Lady Gaga fears suffocation
by Roberta Ferguson on Nov.25, 2009, under articles
Lady Gaga explained the meaning behind her new song, featuring Beyonce, titled “Telephone”. She said that she fears suffocation and not just the physical kind.
She said that she has a hard time letting her hair down, figuratively and gave us an explanation of the song. She said, “Fear of suffocation – something that I have or fear is never being able to enjoy myself. Cause I love my work so much, I find it really hard to go out and have a good time.”
She added, “I don’t go to nightclubs. You don’t see pictures of me falling out of a club drunk. I don’t go – and that’s because I usually go and then, you know, a whiskey and a half into it, I got to get back to work.”
Shea also said that it’s not someone on the other end of the phone that’s so bothersome, but a person in her head telling her to work harder. She concluded, “That’s my fear – that the phone’s ringing and my head’s ringing. Whether it’s a telephone or it’s just the thoughts in your head, that’s another fear.”

All praise Queen Gaga and her supply of neverending dance hits and fashion escapades. Lady Gaga has said that she’s taken steps to make sure her fans can afford “The Fame Monster”, because they have been so loyal to her.
She said, “We may have an economy, but music has no economy. I insist on honoring my fans with an affordable new album, an album that is as loyal to them, as they have been me…. In the midst of my creative journey composing ‘The Fame Monster’, there came an exciting revelation that this was in fact my sophomore album. I would not add, nor take away any songs from this EP. It is a complete conceptual and musical body of work that can stand on its own two feet.”

Lady Gaga adds 8 songs to ‘The Fame Monster’
by Roberta Ferguson on Oct.08, 2009, under articles
Lady Gaga has just announced today that she’s releasing her compilation, “The Fame Monster” on November 24th and that it contains eight new songs!
She said, “On my re-release ‘The Fame Monster’, I wrote about everything I didn’t write on ‘The Fame’. While traveling the world for two years, I’ve encountered several monsters, each represented by a different song on the new record: my ‘Fear of Sex Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Alcohol Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Love Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Death Monster,’ my ‘Fear of Loneliness Monster,’ etc.”
She added, “I spent a lot of nights in Eastern Europe, and this album is a pop experimentation with industrial/Goth beats, 90′s dance melodies, an obsession with the lyrical genius of 80′s melancholic pop, and the runway. I wrote while watching muted fashion shows and I am compelled to say my music was scored for them. I also composed a ballad for the album, “Speechless”, a song for my father, and it’s my favorite work of all. I wrote every piece on the road – no songs about money, no songs about fame. I wrote it for my fans, so I wrote everything in between.”
I can’t wait!!!
