hat she is “hoping that third time is the charm”. A source revealed, “She is looking for someone who makes her laugh, doesn’t take himself too seriously and can be her best friend.”

Emily said, “I need stability. A lot of times in Charlotte, I would go out with guys, and most guys knew my story. It’s just a lot to handle. And with a young child, you know, it’s a lot to ask of guys.”

The show will be filming in Emily’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. The show begins its eighth season on ABC in May.

We are more curious as to whether or not Bentley Williams will be making an appearance. When he was on Ashley Hebert’s season, he said that he was upset that Emily wasn’t the Bachelorette. So, he basically toyed with her feelings, even though she was given the heads up beforehand.

Emily has previously said of Bentley, “He clearly had an agenda for being on the show, and it wasn’t to fall in love. It’s hard for me to believe that someone could be that hurtful and just mean spirited. If I were Bentley, I would certainly be sleeping with one eye open.”

So that’s a “no”?

Back in March of 2011, single mother Emily Maynard was proposed to by Bachelor star Brad Womack. Since they had a pretty nasty split, she is ready to find love as the show’s eighth season Bachelorette!

She has previously said that she didn’t want to be on the ABC show, but has had a change of heart. Reportedly, she will begin filming the show in March in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she raises her daughter, Ricki.

A pal of Emily’s said, “She’s looking for a man – not a little boy.”

Was that a dig at Brad?!?

An insider revealed that instead of doing the filming of the show in a Los Angeles mansion, the guys will actually go to where she lives. The source said, “The guys will be flying to her. We’re switching things up a bit.”

When talking with Bachelor host Chris Harrison, Emily said in Jule 2011, “I wanted to be married and have more children, but I doubted he was going to still want to be with me. As a single mom, I don’t have the luxury of saying ‘we’ll figure it out when we get there.’ I need that reassurance that he’d want to be with me six weeks down the road much less six years.”

The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowski graces the latest cover of People magazine, where she talks about leaving her former fiance, Roberto Martinez.

After meeting on the set of the television show, Ali said that she felt like she was ready to get married right away. After being engaged for 18 months, the couple called time on their relationship. Now, she is opening up about what went wrong for them.

Ali said, “I wouldn’t be being truthful if I said this came out of nowhere. We definitely had been having problems. But I had always believed that we could work it out.”

They were set to get married in 2010, but then postponed their plans, so that they could work on staying together. However, despite their attempts, they continued to argue.

She added, “We both realized we were unhappy more than we were happy. And we both deserved more.”

Kate Gosselin’s TLC reality show, Kate Plus 8, has been given the axe and Kate herself has said that she’s not done with television.

So, fans of hers thought that the natural next step for her would be to take on the role of the Bachelorette! Sure, she’s single…but she’s got eight kids! How’s she going to hole up in a mansion with 25 eligible bachelors with eight munchkins missing their mother, or even worse, take them with her?

She even hinted that perhaps a dating show might be the way to go. She tweeted, “I can’t wait2have the chance2challenge myself again w future endeavors!…And maybe even some dating??!!”

Don’t count on it, Kate. The creator of the Bachelor, Mike Fleiss, said no freakin’ way. Actually, he said, “Kate Gosselin? Sounds like a perfect fit for Bachelor Pad. or, H8R.”

What he should’ve said was, “Kate Gosselin? Does anyone wanna tell me who that is? Oh wait, she’s got HOW many kids? Umm…no. No, thank you. Issue a press release, divert the question, but this broad is not getting anywhere near my show. Don’t make me look like a jerk, either. Don’t mention the kids. Thanks.”

The Bachelorette star, Ashley Hebert and her fiancee, J.P. Rosenbaum say that they’re not planning to make their return to the small screen anytime soon!

The happy couple became engaged on the season finale of the show, and he presented her with a Neil Lane engagement ring worth $60,000. Ashley said, “I don’t think you’ll be seeing us on TV unless you Tivoed those episodes.”

When asked about the prospect of a televised wedding, J.P. said, “We talk about it in jest sometimes, but no real thought has gone into it.”

She went on to reveal, “We built this great foundation. We’ve been engaged for two months, but I feel like we’ve been together for years. We have a fairytale…but like the world say, there’s ups and downs. It’s not perfect, but it’s great. It’s a real relationship. It’s not like we’re in la-la-land.”

J.P. also discussed this season’s villain, Bentley Williams, saying, “We’ve come to the other side and we couldn’t be happier.”

Ashley is planning to move to New York to be with J.P. within the next month. Of that, she said, “J.P.’s in New York. He’s settled here, he’s happy here. I’m really excited to be with him. And I have no hesitation about moving in. I think we’re ready for that. He cleaned out a closet for me. How sweet is that?”

The Bachelorette star, Ashley Hebert covers the latest issue of People magazine, talking about her engagement to JP Rosenbaum!

Regarding her decision to pick JP, she said, “I’ve never even looked back for a second on my decision.”

She also reveals that she credits JP with helping her get over that douchebucket user, Bentley Williams. This still puzzles me because she went into that with a warning that he was there for other purposes and still pursued him. I would’ve chucked him out the door on the first night, well, right after the drunk dude who passed out.

She revealed, “Our relationship really started after we left the show. The show made us stronger than if we’d met on the outside.”

Are you happy that she picked JP? Was it a surprise at all, considering that there were leaked paparazzi photos of the two of them together weeks ago? Did you think she should end up with Ben?

You won’t have to wait too much longer before you see who Ashley Hebert picks for her Bachelorette winner, but here is some news… She says in a new interview that she’s “so happy and in love.” Cue the awwwwwwws.

During the taping of Sunday’s Men Tell All special, she reveals that she’s found a great guy. J.P., maybe?!? We know for sure that it wasn’t that jerk Bentley, because he declined their offer to attend the show.

She said, “There were certainly moments where I thought I’d made a mistake agreeing to be the Bachelorette and thought it wasn’t going to end well. But you come out a stronger person and learn so many things about yourself. Ultimately, I know I did the right thing.”

She went on to reveal that all of the pain and heartbreak she went through was worth it in the end. She said, “I’m so happy, so in love. I found a great man. It’s going strong – we’ve been hanging out and talking all the time. I hoped I would leave with this type of relationship.”

The finale is Monday night and Ashley is excited to get it all out in the public eye, so she can move on with her daily life. She added, “I’m really ready for this to be over so we can go into the light of day and get on with normal everyday life.”

If you were hoping that Emily Maynard would take the coveted role of the next Bachelorette, then you’re in for some disappointment. According to reports, Emily is not taking the role!

It all boils down to the publicity she received when she appeared on The Bachelor, with Brad Womack. She sat down for an interview with The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison recently and discussed the idea.

As far as why Brad wasn’t there, she said, “He wants privacy just as much as I do. The only reason is because I don’t want people following me anymore. I have a daughter I have to protect.”

If you still have doubts as to whether or not she wants to appear on television again, then this might clear that up for you. She said, “That was my main reason for coming here. If I didn’t have that I would have just let it ride and never been on TV again.”

The star of the latest season of The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert, graces the cover of the July 11, 2011 issue of Life & Style magazine. Apparently, after choosing her Mr. Right, she’s been betrayed again!

At first, she was betrayed by resident bad boy, Bentley Williams, after he led her on and then broke her heart. He was saying all kinds of nasty things behind her back, but to her face, he was as nice as pie. They reunited in Hong Kong where they turned their “dot dot dot” into a “period”.

After Bentley’s cruel taunts, it’s revealed that her new fiancee already has a girlfriend back home! Oh noes!

Did she really think that she would find love on a reality television show? Seriously, as much as this woman whined that people weren’t on the show for her, you would think that she would be prepared to be used for ratings. Isn’t that what she’s been doing to those 25 guys in the first place?!??

Also in this issue are Kim Zolciak’s baby boy, Teen Mom Catelynn’s college, wedding & babies, along with Jessica Simpson’s wedding in Hawaii.

If you were curious as to how much Ashley Hebert made as a result of her two month filming for The Bachelorette, then the news may just surprise you.

She made a cool $30,000 for her role on the show, which is a lot lower than some of the other stars. Reportedly, others have made in the $100,000 range, which is a good take for two months of filming a reality show. The show was taped from mid-March through mid-May of this year.

If you want to compare, former Bachelor Jason Mesnick, who appeared on the 2009 season of the show, raked in the same amount for his two hour wedding special with Molly Malaney.

It does seem strange that she wouldn’t get paid as much. I wonder if the show executives thought she wouldn’t pull in the ratings. She sure is getting a lot of media attention and tabloid coverage.

According to Life & Style magazine, the new star of The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert was tortured for her looks!

When she was on The Bachelor, she was turning to food to cope with the stress and her feelings for Brad Womack. As a result of comfort eating, she noticed that she packed on ten pounds. Now, she reveals how she decided to change her diet and exercise, just in time for her upcoming wedding!

She said, “I don’t drink as much, and I don’t eat as many desserts as last time. Now it’s fruits, vegetables, salads and chicken – staying healthy.”

She also revealed that she got into more physically demanding exercises so that she could drop the extra weight. She revealed, “I teach dance classes – jazz and hip-hop – so I get a good mix of exercise types.”

When she wasn’t teaching dance, she was also into a “bodypump” class to burn extra calories. She added, “It’s a new, enlightened me. I’m happy. I’m in such a great place right now!”

On the magazine’s cover, it says, “After being called ‘ugly’ and ‘flat’, Ashley opens up about her insecurities and how her fiance made her feel sexy again.”

Also in this issue, Kim Kardashian’s super expensive wedding registry. Duh, she obviously likes spending other people’s money. Jennifer Aniston also makes an appearance in this issue to tell the world that she’s not a homewrecker. In addition, they’re going inside Lindsay Lohan’s house arrest (where she likes to make money by sitting at home).

The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert made last night’s episode of the reality show all about honesty. But, there is a hitch. She can’t seem to move forward in any positive direction with the remaining men until she has some closure on the Bentley Williams issue.

He left her high and dry, telling her that he wanted to go back home because he missed his daughter, Cozy. In reality, in his confessionals, he said that he really wasn’t into Ashley. He went as far as saying that he was going to make her cry and that he wished the new Bachelorette was actually Emily Maynard.

Obviously, Ashley didn’t get to see his dirtbag footage, so she feels that there was something there and wants to get it resolved before moving on.

At the end of last night’s episode, Ashley tells Chris that she wants some closure with Bentley and he said that he would see what he could do. They show a preview of next week’s episode, with Chris telling Ashley that Bentley is in Hong Kong, staying at the same hotel she is.

Obviously the other guys are miffed. But, we’ve heard reports that Bentley won’t be sticking around for too long. So, let’s just hope that she sees through him and picks a guy that’s actually there for the right reasons.

The villain on this season of The Bachelorette, Bentley Williams, may just have to return to the show to apologize to the star, Ashley Hebert!

We’ve already heard that it wasn’t going to be the last of Bentley that we’d see this season, so here’s his way back in to mess with her some more. He obviously wasn’t attracted to her and definitely wasn’t there for the right reasons, so why even bother?

His father Gregory said that it’s not like his son to be mean and he should redeem himself. Gregory said, “My son needs to apologize!”

He continued, “I’m sure people think he’s a bad guy, but he’s not. He’s not cruel or mean. If Bentley knew that Ashley’s feelings were hurt, he would want to apologize to her. Anytime someone has a chance to redeem themselves, they should.”

He certainly does need to apologize! It looked like he took pleasure in telling her lies and we can’t just chalk that up to the editing, can we? He came off as a jerk, plain and simple. He wasn’t there for Ashley, he was there for Bentley.

A few weeks ago, there were rumblings that the current star of The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert was in talks to star on season 13 of Dancing With The Stars. According to sources, the rumors are true!

A source close to the casting department at ABC tells Earsucker.com that Ashley will continue her association with the network, after her Bachelorette days are done.

Ashley will be following in the footsteps of former Bachelor/Bachelorette stars Jake Pavelka, Trista Sutter and Melissa Rycroft. The new season is slated to begin in September, and by that time, we’re sure Ashley will still be the talk of the town. I’m sure she’ll have her bachelor winner picked out, televised and possibly dumped by then. By that time, we’re also going to predict that this season’s villain, Bentley Williams, will either be the new Bachelor or he’ll have a part on the new season of Bachelor Pad.

ABC is rallying hard to get Ashley to join their ranks, but she does have a dance background. I would’ve gathered by previous seasons that this might be an unfair advantage. What do you think?

According to The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison, Ashley Hebert is set to give this season’s villain, Bentley Williams, another shot. In a new interview, the host revealed that Ashley is bringing the bad guy back. We could speculate that it’s either for the ratings or the fact that she’s ignorant of the bad things he’s been saying behind her back.

Chris said, “She wants that closure – she will definitely get that. Bentley comes back and they will solve this.”

The interviewer asked if Ashley begged the show’s producers to have Bentley make his return to the show, but Chris assured fans that’s not the case. He said, “I told her point blank she calls the shots. There are no rules.”

Do you really want to see Ashley bring Bentley back? How about after the news hit that he and his ex-wife were seemingly plotting to bring awareness to their clothing line? Perhaps he really did wish that the new Bachelorette was Emily Maynard, because she and his ex bare a striking resemblance. He definitely has a type.
